Thanks MisAleksa I knew that Kelly's point of view was difficult to understand and that it would make you angry but she had one, and maybe she felt don't be the same person, she do not want to see herself in the mirror of the past . Thank you for your rewiew

London

"I won't change my show because Kelly is unhappy" Brenda looked pretty nervous as she walked back and forth with the cordless in her hands.

Dylan could only hear her speech and not Brandon's part but he could clearly warn that the tones were rising.

"Oh but of course don't get in the way... after all I'm your sister... twin.. of course I'm playing the twin card.. as usual Brandon... no, I'm not unfair. Listen, the show it's already on stage... and it's successful as it is.. they want it as it is... we just need it... yes Dylan is here.." Brenda glanced at Dylan's interlocutory gaze and she shook her head. Kelly would not give permission. She didn't sign.

Brenda hung up after hastily greeting her brother. She threw the cordless on the couch and threw herself sitting next to Dylan.

'So now?'

"He didn't ask her for anything, he says we should talk to her about it, and clarify."

"It's not wrong."

"He also said, Brenda, filmed, "that Kelly wants to change her part, which is not good, do you realize? The show is fine as it is."

"Maybe we should have talked to her about it earlier," Dylan tried.

"Seriously? Seriously Dylan? So, do we have to ask Kelly for permission for everything? I want to go to dinner with JT call Kelly ask her.."

"Brenda you are overreacting," Dylan suggested.

She was enraged but it didn't take long to realize that it was true. She was overreacting.

"She wants to review her part, you know?"

"Maybe we could just listen, maybe are good suggestions."

"I don't care about her suggestions." Brenda crossed her arms "we are in a dead end, neither forward nor backward, and then what should she suggest to me, you were here on purpose to give me the point of view of that story; either she is not honest, or you were not honest Dylan."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you didn't say a single word in opposition, yet you saw and reviewed the script, her part, yours."

"The show and creation is your Brenda. I just helped you achieve what you wanted. Because I wanted us to do something together, it never occurred to me to correct a single line even if the truth had been turned upside down."

"The truth," smiled Brenda sarcastically, "it's funny that you talk about the truth."

Dylan was irritated "I don't want to fight with you all day. Does Kelly want to talk to us? Let's go to Los Angeles to talk to her. I don't understand your stubbornness."

"I'm not going to change the play."

"Then she won't sign" Dylan closed in an annoyed tone.

"Why do you take her side?"

"I don't take her side Bren, I just say that instead of getting stuck, since we have this huge chance, maybe we could consider finding a solution halfway."

Halfway, as Iris had suggested a million years earlier. Strange how the sentences randomly come back.

Dylan diverted Brenda's thought "I have to go back to Los Angeles anyway. I want to take Sammy on vacation, I wish you could come with me."

"Where do you want to take him?"

"In Ecuador. I wish he would meet the guys and spend some time together."

Brenda laughed and quickly got up from the couch "Kelly will never let you. Amazing we need Kelly's permission for everything."

"Brenda..."

"Did you ask her?"

"Not yet."

"Ugh. I want to be there when you ask her."

"I am the father"

"Yeah," she said in a more submissive tone than Dylan immediately noticed.

"I had thought about talking to Brandon," he suggested.

Brenda smiled even more as she put water on the fire "yes why not."

"You're too hard on your brother. It's not easy for him either."

"I know," she hissed.

"It's normal for him to look for a middle ground. He doesn't want to lose Kelly but neither want to lose you, and anyway to be honest Bren, it is not his responsibility."

"I know that too, it's just that.." Brenda had the kitchen knife twirled for air "it upsets me."

"Could you put that thing down?" Dylan told him laughing.

"You're right to be afraid," Brenda laughed as well.

"Anyway tonight I'll call. They should be at the beach. Your brother told me they took a cabin at the beach club. Everyone."

"What memories."

"Yeah."

"My father also always took one and then dropped me there," Dylan said sadly.

"That's not the case for Sammy."

"No, of course not, everyone is there, there is Kel."

Sometimes Brenda was tender about the way Dylan's childhood re-emerged and brought him back. An childhood so different from hers. Diametrically Opposite. Was this what had united him to Kel? Or absurdly was it the exact opposite? For her and Dylan having two different insities was what made them click like two different electrical outlets?

There was no answer.

