CHAPTER 6

Dark Mario reappears in the castle's foyer, reporting to Bowser and Ganon.

"I have returned, Master! Luigi is now in our custody!" Dark Mario announces to Ganon.

"Good! Now that Luigi is out of the picture, we'll finally be able to control the entire world!" Bowser says joyfully.

"Silence! False Master!" Dark Mario replies.

"How did you handle the situation with Yellow Toads?" asks Ganon, getting back to the mission.

"I had captured their tribe's leaders, but I was soon outnumbered by Peach, Link, Zelda, and their forces after Boolossus was defeated." Dark Mario regretfully informed his superiors.

"Hmph. Pathetic wretch." Ganon asked, then scoffed. "You should have killed them all!"

"Enough of this!" Bowser yells. "It's time to unleash the true power of my castle!"

"OUR castle!" Ganon interrupts. "We do have some issues now, those rebel forces now have two full pieces of the Triforce on their side." Ganon turns to Bowser "Summon the elderly one". Bowser claps his hand and Kammy Koopa flies down on her broom. "Kammy, inform me where the Green Toads are located. We can still launch attacks on the final three Toad Tribes."

"Master, I've already sent out scouts to locate the last three tribes. However, I believe we shouldn't attack the Green Toads directly. Instead, I believe it would be wiser to send out a secret agent to capture one of the last three tribes."

Ganon raises an eyebrow, "Oh? Who did you have in mind?"

"I believe the best choice would be a certain someone."

"WHO?" Bowser asks.

Kammy points to Bowser "Your Majesty, he's waiting for you in the throne room."

Bowser, Ganon, Kammy, and Dark Mario enter the throne room. A mysterious figure is leaning on the throne obscured by the darkness.

"There he is!" Kammy announces, pointing to the mysterious figure. "Our secret agent!"

"Very good, Kammy!" Bowser says. "Bring him up here!"

"Yes, your lordship!" Kammy replies, flying over to the figure and picking him up and bringing him to the rest of her evil cohorts.

"THIS is our secret agent?!" Bowser scoffs. "What makes us think he'll be trusted among ANY of the tribes?!"

"I assure you, he's trustworthy." Kammy says.

"Very well, we will send our agent to one of the three Toad Tribes." Ganon relents. "We should still send a general to take down the Green Toads however, where are they located?"

"They reside in a village within Yoshi Island. They formed an alliance with the Yoshis." Kammy reports.

"Then I shall send our secret agent there," Ganon nodded. He then turns to Bowser "Well, Bowser, your last general failed miserably. Who do you plan to send to lead the attack on Yoshi Island?"

"I've been thinking about that myself. There are only a few options left. We need to send a different general and have them join our side out of fear, so I'll send the King of the Fire Bros himself! Captain Burnscar!"

Meanwhile Mario and Luigi are still stuck in their cells. "Why does Bowser insist on making me sit here in this cell with nothing but a dirty rag to wipe myself with?!" Luigi complains. "It's disgusting! How the heck am I supposed to wash my face?!

"You know," says Mario. "I think I have a lot more respect for Peach having to deal with this any time she's kidnapped."

"Yeah, I miss Daisy too." Luigi sighs.

"At least we have each other to talk to."

"I can't wait until this is over." Mario says.

"Well hopefully we won't have to wait too long" Luigi says optimistically, "Peach and I already gathered half the Toad Tribes to work with each other to come and rescue us!"

Mario gives Luigi a disapproving look, "Half?! That's pathetic! The real heroes of this war are Peach and I alone!"

"Oh sure, big hero," Luigi mocks. "What have you done since being locked up, bro? At least with Peach she tries and sends help to you! You haven't done anything!"

Mario sits and thinks, wondering what he could do to help Peach. He hears a knock at the door.

"Oh! The guard must have brought dinner!" Luigi says.

The door opens and a guard walks in carrying a tray of food. Mario suddenly gets an idea, he begins pretending to be sick. "Please, let me lie down."

"Nope, sorry." The guard replies.

"Don't you want me to feel better?" Mario asks.

"Not really."

Mario pretends to cough a few times. Luigi catches on, "Oh I don't feel so good either!"

The guard rolls his eyes. He leaves and then returns to give them both some medicine. They thank the guard and lay back down in their beds.

"Thanks for the medicine." Luigi says.

"You're welcome." The guard replies, but as he turns leaves the cell. Mario pulls him back, knocks him out, takes his shell, then locks him inside the cell.

"That worked well." Luigi says.

"Time to get you out of there." Mario says, pulling off his shirt to reveal the Deku Leaf Power Up. "Now it's time to show these guys who's boss!"

Mario unlocks Luigi's cell and the two ride off on the Deku Leaf, however Kammy sees the two riding away on a Deku Leaf and decides to follow them. "Hey, you!" Kammy shouts after them. "Stop right there!"

Kammy fires a spell at Mario and Luigi, blasting them out of the air. They fall from a great height and crash into the ground. "Wow, that is one impressive spell." Luigi remarks before falling unconscious.

"Looks like we're going to have to get a little more serious with you two". Kammy says as she picks up Luigi. "Guards! Bring Mario to Mr. E! I'm going to have some FUN with this one right here!" Kammy laughs as she drags Luigi's body beneath Hyrule Castle..
