Good evening,

I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Oxford Not Brogues

Chapter Three

I am both yours forever. Those were the words Seras had used. Something she had vowed to them no less than a week ago. Yours forever. Those words had filled them with such hope, such happiness, but she was a liar.

They had spent their first week together in pure bliss and euphoria. They could hardly keep their hands off of her, even when they weren't in the bedroom. Alucard would automatically pull her onto his lap at the dining table and they would share a glass of blood together. Sebastian was always interlacing his fingers with hers and holding her hand whenever they walked anywhere. She had officially moved into Alucard's room. Her clothes were in his wardrobe and dresser. Her coffin rested beside his. Different makeups and perfumes, her toothbrush, shampoos and conditioners, and bodywash could all be found in his bathroom now. Their little mate even started sleeping regularly with them in Alucard's bed. She seemed genuinely happy. They hardly saw her without a smile that entire week. But then it changed. One night she came to them in the dining hall looking depressed. Alucard and Sebastian attempted to cheer her up, but…nothing. Seras barely even looked at them and she hardly said a word.

They gave her some space, thinking she would emerge from this odd state on her own. But when morning came and her mood hadn't shifted, they considered that maybe they did something wrong. Was Seras mad at them? Instead of retiring to bed, they spent some of the morning trying to talk to her. It stung terribly when she still wouldn't look at either of them. She did attempt to trick them by giving them a smile and assuring them that all was well. But they weren't fooled. They couldn't understand what was going through that head of hers. What was going on that she felt uncomfortable around them? Had they done something wrong? If so, why didn't Seras just tell them? Why didn't she want to talk the issue through? Would it get better or would it only get worse?

"Alucard," Seras whispered before his bride woke him up with a kiss to the throat. The elder vampire stirred from his sleep with a groan of exhaustion. He could sense that it was still early, perhaps around four in the evening. Normally, they got up around six or seven. What was his bride doing up so early? "Alucard," She breathed against his flesh, sending pleasant shivers up and down his spine. She placed another tender kiss on his throat.

"What are you doing up?" Sebastian asked softly with his eyes still closed.

"I couldn't sleep," The little vampire admitted. "I'm sorry about yesterday." Cracking open his eyes, the demon shifted his head to look at her. He was dismayed to see how exhausted his mate looked. There were bags under her eyes and her face was pale. She looked almost sickly. Maybe a good rest and some blood will help make her feel better. Shifting in bed, Sebastian automatically wrapped an arm around her stomach and he pulled her closer to him.

"Go to sleep, Seras." The demon whispered with a warm smile. Seras turned her head to look at him with such a strange sad look in her eyes.

"I don't want to." She breathed. "I want to…be with you guys…physically." The shy little blonde muttered before dropping her gaze. Sebastian's eyes widened in surprise from that unexpected request. Even Alucard shot straight up into a sitting position to give her a bewildered look. "I need you." She begged softly. "Please. I just want to feel…connected with you guys."

"Seras, are you sure?" Alucard asked while he stared at her in uncertainty. Just yesterday, she was so distant and barely even spoke to them. Now, she wanted to be ravished? What happened? Was this her way of trying to make it up to them? But she sounded so…desperate for their touch, like she would die if they didn't have sex with her immediately. His little bride nodded her head frantically to his question.

"Yes," Seras answered. They could have sworn they saw tears start to well in her eyes, but it was hard to tell. "Please, I need to feel your warm bodies and deep kisses. Please. I want to make love." And yet, she didn't say any of this with a smile or formed any type of expression that would indicate she was lustful or even happy. The girl looked downright like she was in mourning. She looked so tired and miserable. Did she think sex would make her feel better? Would it? Perhaps their touch would give her closure for whatever she was feeling or going through? Before either of them could say anything, Seras was already taking charge. So smoothly, she pulled off her top to reveal her large, bare breasts. Throwing the shirt carelessly to the side, she crawled out from under the sheets only to straddle Alucard.

