Ch.18: Schedule
Walking into the office, I sat again, with Luna retreating to do a walk of the school. Celestia smiled, cracking her knuckles as she pulled up a program on her laptop.
"Did you want to get Civics and Creative Writing out of the way?" She asked.
I nodded. "Sure!"
Celestia nodded, making some clicks. "Since we do not have your tests on file, we cannot put you in any Advanced Placement courses, unless you wanted to do the qualifying test" she said looking at me.
I shook my head. "Not right now anyway. Maybe wintertime. Is there any way I can do a Gym class?" I asked.
She beamed. "Do you have an hour preference?"
I thought on it. "Last hour, please."
She nodded. "Now for your last two- you may pick anything on this list" she said pulling a paper out of her filing cabinet and handing it to me. "Except for Senior Math and Construction, because those are classes for Seniors" she added quickly.
I nodded, one class catching my eye. "What's in the Home Economics class? Cooking and sewing?"
She shook her head. "It is mainly a cooking class. Your friend Applejack's Grandmother teaches it."
I smiled. "Sign me up!"
She did just that, as another class popped up.
"Psychology" I requested. She grinned.
"You share that class with Fluttershy and her childhood friend Lyra." She said making a few more clicks.
"Okay! Here we go" she said handing me the schedule- Home Economics, Civics, Psychology, Lunch, Creative Writing, and Gym.
"Do you have any questions for me?" She asked with a smile.
I pondered for a moment. "Just one. Do I have any classes with Aria?"
Celestia looked for a moment, and grinned. "Two. Civics and Gym."
I nodded. "So, we'll be making policy and playing together" I grinned. I then suddenly blushed. That quip had NOT come from me.
Celestia accepted this and dismissed me. She sighed to herself.
"Where does this all lead, Father?"
As I went to leave the school, I was stopped by Luna, who wore a concerned expression.
"David, I must ask- even with this voice you have, do you feel okay? I only ask because Twilight and Sunset have been going through the same scenarios."
I processed the new information, coming to the conclusion that there was something big to this.
"I do. He doesn't threaten me or anything. Just gives me advice. I can't help but wonder why though. Why me?"
Luna shrugged. "I struggle to explain all of this myself. Pandestria has seen many strange incidents since Sunset Shimmer arrived three years ago. Oh, I do not dislike her. But the coincidence is too much not to notice."
"Go enjoy your day, David. Perhaps Aria may have an explanation."
"She is a demon, after all"
