Chapter 14: A Gift

Luz and Amity both grunted in pain as they began to stir.

"Vaya, ahora sé lo que se siente tener resaca (Wow, now I know what it feels like to be hungover)." said Luz as she grabbed her forehead. As her vision began to adjust, she realized that they were back at the Owl House. Amity soon woke up and both of them took notice of the people in the room. It was not just Eda, Willow, Gus, Hooty, and King. Hunter was there, but still dressed in his Golden Guard outfit, along with his mask. For some reason, there were eleven human males assembled in the Owl House well.

"Other humans?!" Luz exclaimed

"Who are you people?" Amity asked.

"Allow us to introduce ourselves," Takeshi offered, "I am Takeshi Hongo, Kamen Rider Ichigo."

"I am Hayato Ichimonji, Rider Nigo."

"I'm Shiro Kazami, V3."

"Joji Yuki, Riderman."

"Keisuke Jin, Kamen Rider X."

"Amazon."

"Shigeru Jo, Kamen Rider Stronger."

"Hiroshi Tsukuba, Skyrider."

"I am Kazuya Oki, Kamen Rider Super-1."

"I am Ryo Murasame, Kamen Rider ZX."

"I'm Kohtaro Minami, RX. We are the Riders of the Showa Era, the predecessors of all the Riders of the Heisei and Reiwa Riders."

Luz's jaw dropped. She knew of Kamen Rider Alpha, the first Showa Era Rider of the TV show back in her world, but this was his parallel equivalent. The Rider who began the legacy of her Rider mentor, Wizard.

"Noceda-san, Blight-kun, we've been collecting information on the Shocker Coven all over the Isle." Takeshi explained.

"That's how we found out that they were planning a full-scale attack on the Covens and Emperor Belos," Hayato added, "After consulting with everyone, we've come to help you."

Luz and Amity looked at each other to see if this was really happening.

"It's true, kid," said Eda.

"They also thwarted a lot of assassination attempts on the leaders of the nine Covens," Willow informed.

"And an attempt on the emperor's life," Hunter added.

Gus, meanwhile, was jumping up and down like a kid on a sugar high.

Luz and Amity managed to sit upright and smile gratefully at the Legendary Riders before them.

"We're thankful for your help, and for rescuing us," said Amity.

Takeshi nodded and said, "Unfortunately, the Shocker Coven remains a threat. We require you, the magical Riders of this world, to aid us in ridding this world of Shocker's influence once and for all."

Luz rubbed her left arm and replied, "We'd be honored to help, Amity and I were drained of a lot of our mana. I don't think we can transform in this state. And if we could, we wouldn't be at full power."

"Unfortunately, that last battle I had took a lot out of me as well, so we're not in the best fighting shape," Hunter added.

"That won't be a problem, come with us outside," said Hayato.

The eleven Showa Riders filed out of the Owl House. Amity and Hunter glanced at Luz as if wondering if following them would be the best option. Luz nodded emphatically, she trusted these Riders. Afterwards, she, Hunter, Amity, along with Eda, Willow, Gus, and King, exited the house. Once outside, the Owl House gang watched as all eleven Riders transformed at the same time, a bright light was released and when they next looked, the Showa Riders were in full Rider form. The Showa Riders formed a wide circle but left a gap.

"Now, Noceda-san, Blight-kun, Hunter, please enter the circle and join hands," said Ichigo.

Luz, Amity, and Hunter stood in a triangle formation, Luz grabbed Amity and Hunter's hands without hesitation. There was some reluctance between Amity and Hunter, but after a moment they both put aside that reluctance and held hands. The Eleven Riders surrounded them and placed their right arms over the three.

"Rider Synchro!"

At that moment, all Eleven Riders glowed with the bright light of their power. That same power flowed through Luz, Amity, and Hunter, causing them to transform into Witch, Heka, and Crusader. In their respective Underworlds, La Lechuza and Bast were feeling as though they were supercharged. When their work was done, the Eleven Riders backed away. Witch, Heka, and Crusader were shocked to see themselves in Rider form without having to have used their rings.

"Whoa! What just happened? I feel way stronger than before," said Heka.

"I-I don't get it?! How did you make us transform?!" Hunter asked.

"This is similar to the Rider Harmonize from my world's TV show! It's when the Showa Riders gather together and channel their power to basically perform a small miracle," Witch explained.

"Remember, this supercharge will only last two hours." Ichigo reminded them.

"Here," Riderman said as he presented three blank rings, "these will allow you to cast any spell you want. A gift from your sempai, Noceda-san."

"From Mr. Soma?! Wizard?!"

Witch, Heka, and Crusader were shocked to hear this.

However, an idea suddenly sprang into Witch's head. "Wait, you said these can cast any spell, anything we want?"

"Indeed," Riderman confirmed.

Then that means I could-!

"However," RX interjected, "They will only work one time. Meaning that you will have to be careful on what spell you want to cast."

Witch looked down at the ring in her hand, her idea suddenly becoming less of a likelihood, "Only…one time."

Heka noticed the tonal shift in Witch's voice and was about to say something.

Before any of them could ask questions, an explosion was heard. The fourteen Riders looked up to see a purple smoke cloud zooming across the sky.

"It's heading towards Bonesborough!" Heka exclaimed.

"Riders, let's go!" Ichigo called out, and he then turned to Witch, "Witch!"

"On it!" Witch replied as she slipped on her Connect Ring.

[Connect, Please.]

A portal opened up and the fourteen Riders ran through it. Without a moment's hesitation, Gus started to approach the portal.

"Gus, what are you doing?" asked Willow.

"What, you really think I'm gonna miss this?!" Gus replied as he jumped through the portal with the others reluctantly following suit.