The No Life King's eyes widened from the girl's bold move. His hands, like a magnet, went straight for her hot flesh. He cupped her curvy hips while he stared deep into her solemn red eyes. Normally, Michaelis and him were always the ones making the first move on her. What gave his Draculina the courage to make the first move? What was bothering her so much that she needed their touch? With both hands, his bride latched onto the back of his neck. Her body ever so naturally started moving to help harden him. She lightly rolled her hips to rub up against his soft cock through his pants. Her eyes never left his and he didn't dare look away. Despite that sad look in her eyes, she was enchanting to him; he was completely entranced by her beauty and boldness.

"Seras," Alucard breathed her name while he gazed at her lovingly. However, hearing her name leave his lips only made her frown. Before he could utter another word, Seras bolted down to kiss him on the lips. He didn't hesitate kissing her back with matched hunger. He practically devoured her soft, luscious lips, not wanting to ever part from them. Successfully, his cock started to respond. It twitched as it started to come to life from the constant friction and the feel of her lips on his. Seras moved her hips faster over his cock while giving these sweet little moans of satisfaction. He could already feel the dampness from her panties against his pants. The scent of her arousal permeated around them, driving their senses wild with need. Their mate needed them. She wanted them. And they weren't going to leave this bed until she was fully satisfied and smiling. With a deep, sensual moan, his mate pulled out of their kiss and licked over her lips to further taste him.

"Bite me," She begged him in a whine. Seras then tilted her head back and arched her throat in offering to him. "Bite me, please, Alucard and Sebastian. Cover me from head to toe. Remind me who I belong to. Remind me that I'm yours." Alucard didn't hesitate. With a sharp, ferocious hiss, he buried his fangs in her jugular. His little bride moaned when feeling the blood being sucked from her veins. The feeling was so euphoric that she couldn't help but whine and thrive on top of his lap. "Alucard," The demon wanted to appease his mate. He wanted to cover her in bite marks, like she had asked, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. He couldn't ignore that foreign expression in her eyes that told him that something was bothering her. However, Sebastian was unable to stay away. Doing as his mate had asked, the demon moved in closer. He kept his smoldering red eyes on her as he hesitantly wrapped his fingers around her frail wrist. And then, he sank his teeth into her forearm, giving her an extra dose of pleasure.

They didn't know why their mate ached to feel close to them or why she begged to be fucked and marked. But they did their best to fulfill every little wish she uttered and comfort her to the best of their abilities. Seras was persistent to remind them of how much she loved them. Between every moan or whine, through her heavy breathing, she always whispered 'I love you'. It seemed with every thrust she was whispering those three sweet, little words. While the words were endearing, it worried Alucard and Sebastian greatly. It didn't help at all when several times it looked like she was on the verge of tears. They had stopped regularly to see if they had accidentally hurt her or if she was uncomfortable in any way. But she would just shake her head and softly demand for them to continue. In the end, the males got what they wanted, a smile from their mate.

"Are you sure you're alright, Seras?" Sebastian asked as he cupped the side of her face before placing a kiss between her eyes.

"I feel better." Seras whispered, though the demon could detect that wasn't the full truth. Something was still bothering her, but at least she was smiling now and looking them in the eye. "I really, really do love you guys." Their bride reminded them for the millionth time that night.

"We know," The demon snickered before he placed a kiss on her temple. "We love you too." The smile slowly slipped from her face then.

"Will you always love me?" Their mate was hesitant to ask them. Alucard and Sebastian gave her a peculiar look for such a silly question.

"Yes," The demon chuckled.

"Even in a few decades?" She asked then.

"In a few decades?" Sebastian repeated. That seemed a little specific. What did she mean by that? Why not ask if they would love her after a few centuries? Decades were nothing to them after all.

"Forever, Seras." Alucard chuckled. "Until the very end of time and even after when we're burning in hell. We will always love you." This seemed to have soothed their mate to hear. She gave them a genuine warm smile.

"That makes me feel so much better to hear." She whispered.

