Toshinori walked through the halls of his alma mater his large paces making sure he'd arrive at the meeting on time even with his leisurely pace.

He'd been hoping to enjoy his now limited time being a hero but his daring deeds were put on hold when Nezu informed him he was needed elsewhere. Not wanting to go against his future employer Toshinori found himself in one of UA's meeting rooms .

He wasn't alone thankfully so it wasn't another meeting about how he needed to find a successor. He'd grown tired of them even when he told himself they did it for his own good . His successor would be chosen but by him alone just like his master had done .

That begged the question though why was he hear . He had nothing against Aizawa and Kayama but they didn't interact with each other too often . Predictably it was Nezu being crafty .

" I have a guest coming to UA and my limited meetings have shown them to be quite rash . With you two here he won't be getting any ideas ."

" And I'm here because ….."

" Well Gideon is quite the analyst, I assume he's prepared for these things . So if they fail we have you on stand by ."

Oh that made sense .

" He also mentioned he was an ally to you and knows about your true form so you needed to be here anyway ."

Nothing makes sense anymore .

" Of course the oaf would be the center of our problems ."

" Now Now Shouta this is All Might we're talking about I'd be more surprised if trouble didn't follow him everywhere."

Before Toshinori could retort Nezu received news on his apparent ally .

" Uhh sir he's here ."

" You don't sound sure . Did he mess up the code?"

" No he said it perfectly its just … look through the cameras sir ."

Pulling it up for all of them to see , Toshinori and the others found that they had quite the interesting guest . Kayama was especially surprised .

" Midoriya ?"

Time Travel . Honest to God time travel. Even though his future student had told him of the limitations Nezu still felt immense pride in the discovery. It warmed his heart to see his students go plus ultra to the point where even the confines of science wouldn't stop them .

Unfortunately it was bittersweet, the news of the future was grim and he could see Midoriya getting crushed under expectations , whether those expectations be from others or himself.

He'd given them a chance now it was up to them to make the most of it .

Kayama and Aizawa are probably questioning reality , they didn't even know One for All existed before this .

Never mind that he wondered how Toshinori was doing , talking to a successor he hasn't even chose yet must be quite the experience.

" You know it wasn't your – "

" I know but ….I need to say it anyway ."

His future- no just his successor looked him in the eyes his face the picture of determination. In that moment he knew this boy was his successor no matter the time bullshit .

" This time I won't fail ."

"This time we won't fail . We're a team now ."

Izuku smiled it was encouraging even if it reminded him of Nezu's latest plan .

XXX Flashback to the actual meeting XXX

" You want me to be a teaching assistant ."

Out of all the things he was expecting this was not one of them . Classic Nezu it seems .

" Rather clever isn't it Midoriya ?"

Just because it's clever doesn't mean it's not crazy ! I'm still only mentally sixteen .

" Bordering on a mental seventeen which is good enough for me ."

Damn you mumbling .

" There's no point enrolling you as a first year Problem Child -"

" Why Problem Child !? I've done ….. never mind please continue."

" Your basically a third year experience wise , you still have a lot to learn but moving you up two years would look suspicious."

" Plus all the events that are important happen to the first years so the only way to have you there while still teaching you is to have you work as a teaching assistant and have you learn part time ."

" Exactly Kayama I'm glad you agree. Do you accept Midoriya."

" I best be going then my mother's going to want to hear about my knew job ."

" Excellent I'll call you when I have the details."

It felt surreal being back at UA , sure there were some issues and he got here earlier than expected but that didn't matter. He was here now with allies and his mentor by his side , all of them ready to fight alongside him . That's not to say he wasn't going to be extra prepared just in case .

" All Might you said you still had some time left ."

" Only about half an hour or so. Why do you ask Young Midoriya ?"

However no one said he couldn't enjoy himself while doing it .

" You wanna spar ?"

He'd always wanted to say that .
