After saying their good-byes, everyone had returned to the school except for Carlos.
"I can't believe this is actually happening," said Evie as they all watched a bright light erupt from the forest where the Bloodstalk had been.
"I never told him this, but Carlos was like a brother to me," said Jay.
"We'll all carry out memories of him in our hearts from now on, no matter where we go, he'll be there with us," said Mal as she hugged the two.
"Raven," said Apple S as she walked over to her Raven who had been standing alone.
"He had nothing to do with our world, so why should Carlos have to give his life to save it?" asked the witch who could not bring herself to look at the other girl.
"You heard him, Raven," said Apple S.
"He was going to die from his cancer anyway so saving a world by giving his life up was what he wanted, and you're needed here in order to help bring Ever After to a new era," she said while forcing her girlfriend to turn and look at her.
"We at least have to make it known what he did here today," said Raven S.
"This can't just disappear from our history like the information on the Bloodstalk did," she said with tears rolling down her cheeks.
"And we will, I promise," said Apple S before hugging her.
"Whoa," said everyone at the same time which got their attention.
"It's beautiful," said Raven S as they noticed a rainbow light flowing across the land.
"Your friend may not be here physically, but he shall be with you forever," said the Cipher as he flew over their heads before vanishing.
"Yeah, he will be," said Jay while catching a small sparkle of light that had fallen in front of him.