"You still look exhausted." Sebastian noted as he brushed her bangs out of her face to stare into her eyes. She looked like she would pass out any minute. "Why don't you get some rest, Seras?" He whispered and he placed one final kiss on her forehead. As if he said the wrong thing, the smile vanished entirely from her face. Such disappointment welled in her eyes and she was quick to look away from him.

"Are you leaving the room?" Seras asked outright, causing Alucard and Sebastian to frown.

"Why do you suddenly have separation anxiety?" The No Life King asked his little queen.

"What's wrong, Seras?" The demon asked while he combed his fingers through her hair. "What's bothering you?"

"Nothing," She muttered, though she kept her eyes solely on the bedding, refusing to look at them. "Do you ever just wish that time would stand still? To be able to stay in a moment for as long as possible?"

"Are you wishing that right now?" Sebastian asked with a sympathetic look. His mate lightly nodded her head.

"I wish time would freeze." Seras whispered.

"We have an absurd amount of time on our hands, my dear." Alucard purred, as if these words were meant to ease her mind. But it didn't. Not even when he leaned in to kiss the bite marks on her throat. "We have centuries. Isn't that enough time?" Seras' lips tightened into a thin line as she thoughtlessly dug her nails into the palm of her hands. At first, the demon thought she was expressing rage. But he knew he was wrong the second he saw moisture glistening from her eyes. She was trying to hold back tears!

"Seras?" Sebastian whispered and he leaned his face in close towards hers. He softly brushed his lips over hers while he lovingly stroked over her cheek. Alucard, on the other hand, was completely oblivious to their bride's current emotion.

"This separation anxiety that you have isn't healthy." The No Life King spoke while he proceeded to kiss her throat and shoulder. "We can't be with you every minute of every day, Seras." Sebastian, however, wasn't convinced that what Seras was experiencing was a separation anxiety disorder. There was something more to this that she wasn't telling them. He knew there was, but he couldn't figure out what.

"I'm tired," Seras whispered before she pulled her face away from Sebastian's hand. "I think that I'll sleep for a bit and…meet up with you guys later." There was no emotion in the tone of her voice. Even her eyes seemed distant.

"I hope you do finally get some rest." Sebastian responded. He wanted to lean in to kiss her, but knew that she wanted her space. Sighing, the demon got up from his spot on the bed while his mate laid down to rest her head on the pillow.

"I'm sorry," Alucard apologized softly when seeing how reclusive she had become after his little comment. "I didn't think before speaking, Seras."

"It's fine, Alucard." The Draculina murmured. "I'm just tired." He stared at her for a moment more, contemplating if he should stay to be…supportive? The elder vampire sighed when not being able to comprehend what his bride was thinking and if she was truly mad at him for what he said. Some things he just didn't understand and didn't know how to fix. He supposed the best solution right now is to leave Seras alone and let her sleep. Maybe she'll feel better after a nap.

"Get some sleep," Alucard whispered before he stood up.

"I love you," Seras repeated once more before they left the room.

"I love you too," Her master responded, filling her stomach with butterflies.

"I love you, Seras." Sebastian breathed, sending pleasant shivers up and down her spine.

That was the last thing Seras said to them before she vanished without a trace. After not hearing from or seeing their little mate all night, Alucard and Sebastian returned to the bedroom only to find a note waiting for them. Laying on Seras' pillow was a paper with her simple, but pretty handwriting that spelled out "I'm sorry". No explanation, no indication of where she had gone, and no word of when she would return. Seras had packed up a few of her clothes and some items, but left most of her stuff. She even left her coffin behind, making them believe that she wanted out of there, away from them, as quickly as possible. Why? What had they done? Seras left without any type of goodbye. And they recalled it. Her saying 'I love you' one final time before they left the bedroom. That was her goodbye.

But why? Why did she leave? Why did she slip away the moment she was out of their eyesight? Had she felt trapped? Were they smothering her? It was the only conclusion they could come to, but even that felt off. How could she have felt trapped or smothered? She was the one who moved into Alucard's room willingly. She was the one who playfully assaulted them by pinching their asses or running her fingers over their groins. She was the one who begged them to ravish her earlier that evening. She was the one who insisted that they stay with her because she wanted time to stand still. What happened? How did a relationship that was going so well end up dying so fast? Where did Seras go? Why did she leave? Will she return?

