New Orleans

The battle isn't going well, I'm back up to my full strength but nothing we're doing seemed to be working and Woody is getting stomped down there by Bohu, while Touhu destroys the city and helps kick Woody's ass, and I'm frustrated because nothing I do seems to work. All the powers I have and I have nothing.. .I breathed out a sigh of frustration. I needed to think, I pulled on my Thinker powers, switching out some invulnerabilty. Now I knew were her core was. I could still fly, still blast and... I could combine the powers, make them into a greater whole.

Why... right I didn't pull on the Thinker powers, I searched through my powers and found something that would create a beam that would really hurt, but it wasn't enough I had to remember what Woody said, go conceptual, don't fight harder, fight smarter. I found something that fit that but I would lose the power of flight.

"Legend, I'm about to do some hing really stupid."

"Please don't."

"I have to, just catch me when I fall."

I flew into the air high and then cut out the flight, I brought in the power. It was built around piercing things on a level I couldn't quite grasp, it was also energy intensive. Really energy intensive, my Thinker power said that just one blast was going to go through a 5th of my reserves, but this was the strongest power combination I was going to get. I started falling, I waited, Touhu was distracted, not paying attention and good, Woody had them frozen in place. I think he got the message.

The blast hit and Touhu fell, I... I did it, after years, no more then a decade of battles I, I finally did it. Endbringer down, Endbringer down, I felt happy, ecstatic and.

"Got ya."

Legend held me up and flew away.

"Great job man."

I watched Bohu scream in rage and start brutalizing Woody, not noticing the sunflowers growing on his back.

"I..."

"Let someone else have some fun, ok?"

I shrugged and watched as the world turned into an inferno, and then the second message went through.

"Endbringer down."

Two kills in a single day, it... it was a miracle. The French corner hadn't been touched and I could already see a massive line heading to every liquor store in town.

"It's going to be one hell of a party."

My friend chuckled and let me down on a undamaged roof top, the city... the city wasn't in good shape. It would take a while to get rid of all the traps, to fix all the damage, but we won, and New Orleans was an important city. It would be rebuilt. I watched as Woody started healing all of the injured people, and I felt a sense of pride.

"Feels good."

Alexandra landed on the roof top and smiled, Hero was next to her and he stared at the corpses.

"Two more worlds for humanity."

I blinked.

"What?"

"You remember Woody's statement right? Right there, that's a couple of new planets for the human race."

I blinked.

"That's... wow it's a lot to take in."

The war had changed things but sometimes I forgot by how much, I smiled and looked up at the sky.

"We're comming for you."