"Try to talk to Kel. See what she tells you and if you want we can go to Ecuador together. With Sammy," Brenda surrendered.

"Seriously?"

"I doubt she will give you consent. But the five dates of the show in London are over. I have other things to write. We can also switch to Fox which coincidentally is in L.A."

Brenda smiled "why not."

Los Angeles

The Beach Club had been renovated a lot but the sparkling Californian summers had kept the same light of years, probably millions of years earlier.

Kelly and Donna rested in the shade of a well-ly positioned palm tree facing the sea.

Maddy and Sammy were playing a little further, while a candid Ethan was taking the afternoon nap.

"That's amazing," Kelly sighed.

"Is the job off?"

"I don't quite have summer courses to follow, but otherwise I want to enjoy the sea, the beach, Sammy" interrupted a moment smiling "and all that will come".

Donna was surprised how Kelly's face had changed shape. Had the musculature relaxed, a beauty that came from the light. Not the sunny one. Something that came from inside.

"You?" Kelly asked.

"I'm preparing the new sketches. I can do it in the time clippings. The great thing about this job is that you can do it anywhere."

'Hi girls!'

"Dr. Zuckerman," Kelly exclaimed.

Andrea had arrived dragging Hannah behind who was cheating on the usual mood.

"Hi Hannah"

"Hello," she said softly. She put on a pair of dark glasses and sat in the shade listening to music.

"Isn't she great?" Andrea smiled with irony.

"There's Maddy too," Andrea noted, "Where is Steve?"

"He went to get a drink at the bar with David."

"I can't believe we're all here, well almost everyone," Andrea exclaimed, taking a big happy sigh, "returning from Florida was the best thing I could do."

"Brandon hasn't shown up yet," Kelly said.

'Is he working?' Donna asked.

"Work, work, work," Kelly repeated, "had promised to be here more than an hour ago."

"Well, here we are," Donna concluded.

"Ah there are other beautiful girls," Steve said back with a tray of fresh drinks.

"They hired you Steve? I'm happy" laughed Andrea.

"Ah ah.." Steve replied, "they would make a big purchase, do you want anything?"

"No, maybe later," Andrea smiled.

David also sat down with them. A really nice quiet afternoon.

"How's it going with Maddy?" Andrea asked tenderly.

"Well," Steve laughed, "she's getting used to it. I spend a lot of time with her. Janet doesn't resist this, on the contrary, being freer makes her feel better. Mind you, she's a great mother, and I love her, and I love being able to spend as much time as I want with Maddy. My girl. That's fine."

"I know, it was hard for me and Hannah too. When we got to the divorce it was a real personal failure, the feeling that it was all over. That I invested my years badly. But that's not really the case. They have been beautiful years. Part of what I am," Andrea said. The two looked at each other with tenderness. With the understanding of who was walking a road and who had traveled it.

Maddy approached at that moment and snapped a kiss on her father's cheek.

"I want nails like Hannah," he told him. Black polish.

"Ohh! No no," Steve replied, "I don't think your mother would approve."

"But mom isn't there."

Donna, Kelly and Andrea watched Steve try to deal with little Maddy. That little girl With bright eyes and the prompt answer.

"Yes," Steve replied, "but then she will be there and I don't want to be scolded."

Maddy turned to the girls present "mom always scolds him".

"We know Maddy" all three smiled.

"So can I?"

Steve didn't know what to answer pressed by his daughter that way. As far as he was concerned, she could also go dressed on the beach as a Clown... everything would have been fine with him. She just loved spending time with her and wanted to make her happy.

"She can put it on and take it off at the end of the day," Hannah said suddenly intrigued by the scene "I have the remover"

"Do you have that?" Steve asked.

Hannah nodded yes with her head.

"But yes what could happen.."Steve replied cheerfully.

Maddy ran happily to Hannah who strangely liked that little girl. She was direct. She was a kind of more colorful of her.

She pulled out what was necessary and began to pass the black nail polish brush over Maddy's little nails looking at her fascinated.

As they proceeded, Steve held an eyebrow raised and supervised the work.

"Mom," Hannah said out loud, "did you remember to send those documents back to Brenda? You asked me to remind you."

True, she had asked her, but Hannah had also heard a conversation between her and Donna on the phone, in which they said Kelly didn't know anything about it and that they wanted to wait for Brandon or Dylan, or Brenda to talk to her. She sensed from Kelly's expression that she didn't know anything about it yet. Small games as a teenager. She was having fun. It's not that she didn't like her mother's friends, but she liked Miami more. Her school there, her friends there. She dressed in black to protest a world that didn't want her.