Alucard and Sebastian gave her time, hoping that she would come back after whatever it was that she needed to figure out. But she didn't. Days rolled by without a word from her. Alucard tried reaching out through their mindlink, but she had blocked him completely. It wasn't until Seras was absent for an entire week did they finally let the rage consume them. How could their mate leave them? Hadn't she said that she loved them? She had vowed that she would be theirs for an eternity! Had she been lying to them from the start? How?! Why?! They had warned her from the start that if she entered a relationship with them, she was theirs. Did she honestly believe that they were just going to let her walk away without at least giving an explanation? If she hated their guts, then fine! She can at least have the guts to tell them that to their faces instead of just walking out like a coward!

"Find Seras!" Alucard roared as he slammed his hand down hard on the dining table. Every single person that lived in that manor was called to the dining hall. The table was packed tightly and those who couldn't sit were standing. Everyone showed a clear sign of discomfort and fear. They kept their heads lowered in a submissive manner while he barked his orders. It was clear to everyone there that Alucard and Sebastian were not taking Seras' disappearance well. The monsters were practically seething. The No Life King's sharp, monstrous teeth were gritted so hard that they looked like they would shatter at any moment. His eyes were hellish as they burned so darkly in his sockets. Sebastian's hair seemingly had a mind of its own as it moved as if there was a gust of wind blowing it. His enlarged shadows whipped around on the floor and walls. His abnormal shadows morphed into horrifying creatures that looked like they were screaming.

"And what shall we do if one of us finds her?" A man asked. The man, too afraid to look at either monsters, kept his eyes locked on the table. Though, he did show his displeasure in this particular order by sneering.

"Do you want us to drag her back here?" Another man asked.

"No!" Sebastian answered before Alucard could. He gave a withering glare to the man who suggested such a thing. "If any of you lay a hand on her, I will personally put you permanently in your grave!"

"If you find her, inform us!" Alucard added. "Now, go! No one shall rest until she is found!" Without another word, his followers left to do his bidding. "Damn it!" The No Life King roared as he hunched over the table. His body trembled with fury. Without his knowledge of it, he was breathing so heavily and letting out spurts of growls. "No one walks out on me! No one! Not even Seras! I won't allow it!" His fierce eyes shone with pure insanity and rage. "Why would she leave us?!"

"We will find her, Alucard, and then she will have some serious explaining to do." Sebastian responded coolly, though his eyes gave away how angry he truly was.

"It doesn't make sense!" The elder vampire shouted while baring his fangs. He placed his pounding head in his hand and buried his fingers in his hair. It wasn't long before he was fisting his hair tightly. "Seras has been by my side for nearly a century! She's seen me at my worst and still followed me around like a little puppy dog! We show an ounce of love and she flees! Why?!" Alucard then slid his fingers from his hair. Lifting his head, he stared intently at the demon. "You would know. Was Seras lying to us from the start? Was her saying that she loves us just a ruse?" Sebastian sighed through his nose when being asked this.

"No," The demon answered. "Every word she spoke, every vow she made, was genuine. The only time Seras lied was when she told us nothing was bothering her."

"Then where did it all go wrong?! What happened?!" Alucard snarled.

"Perhaps she's in some sort of trouble." Sebastian considered.

"We could have offered her help!" The elder vampire retorted. "We would have torn apart anyone who was making her feel at unease! We would have slaughtered anyone for her!"

"And what if we were the ones making her feel uncomfortable?" The demon questioned. "Maybe she left because of us."

"I'm so angry." Alucard hissed while he glowered at the table. "I fear what I'll do once we find her." But he already knew the answer to that. He knew the minute he found her and saw that she was safe, all this anger would melt away. He wanted nothing more but for his mate to be safe in his arms. He would then kiss her deeply on the mouth and hope that she had forgiven him for whatever he did to upset her. Feeling completely defeated and exhausted from constant worry for the past week since her disappearance, Alucard dropped his head into his hand and closed his eyes. "What if something happens to her, Michaelis? Or what if…she never comes back?"

