Sunday Night HEAT: 16/8/1998

Sunday Night HEAT was live at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska. The show opened with a tag team title match between Kane & Mankind and LOD 2000. LOD 2000 consisted of Animal & Darren Drozdov as the announcers theorized that Hawk was unfit to wrestle. Kane won the match and retained the titles after pinning Animal.

Jacqueline and Marvelous Marc are in the ring to confront Sable for her transgressions on the last Raw. Sable comes to the entranceway and trades barbs. Sable accepts Jacqueline's challenge and says she can beat her in any contest that she can think of.

Up next was the Bladewolf vs Brian Christopher.

In the arena, Christopher's theme hits and he comes out to a mixed reaction from the fans, making his way down to the ring.

"The following contest is scheduled for one-fall! Introducing first... BRIAN CHRISTOPHER!" Tony Chimel announced.

"If I was Brian, I'd get the heck out of there." Shane chuckled. "I mean, he's going up against the destructive monster that is the Bladewolf."

"The Bladewolf was only suffered one loss in his time here in the WWF." JR said as Brian enters the ring. "While Brian is a talented guy, I doubt his chances of beating the Bladewolf here tonight. And folks, it is confirmed that the Bladewolf will defend his Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam, we just don't know who it will be against but from the looks of it, it could possibly be the Rock and Triple H in a rematch from Fully Loaded."

"Don't forget, SummerSlam is where Bladewolf debuted here." Shane reminded.

"That too." JR nodded. "Bladewolf will walk into the the event he debuted at a year ago as Champion. But will he walk out as Champion is the question."

Brian paces inside the ring and his theme dies down as he waits for his opponent.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The Devil's Wolf plays and the lights dim to the sinister blood red and dark blue before the Bladewolf comes out to a loud pop from the fans. He had the WWF Intercontinental Championship around his waist.

"And their opponent, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs, the World Wrestling Federation Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced before leaving the ring as the Demon Wolf makes his way down to the ring.

"And here comes that demonic, destructive force of evil known as the Bladewolf." JR said. "The younger brother of the Undertaker and Kane. And there's been all this talk that the Bladewolf is in on this alliance with his brothers."

"I think he is! After all, he's got unfinished beef with Stone Cold Steve Austin." Shane said.

Bladewolf climbs onto the ring apron and stares down his opponents before he takes off his coat and tosses it aside, followed by his metallic Predator-style mask, then steps over the top rope to enter the ring, taking off the title and holds it. He then hands it to someone at ringside as his theme dies down and the lights return to normal before the referee calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"Matchup underway and Brian Christopher!" JR said as Brian runs and assaults Bladewolf with lefts and rights that doesn't faze the masked monster. "Brian with punches but the Bladewolf is not fazed and-oh!" Bladewolf shoves Brian with just one hand, sending the man onto his back.

"What a shove!" Shane exclaimed. "You don't want to be caught by this man, he'll tear you apart!"

Brian stumbles to his feet and backs off as Bladewolf approaches. Brian is soon cornered before he tries to run but Bladewolf grabs him around the waist with one arm and yanks him back, clobbering him from behind with a forearm to the back of the neck.

"Good God." JR winced. "Bladewolf, bringing his forearm to the back of Brian's head."

Bladewolf stares down at Brian before he grabs him and launches him into the corner, where Bladewolf unleashes an assault of punches with his right hand, aiming for Brian's forehead. The referee tries to tell him off but backs away in fear when Bladewolf whirls on him. Bladewolf then turns and starts stomping away on Brian in the corner, even pressing his boot down on his chest and pushing him hard against the turnbuckle.

"The Bladewolf just punishing Brian here." JR said.

Bladewolf backs up before he runs and drives his knee into Brian's face. Bladewolf then grabs Brian by the throat and yanks him out the corner and to his feet, lifts him up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

"Oh and a Chokeslam!" JR exclaimed.

"Woo!" Shane exclaimed.

Bladewolf pulls Brian to his feet before hoisting him onto his right shoulder, positions Brian upside down and holds him in front of him... THEN HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!

"Tombstone!" JR exclaimed as Bladewolf holds the arms down for the cover, staring into Brian's eyes. "Now the cover!"

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three! Ring the bell!" The referee called.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"That's it!" Shane shouted.

The Devil's Wolf plays as Bladewolf gets to his feet. "Here is your winner... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced as the referee hands the Intercontinental Championship to the Bladewolf who snatches it and glares at the referee until he leaves the ring.

"Another dominating performance by the WWF Intercontinental Champion." JR said. "We can expect more of this to come in the following weeks or months, I bet."

Bladewolf turns and leaves the ring as the lights dim to the sinister blood red and dark blue. Bladewolf passes the curtain to go backstage...

Later

in the arena, the Undertaker's Bells & Thunder theme plays before the Phenom himself comes out and makes his way down towards the ring. A shot of Stone Cold was shown in his locker room, watching while drinking a can of beer as he and everyone else in the world and in the WWF wants to know if Undertaker, Bladewolf and Kane are in cahoots with each other.

Undertaker enters the ring and grabs a microphone, causing his theme to die down as he begins talking. "Austin, I came out here and I challenged you like a man. And when I became the #1 contender for the World Wrestling Federation title, I vowed to you you would be the safest SOB in the World Wrestling Federation. I've everything i said I was going to do. I did everything to protect my investment into the World Wrestling Federation title. But the one person i couldn't protect you from... was yourself. because you see now, boy, you've done the wrong thing... you pissed me off. And I came at you like a man just like I'm gonna do at SummerSlam. I'm gonna be all up in your face. But you see, Austin, you already have one foot in the grave. So if you're hell-bent on self-destruction, well I guess I'm gonna meet you at the intersection on the highway to hell and I will take the World Wrestling Federation title."

Not long after, Stone Cold's theme hits and out comes Austin with the WWF title in hand and a fierce glare on his fce aimed at the Undertaker as he makes his way down the ramp to the ring.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The wolf cut through everything suddenly and the lights went out for several seconds, then when they came back on... THE BLADEWOLF WAS IN THE RING! The Bladewolf was standing beside his older brother, staring at Austin who had paused on the ramp as he eyes the two brothers when suddenly an explosion occured on the stage, causing Austin to turn around and Kane walked out.

Austin looked back and fourth, realizing he was trapped between the three brothers but this still didn't confirm whether the three brothers were indeed in an alliance together, it only confirmed Bladewolf's further alliance with the Undertaker as they had been allies for months now, but the fans didn't know if Kane had joined them...

And that's it for this chapter everyone. Yeah, I'll be doing some of the Sunday Night Heat stuff in 1998 and 1999.
