RAW is WAR: 17/8/1998

RAW is WAR was live at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Right now, the Street Fight between DX and the Nation was underway. DX runs wild to start. Lots of DDTs on cookie sheets. The Rock lands the People's Elbow on Road Dogg. Billy Gunn breaks up the pin and gives Rock a piledriver on a baking sheet. Hey look, it's JEFF JARRETT. He goes right after X-Pac who is already in fighting mode. X-Pac pounds on Jarrett with his back to the rampway as SOUTHERN JUSTICE appears and saves Jarrett. With X-Pac down, Jarrett pulls out some clippers and cuts off some of X-Pac's hair. By the way, Triple H takes ROCK BOTTOM in the ring. Oh man. Jarrett and Southern Justice start beating up Billy Gunn while X-Pac makes the save with a trash can. Meanwhile, Triple H gets busted open as he's being mugged by the Nation. A ladder gets put in the ring as the Nation continue to abuse Helmsley. Southern Justice and Jarrett continue to beat up on X-Pac and the Outlaws.

Just as the Street Fight seems to be nearing it' climax... THE BLADEWOLF STARTS WALKING DOWN THE RAMP!

"Here comes the Bladewolf!" JR exclaimed while Jerry screamed.

"Run everyone!" He shouted.

Bladewolf clobbers Jeff Jarrett, then double clotheslines Southern Justice before he delivers a big boot to X-Pac only to be jumped by Road Dogg but Bladewolf grabs him and drives him into the metal guard railing. Bladewolf then picks up a trash can and... STARTS SMCKING EVERYBODY OUTSIDE THE RING WITH IT!

"Good God! the Bladewolf is striking anybody that moves!" JR exclaimed as Bladewolf tosses the can aside before sliding into the ring. "Now he's in the ring!2

"Look out!" Jerry shouted.

Mark Henry raises a Cookie Sheet... BUT BLADEWOLF PUNCHES THE COOKIE SHEET INTO HENRY'S FACE! Henry goes down as D-Lo Brown sneaks up from behind... AND HITS THE BLADEWOLF WITH A COOKIE SHEET! BUT TO NO EFFECT! Bladewolf whirls around and stares at a now pale D-Lo Brown. Bladewolf takes the Cookie Sheet... AND SMACKS BROWN OVER THE HEAD WITH IT!

"Ouch!" Jerry winced. "That had to hurt!"

Bladewolf drops the cookie sheet before he grabs Brown by the throat, lifts him up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

"Chokeslam to D'Lo!" JR shouted before Bladewolf grabs Henry by the throat. "Now he's got Mark Henry!"

Bladewolf lifts Henry up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

"And a Chokeslam to Henry!" JR said.

"Good God!" Jerry exclaimed before the Rock comes up and starts fighting Bladewolf with a fury of rights. "Yes! Get him Rock!"

the Rock keeps up the assault before he runs, bounces off the ropes to do something but ends up running straight into a big boot by the Bladewolf.

"Bladewolf with a big boot!" JR exclaimed.

Bladewolf looks at the ladder before he looks at the Rock then grabs him by the throat, pulls him to his feet before lifting him up... AND CHOKESLAMS HIM ONTO THE LADDER!

"Oh my God! A Chokeslam on the ladder!" JR shouted. "Good God, he's body may have broken in half!"

Bladewolf then spots Triple H and walks over, watching Triple H struggle to his feet. Bladewolf pulls Triple H to his feet before hoisting him onto his right shoulder, positions him in front of him upside down with his arms around his waist... AND HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!

"And a Tombstone to Triple H!" JR said.

"Oh my God, JR, there are bodies everywhere!" Jerry exclaimed as the laid out forms of DX, the Nation, Jeff Jarrett and Southern Justice are shown.

Bladewolf grabs the Rock, hoists him onto his shoulder and... HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! Bladewolf then grabs the Rock and places him over Triple H before leaving the ring as the referee makes the count.

"One!"

"Two!"

"Three! Ring the bell!"

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The Nation's theme plays as Bladewolf continues walking up the ramp, having just cost DX the match but he attacked everyone that had been in his sight, so really he was helping nobody.

Later that night, Triple H would challenge the Bladewolf for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam... in a ladder match, but he;d have to wait on an answer from the Champion himself.