"We'll find her, Alucard." Sebastian promised softly. "We'll find her no matter how long it takes."

"She doesn't want to be found!" Alucard snapped. "She ran from us!" Knowing that his mate, the one that was made for him, was sickened by the sight of him made his heart throb in pain. "How could she have done this to us? After all that she promised? After all the years she spent with us? How could she just leave like that without even saying goodbye?"

"It's not like her." The demon agreed. "Which is why I think Seras is in some sort of trouble." For the first time in days, Sebastian smiled. "I don't think she ran because of us, Alucard. I think that's the least of our worries. Remember, Seras repeatedly told us how much she loved us the last day we saw her. She wouldn't stop repeating it because she wanted us to know how much she loved us. She even admitted how badly she wanted to freeze time and stay with us right then at that moment. Seras left for her own reasons; she didn't leave because of us." Alucard peeked at the smiling demon from the corner of his eye. But he was far from feeling assured.

"I hope you're right, Michaelis." The exhausted vampire whispered.

"Let's see if she left any clues of where she might've gone." Sebastian snickered. "I have serious doubts that our mate tied up every loose end."

Unfortunately, Alucard and Sebastian had no such luck. The night she disappeared, their bride had cut up her debit card and took all of her money from the bank before closing the account. Having done this, they have no idea where she went; if she was still in Bucharest, if she stayed in a hotel, or if she bought an airplane or train ticket. She could be anywhere. Sebastian searched the garbage in hope that she left something behind, anything that would tell them what she was thinking or where she planned on going. But there was nothing there either. Alucard searched the things she left behind, but found nothing that she could have been hiding from them. They even interrogated everyone who lived in the manor, wondering if someone spoke to the Draculina the day she vanished. However, when someone got wind that Alucard and Sebastian were interrogating people, she fled the manor. The second they learned that a woman by the name of Alana Foster ran before she could be interrogated, the monsters hunted her down. Unlike Seras, this woman didn't get far.

Grabbing her by the throat, Sebastian lifted her off the ground only to slam her back hard against a brick building. Alana struggled in his grasp, but barely put up a fight. She whimpered and cried, but it was hard to see those tears with rain running down her face. It was storming hard. The wind whistled like crazy while lightning struck somewhere nearby. The three monsters were soaked to the bone. Sebastian's hair stuck to his face, but he hardly cared as he gazed at the thriving woman with dark red eyes.

"Where is Seras?!" The demon asked, his tone told her that he was greatly impatient. It's been ten days now since he last saw Seras and he was really starting to worry that they will never find her. They already searched most of Bucharest, all the hotels, and even some neighboring towns. Either the Draculina was very thorough and managed to erase the mind of anyone she came in contact with these last few days. Or nobody has truly seen her. In which case, where was his mate?! Why had she suddenly fallen off the face of the earth? It was like she didn't exist!

"I don't know!" Alana sobbed. He knew that she was telling the truth. He could see it in her eyes and hear it in her voice, but he wasn't fully convinced that she didn't know anything.

"Then why would you run unless you have something to hide?!" Alucard raised his voice. "Where is she?!"

"I don't know!" The woman repeated. "She didn't tell me!"

"Then you did speak to her?" Sebastian questioned. "When?!"

"The day before she disappeared." Alana answered without hesitating. Something sparked in the demon's eyes. The day before Seras disappeared? That was the day Seras started acting funny!

"What did you discuss?" The demon asked next.

"I told her the truth!" The woman admitted. Even though fear glistened so clearly in the woman's eyes, she held eye contact with the demon.

"The truth?" The demon repeated with furrowed brows. "What are you talking about? What did you tell her?"

"I told her the truth about you! About the both of you!" Alana proceeded boldly. She then gave them a defiant look. "I told her to get out while she still could!" Sebastian's hand tightened around her throat, causing the girl to cry out in pain. Her eyes snapped shut as he began to choke her.

