Sinking Fast-Ch 21
A few days later Derek and Penelope had loaded up her stuff and were heading back to town, she was do to start work soon and she still needed to get everything unloaded at her new home, her home with Derek. He was so happy that she had agreed to move into his house with him, he couldn't wait to see what their future was going to bring them, he himself hoped that it brought a life filled with, love, peace, joy and happiness and all of that with his baby girl.
As they pulled up in front of Dereks house she couldn't help but smile when she saw the others waiting on the porch, when they got out of his car she said, "hey guys what are all of you doing here"?, Emily grinned and said, "we're here to help you unpack of course" and Penelope said, "thank you all so much, i really appreciate it" as JJ and Emily threw their arms around their friend and smiled.
Derek stood watching the trio of women laugh and talk, he hadn't realized that his life was missing anything, that was until he went on that trip with his friend Mark and ohhhhh what a trip it was. He was tied up, beaten, a bomb blew up and sank the boat and he almost died with the love of his life, but thankfully he didn't and neither did she.
He along with the other men started getting the boxes out of the back of the back of the car, she had managed to get everything that she wanted to keep and bring it with her and now the only thing that mattered to her was living her life to the fullest and living it with Derek and the others would do just that.
Penelope, JJ and Emily were getting ready to carry a box inside the house when another car pulled up into the driveway, Penelope said, "who is that"? as three women stepped out and started making their way toward the group. She then watched as the older woman wrapped her arms around Derek and hugged him and when she was through the younger two women did the same thing and JJ said, "ohhh that's Dereks mom and sisters".
Derek walked over toward Penelope and said, "baby girl this is my mom Fran Morgan Rossi and my sisters Sarah and Desiree" and Penelope said, "it's nice to meet all of you". Fran stepped forward and pulled her into a motherly hug and said, "and it's so nice to meet you to honey and please call me Fran", Penelope said, "thanks Fran and Please call me Penelope".
She then hugged Sarah and Desi and now the 6 women were laughing, talking and carrying the boxes inside the house, Derek put his hands on his hips and said, "she seems to be fitting in nicely don't you guys think"?, Dave said, "that she does son, that she does but I never had a doubt that she would, not after seeing how much in love the two of you were".
Derek said, "I've never felt this way before Dave, everything fell into place the second I met her and I have been falling deeper and deeper in love with her ever since" and Dave said, "good son, it's good to see you happy". Reid said, "I never thought I would see the day that The Derek Morgan would actually fall in love and now that I see how happy you are I'm so glad that i was around to see it".
Hotch stepped forward and said, "me too, I was afraid for the longest time that this day would never happen that Derek would never find a woman that he loved and would settle down with". Derek said, "hey I'm not that bad" and Dave, Hotch and Reid in unison said, "yes you are" and then the men all started laughing as they continued carrying the boxes inside.
Several hours later after everything was carried in and put away Fran said, "I don't know about the rest of you but this old woman is tired and hungry" and JJ said, "I agree Fran I'm tuckered out and hungry too". Penelope said, "how does pizza sound"? and everybody laughed and said, "yeahhhhhhh" in unison as Derek pulled out his phone and started dialing the number of his favorite pizza place.
After giving the order he turned around and said, "don't worry everything will be here in about half an hour" and Penelope said, "how about we spend the rest of the evening just chilling out and watching some movies"?, Emily said, "sounds good, ohhh what we need to go get Jack and Henry" and Penelope said, "do you guys live far away from here"? and Emily said, "about 10 minutes" and Penelope said, "why don't you go get your sons and bring them here and we can all watch movies together" and JJ said, "sounds like a plan as her and Emily grabbed their things and headed to their cars.
Derek walked back outside and said, "baby girl this is Clooney" and the dog ran over to her and sat down at her feet and looked up at her and wagged his tail and barked, she rubbed his head and said, "now aren't you just adorable". Derek said, "he's a good boy and it's obvious that he loves his mom as much as I do" and Penelope winked and said, "well the feeling is mutual" as she continued rubbing Clooneys head for a few more minutes.
About 45 minutes later the group was all watching movies and enjoying their delicious pizza, Derek wrapped his arm around Penelopes waist and said, "well what do you think"?, she kissed him and said, "I love it here and I love you". She then looked beside her as Henry sat down beside her and said, "can I call you aunt P"?, she said, "of course you can" and Jack said, "me toooooooooooo"? and she laughed and said, "of course you can too" and both boys high fived and said, "yayyyy" and then everybody's attention then went back to the movie.
At the end of the night an exhausted couple cuddled together in bed, Derek smiled as she yawned and he said, "good night baby girl", Penelope said, "good night handsome, sweet dreams". Derek then said, "I already have everything I could ever ask for right here in my arms" she kissed his lips gently and said, "me too my love me too" and it wasn't long before the couple soon fell to sleep after a long and tiring day.