"What documents?" Kelly asked.

"Ah nothing" Andrea tried to belittle but couldn't deflect "for Brenda's show. They needed our permission because the show is freely inspired from our lives."

"I haven't received any mail."

"Maybe they want to talk to you about it in person," Steve tried to hypothesize.

"Brandon ..I suppose he is aware of this thing" Kelly was evidently upset.

"We don't know," David tried to justify Brandon, electrocuted by Kelly's gaze.

"Did you know that?" She turned to Donna.

She made a little laugh.

"Kel, you didn't take the show well and they wanted to tell you in person," said Andrea, "that's all. First clarify and then get angry if any."

Kel nodded "I guess that's how it is."

At that moment Brandon arrived, in a suit and tie. Sweaty, tired.

"Hi guys."

"Congratulations good swimsuit," Steve laughed.

"Thank you," Brandon smiled, "sorry I was late, I'm going to change."

"Brandon can I talk to you for a moment?" Asked Kelly immediately as he was loosening his tie.

Everyone looked at each other with the grimaces of trouble in sight.

Kelly got up and made her way to Brandon towards the cabin.

"What happened?" Asked B looking at the others left who shrugged.

"But nothing" laughed Donna "go..".

And everyone barely looked him in the eye. Maddy intercepted Brandon before he came back.

"Do you like My nails Brandon?" He took a look at Maddy's shiny, black nails.

"Amazing, does your mother know?" Brandon asked her

"No. Dad gave me permission"

"Ohh really?," he replied with a laugh.

Then he looked at Steve " Good."

"She's going to take it off before the evening." Said Steve.

"Eh no, I don't think so," Hannah said, "I think I had remover , but I didn't bring it," she discovered looking inside the bag.

"What?" Steve panicked.

Brandon patted him on the back and laughed.

"Don't you have to go? Kelly is waiting for you," Steve mimited him.

Brandon laughs even more.

Sammy watched Brandon walk away and asked Hannah where her mother was.

"She is in the cabin, so is Brandon they don't want to be disturbed," she replied to him under the eyes of a Maddy who made a mischievous pout. Sammy understood and stared at the cabin.

When he entered the cabin Kelly had a harsh expression.

"What happened?" Brandon asked.

"Why didn't you tell me about Brenda's permission?"

Brandon had no idea how she had learned of it but he could count on one hand at the bottom they were all out there.

He permanently took off his jacket and tie, unbuttoned his shirt.

"Because she'll talk to you about it and because I didn't want you to think I came back to ask you for a damn signature."

"Isn't that so?"

Bran took off his pants and threw them on the dine "no. It's not like that," he said harshly.

"Sorry I was unfair."

"It doesn't matter" Brandon shook his head grabbing the costume "do you mind if I take a shower while we talk? I'm dying of heat."

"No, go ahead."

Brandon undressed completely and slipped into the shower.

"Exactly what kind of authorization is it?"

Brandon stuck his head under the breath of water and brought immediate relief from it and then pulled it out to answer "it's to protect the show from any legal claims of ours."

"Isn't it necessary in Gran Brentagna?"

"I don't think so" he closed the water and went out. Kelly handed him the towel that he slipped into his waist.

"Brenda and Dylan want to talk to you about it in person. They want to listen to your reasons."

"Really?"

"That's what I told him. That I didn't want to be put in the way and that you had to solve it."

"And what did Brenda tell you?"

"She got angry," Brandon replied, leaning the towel and sticking the costume under Kelly's eyes, "Dylan understood luckily."

This gave Kelly a minimum of satisfaction.

Brandon approached her kissing her and wrapping himself in her body in a lilac costume "I don't want to argue with you about it. Okay?"

"Okay," she said.

He reiterated it "now can we go and have fun?"

"Yes."

They reunited with the others.

"You got away with little," Steve whispered to him.

"Better you when Janet sees Maddy's nails," Brandon replied.

An afternoon of laughter, soft drinks with an umbrella, iced beer, splashes in the water. They were all involved. No one excluded. The children had a lot of fun even Hannah smiled a lot every now and then.

Please rewiew I need to know what you think to keep writing.. what do you think about the story? Where do you think it will take us?