"What do you mean?!" The demon asked through gritted teeth while he glowered at her. "Seras always knew the truth! She knows who we are! She knows what we've done! She loves us!"

"She…didn't…know…everything." Alana fought to get those words out. Alucard's gaze narrowed dangerously on her then.

"What did you tell her?" The No Life King asked softly, though his eyes threatened to rip her to shreds.

"The truth," The woman repeated.

"What could you possibly know about us that our mate doesn't?!" Sebastian yelled as he crushed her windpipe.

"Michaelis, we can't get answers if you strangle her. Keep a firm grip, but loosen up a little." Alucard demanded. The demon trembled in fury and was hesitant to obey. But eventually, he loosened his grip, allowing the worthless being to gasp for air.

"What did you tell her? What nonsense did you fill our bride's head with?" Sebastian asked as calmly as he could.

"Even if I did know where she is, I wouldn't tell either of you." Alana announced.

"What did you tell her?!" The demon asked once more.

"She needed to get away; far away. Where you can't hurt her." The woman proceeded, completely ignoring the question she was being asked. "I'm glad she listened. It would have been tragic what you two would've done to her if she had stayed."

"What are you talking about?!" Sebastian completely snapped. Before he even really knew it, he was squeezing her throat so hard that her face was turning purple. Her bloodshot eyes were practically popping right out of her head and blood leaked from the corner of her mouth. But he was too furious to care what state she was in. "We would have never laid a finger on her! We would have never hurt our mate! How could you manipulate her into believing that we would?! Why would she listen to you?!"

"She…couldn't…risk it." Alana choked these words out.

"Seras knows what we're capable of." Alucard growled. "She had witnessed it more than once. If she was truly scared, she would have left decades ago!" Something Alucard said caused the demon to gasp. Decades ago?! Sebastian thought to himself as he looked at the elder vampire in astonishment. Seras had said something about that! "But she stayed! She followed me because she trusted me implicitly! It doesn't make sense why that trust would suddenly be gone! There has to be more to this that you're not telling us!"

"Can you truly blame her for finally coming to her senses and being scared of monsters?" The woman questioned them. Those words cut deep. The demon's head snapped to the side to glower Alana for saying such a thing. "We've all heard the stories. We know what you two have done. Seeing it firsthand is probably what drove Seras to trust me entirely; to heed my warning and get out! She was afraid of becoming one of your many infamous stories!" Alucard and Sebastian stood there silently for a moment while her words sunk in. Seras did leave…because of them? She was afraid of them? Saw them as monsters? And she fled because…she feared they would eventually hurt her? How could their mate think that? How could she not understand that they loved her more than anything in this world? They would do anything for her. Give her anything her little heart desires. Worship the very ground she walked on. They would never, ever harm a single hair on her head. So…why would she flee? Why would she listen to this complete stranger and leave them? Was she truly afraid of the stories? Was she truly afraid they would kill her?

Alucard and Sebastian were wounded after learning why their mate had fled. It sickened them now knowing the fear that was festering inside of Seras. How could she feel that way towards them? They have done nothing to show her that they would ever do anything despicable to her. How could she think that? What story did she hear that made her believe that they would hurt her? Or perhaps it was more than one story? Or maybe it was her bearing witness to some of those horrific stories? The gears turned in their heads, but they still couldn't figure out why she would flee after almost a century of living with them. Why would she profess her love to them and make promises to them only to end up leaving? It didn't make sense. It had something to do with that melancholy day when she stopped smiling, but Alucard and Sebastian didn't have an answer to what exactly happened that day that soured her mood.

"You don't know where she is?" Sebastian asked softly as he stared at Alana in anguish.

"No," The woman stated, telling him the absolute truth.

"Seras gave no hint of where she might've gone?" Alucard asked immediately afterwards. Alana looked at the two in mild fascination.

"You're still going after her?" The woman asked. "Even knowing that she's afraid and doesn't want to see you?"

"She's our mate." Sebastian reminded her. "How can we just let her go?"

