Act One Chapter 16

3rd POV

Katsuki stood above his downed opponent, victorious once again. He pulled off the sticky tape-like substance from his clothes and hands, walking away from the training mat and up the stairs.

Sero laid on the floor panting and twitching, covered in minor burns from Katsuki's trainer bombs.

Katsuki vs Sero was the last match of the period, ending the day. All that was left was a shower and then 'go home' time!

The blond waltzed into the locker room to shower and change out his sweaty clothes. He paused in front of a mirror, looking around the empty room. Katsuki peeled off his shirt.

Might as well give the pervert something to look at while he's waiting. Distract him a little, Katsuki thought with a smirk, pulling out his phone.

Katsuki was on the train on his way to Izuku's house.

Izuku hadn't yet responded to his texts, neither the picture nor that he was on his way. Honestly, Katsuki was getting a bit worried. The last time Izuku didn't answer the phone, he was probably doing something bad.

Katsuki tried not to worry, though he mentally wished for the train to move faster.

When Katsuki got to Izuku's house, his car still wasn't there.

He knocked. No answer.

He rang the doorbell. No answer.

Finally, he turned the doorknob, pushing the door open. He walked in and closed and locked the door as he went to the living room. One of Izuku's medication bottles was on the table, but other than that, the place was near spotless.

Katsuki was bored. Severely. So, he grabbed a pint of Ben & Jerry's 'Everything But The...' ice cream, sat on the couch, and went through 'Why Me''s Netflix account. Apparently, he was on Season 5 of My Little Pony, Season 3 of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, Season 2 of Ever After High, and Season 1 of Octonauts?

'Is he okay? Mentally? Spiritually?'

But then he got bored of snooping, so he decided to explore the house.

Katsuki got up and strolled through the kitchen to where he had seen a door. It was probably the basement. He turned the handled, and wouldn't you know it, it was locked!

Alright fuck that idea, let's try upstairs, he thought. And so it was.

The blond walked up the stairs into Izuku's room. First, he searched underneath the mattress and bed. Nothing. Boo, boring! Then, he searched through the dressers. All that was in there was what looked to be Izuku's knife collection. More on that later. Now there was only one place left to check:

The closet.

Katsuki marched over to the large double doors and pulled them open. He went inside, pushing back racks and hanging clothes, taking shoes off their shelves, and opening tons more drawers, but there was nothing except clothes. He even went all the way to the back of the closet, but there wasn't a goddamn thing!

"Fuck!", he swore, kicking the wall. Katsuki kicked it again, and again, back to the doors. He pulled his foot back, channeling all of his frustration into his kick, and threw it back. (Insert Kacchan twerking/j)

THUD!

Katsuki paused. He kicked that spot again.

Thud.

It was hollow. And there was something pressed against it from behind.

Katsuki instantly dropped to his knees and felt around for a crack in the wall. His fingers dipped into a hole. He hooked them into it and pulled, a soft creak sounding in the closet.

A small, square door was opened, and inside was a large black bag, and a box. Katsuki peeked inside the bag and immediately pushed it to the side with a blush. There were... things in it that he'd really expected to see, considering it was Izuku's. But more on that later.

He moved to the box, picking it up and setting it on his folded legs. It was a bit heavy, the brown box. On the lid was scrawled chicken-scratch in Izuku's handwriting saying: 'See Kacchan notebook.'

Katsuki opened the box and nearly dropped it once he saw what was inside.

Pictures.

Lots of pictures.

Pictures of Katsuki when he was younger, eating, playing video games, sleeping, everything. There were 3 stacks of the square photos. In the side of the box, was a sheet of paper. Katsuki plucked the paper from its place and unfolded it, still quite in shock from the photos of forgotten memories.

It was a drawing. A detailed one. Of Katsuki, of course. He was sleeping, face facing towards. Katsuki could see the gentle strokes of the ink. He could nearly count every eyelash on his closed eyes, every careful line that made up his hair, he could see every breath that escaped his parted lips. He could feel the moon's cold light shining down on his side from the open window behind him. The breeze that made him pull the covers over the slope of his shoulder. The dips and hills of his body, hidden by the sheets. The smile on his lips in his most vulnerable state.

Katsuki could see the colors amidst the black and white of the piece.

In the corner of the paper, at the very bottom, was:

Mahi in neat cursive on the left;

And Izuku on the right, in shitty handwriting.

'"See Kacchan notebook"? What notebook? That fuckin creep has a notebook on me, too?'

Placing everything back in the box and into the cubby-hole, the blonde stood and raced out of the closet, accidentally slamming the doors behind him. His head whirled around, skimming the room for anymore hiding places.

"A notebook." He muttered, eyes scanning wildly. "Where would that fucker put a notebook?"

Then, he spotted the bookshelf. A huge fucking bookshelf that took up a whole corner of the room. A three shelves filled with only notebooks.

"How do I miss a whole fucking bookshelf?"

I don't know Katsuki, I ain't got a clue. But, it is what it is.

On the first shelf were notebooks titled, "Notes For My Future." But more on that later.

The second shelf was call "Heroes and Villains." Fucking later.

Ahh, there we go, the third shelf! Full of "Kacchan"'s across the board!

Now that's what I'm talking bout. But;

More on that later..

Im finally back after some technical difficulties! Izu appears next. But who's Mahi?...
