"My name is Karin. This experience terrifies me to this day. I'm hoping that if I share it, I might be able to move past it."

"It all started when I was left home by myself. My brother was out with his friends, my dumb old man was out of town, and my twin sister went with him. That meant that I had the place to myself. I decided to call my friends over to hang out. While we were trying to figure out what to do, I saw the sun was going down. That gave me the idea to try try the test of courage."

With Karin home all by herself, she decided to call her friends over to do something. They hung out at her house for a while, but she wanted more. With the sun going down, she thought it was a great time to try something called the test of courage.

"The test of courage is a game where you try to walk through a creepy place and try to get a hold of something in there, and make it back. With the shade the sun was, the park got a little creepy. It would have been the perfect setting. Of course, my friends were being total wimps about it, but I managed to talk them into it."

Karin wanted to go out and try this test with her friends, but none of them wanted to. Somehow, she managed to convince them to do that. That might not have been the best idea.

"So, we hurried to the park before it got too dark out. Once we got there, I was able to set everything. All we had to do was walk over to the jungle gym and tie a ribbon around one of the bars. Sounds simple and easy, right? The challenge was actually walking through an eerie looking park."

Karin and her friends were able to make it to the park and she set everything up for that test of courage. Of course, her friends were a little uneasy about doing this.

"Seeing as how my friends were being such babies about this, I decided to go first and show them that it wasn't really all that bad. I took a ribbon and walked right in the park."

She was the only one that didn't have any trouble with this. That's why she went on inside.

"I walked right through the park and there was no problem at all. Once I got to the jungle gym, I tied the ribbon around it and it was done. All I had to do was go back and show them that it was easy. However, just before I went back, I started to hear someone crying. That was rather odd because I thought we were the only ones in the park at the time."

Karin managed to pass the little test, but she heard someone crying. She wasn't expecting that thinking it was just her and her friends out there.

"I looked around to see where the crying was coming from, and it sounded like it was coming from behind some plants. I followed the sound and tried to see who it was. When I found who it was, I was rather shocked and surprised."

Following the sound of the crying, Karin saw who it was. However, she didn't like what she saw.

"It looked like a clown, but he was all black and white. The part that really scared me was that he had a bloody knife in his hands and I saw a dead body right in front of him. This psycho was even crying. What was that about? Luckily, the clown didn't see me. I backed away as quietly as I could and hurried back to my friends. I told them what I saw and told them that we needed to get out of there immediately."

Karin found a creepy clown and saw that he killed someone. Knowing this was dangerous, Karin hurried back to her friends and warned them about what was going on and got out of there thinking the clown didn't see them.

"We just left the park and thought were in the clear, but we weren't. I could hear someone running behind us. I took a look behind us and I saw that crazy clown coming at us with his knife. My friends and I were terrified and we ran for our lives. We didn't dare look back thinking that would only slow us down."

The group thought they were safe, but they heard someone following them. Seeing that clown coming after them with his knife, they all ran as fast as they could. Terrified they were going to get killed, they used that fear to run even faster.

"Thankfully, we all made it back to my place. Once we got there, my brother Ichigo arrived just minutes before we did. We locked up everything and I told him what happened. He grabbed a hold of a baseball bat and took a look outside, but he didn't see that clown anywhere. We called the police and told them what happened."

Karin and her friends were fortunate as they all were able to make it back to her house and lost the clown. It was a good thing her brother was there to help them out. After seeing that clown was gone, they called the police on this matter.

"We told them what we saw and some of them gave my friends an escort home. My brother even got us to spend the night with one of his friends to be safe. The police never caught that clown, but I keep thinking how the whole thing was my fault. If I hadn't gone looking for that crying... If I hadn't decided we go to the park and just stayed home, I never would have put my friends in danger. Those thoughts continue to haunt me, thinking it would have been all my fault if we got killed."