"She may not want to see us, but she does owe us an explanation. If she doesn't want to be with us, then fine. She can at least break it off with us in a proper manner instead of just running out without a word." The No Life King added.

"A woman wants out of a relationship, but her jealous, possessive boyfriends do everything in their power to get her back." Alana retorted. "I guess I shouldn't have expected any chivalrous acts from monsters. It sickens me how trapped that poor girl was. I wouldn't be surprised to learn if you had hypnotized her into loving you." The demon snapped the vampire's neck.

"She wasn't trapped." He growled through gritted teeth. "We would never entrap her."

"But we will find what is ours and try to undo the mess you made." Alucard spoke while he pierced the woman with his dark eyes.

"Whatever it takes or however long it takes. We will find her." Sebastian added sharply. Those words spoken were like a wake up call for the elder vampire. Suddenly, a grin graced Alucard's lips and he couldn't help but chuckle.

"A game," He purred while his crimson eyes sparkled with lust and amusement. "Yes, it's one giant game. We accept her challenge. We'll hunt her down and if we find her, she shall be our prize for all of eternity."

"Alucard?" The demon murmured as he looked back at the No Life King with a stunned look.

"It has to be a game, Michaelis. There is no other reason why Seras would leave. It just wouldn't make sense. She's playing with us." Alucard proceeded on, looking more and more enthralled by the second. "Let's see if Seras can truly outrun us."

"I'm not so sure that it is a game." Sebastian sighed as he finally dropped the unconscious vampire. The woman landed in a heap on the ground. "I really believe Seras doesn't want to be found by us."

"Why? She admitted her love to us and she vowed to be ours for an eternity. You said it yourself that she wasn't lying when she promised us that." The elder vampire reminded him. "It has to be a game. I refuse to believe otherwise."

"I think you've officially gone insane, Dracul." The demon responded, looking displeased by Alucard's sick fantasy. "If this is truly a game, how long does she plan on running and hiding?" He indulged the No Life King, hoping he realizes how ridiculous it sounded.

"As long as necessary; until we find her!" Alucard cackled. "My fledgling, my beautiful mate, she knows just what I like! She knows how much I love the hunt! And I will take great pleasure hunting her down! Our reward will be mating with her! She can't outrun us, Michaelis! She can't hide forever! We will find her! We will conquer!" The demon clenched his fists and gritted his teeth at the foolish, stupid king.

"And what if we find her and she still doesn't want us, Alucard?!" Sebastian raised his voice. "Seras ranaway! She's hiding because she doesn't want to be found by us! If you think this is all some stupid game, what do you think you're going to do when you find her and she's not the prize because she doesn't want us?! Do you plan on raping our mate, Alucard?! Because I won't just standby as you 'claim' your prize!" All amusement drained from Alucard's eyes only to be replaced with vexation. He glared at the demon for ruining this for him; for trying to take away his hope about Seras' feelings for them.

"If we find her and she doesn't want us, then we'll leave her alone." Alucard promised him softly. "I love her, Michaelis. I would never hurt her. But how else am I supposed to cope with the fact that my Draculina may not only fear me, but hate me? This has to be a game otherwise…is there really any other point to live if the only person I love in this world despises me? Seras must be playing with us. Or maybe she really is in trouble and needs our help. But I refuse to believe that she left because she hates us." The elder vampire glanced down at Alana who was still lying unconscious on the ground. "We need to find Seras, Michaelis. Once we do, we'll talk to her. Nothing more and nothing less. If her mind changes at all and she wants to come home with us, then we'll collect our prize happily."

"Unfortunately, she was telling the truth." Sebastian whispered as he stared down at the unconscious body at their feet. "She doesn't know where Seras is."

"Then our only hope is that someone else does. We'll interrogate the rest of the manor and then we'll start asking more questions around Bucharest. Someone has to have seen her." Alucard responded.

"Probably best to start checking the airports and train stations. There's a good chance she's heading back to London." The demon suggested. He then smirked to try and reassure the No Life King who still looked utterly defeated. "We'll do everything in our power to get her back."
