A songfic! (At least, I think it's one?) Oddly enough, it was one that was inspired by this one scene in the handsmaids tale (yeah, I know) between this mother and daughter and it was so sweet so I wanted to create a similar one with Naru and Kyo. Hope you like it!

Ah-I do have to warn you tho: beware of tooth-rotting fluff. I advise making an appt with the dentist if you decide to proceed.

I Only Want To Be With You

Sasuke thought he heard something as he entered his home, and paused, cocking his head.

It was a lilting sound, muffled, but sweet. He strained to listen, taking a few steps toward the direction of the sound.

"…I never knew that I could be in love like this…"

A pleasant, melodic voice.

"…It's crazy but it's true,

I only want to be with you…"

Padding softly, Sasuke crept forward. As he did so, one more sound joined the first. Coos of a happy baby.

"…I don't know what it is that makes me love you so,

I only know I never wanna let you go…"

He found Naruto sitting on the bed in the master bedroom, swaying with Kyo propped up on her knees.

"…'Cause you've started something,

oh, can't you see…?"

She was smiling—a smile so beautiful, so soft—rubbing her nose against Kyo's. Kyo was giggling, rubbing his little hands all over her face.

"…That ever since we met you've had a hold on me…"

Kyo gurgled, his eyes fixed on Naruto. Sasuke wanted to join them—gods, he wanted to join them so bad—but he also didn't want to interrupt, didn't want it to stop.

"…It happens to be true,

I only want to be with you…"

Naruto poked Kyo's nose, and Kyo managed to grab her finger. He looked at it, babbled something that sounded like 'oouuwww', and then put the finger in his mouth. Sasuke had to hold in a snicker. Naruto simply smiled and kissed his fist, rocking side-to-side with the baby.

"…It doesn't matter where you go or what you do,

I want to spend each moment of the day with you…"

Naruto leaned forward and kissed the baby's forehead, tickling his sides. As the baby squealed, she laughed.

"…Oh, look what has happened with just one kiss,

I never knew that I could be in love like this…"

Her blue eyes were filled with something so fierce, so profound. A vast ocean both life-giving and destructive if need be. She leaned forward and pressed her lips against Kyo's forehead again, longer this time, before leaning her forehead against his.

"…It's crazy but it's true,

I only want to be with you…"

Kyo's eyes were starting to droop, and Naruto shifted and cradled him.

"…I just want to be beside you everywhere…"

She removed her finger from Kyo's grip, and replaced it with a lock of her hair. She enveloped Kyo, cocooning him, and kissed the top of his head.

"…As long as we're together, honey, I don't care…"

Kyo cooed in her arms, his eyelids becoming heavier and heavier.

Unable to hold back the desire to be enveloped in that moment like Kyo was, Sasuke finally stepped into the room.

Naruto looked up. "Hey, Sas."

Her face was still shining. It made his heart stop.

This was real.

This was…his life.

I'm so…lucky. To have someone as extraordinary as Naruto love him. To have a son by her who was just as delightful as her. To have a family like them to fill his heart with more warmth and love than he ever thought he deserved.

Sasuke sat on the bed next to her and leaned in to kiss her. "I love you. I love you so, so much."

Naruto leaned back a little, watching him with an expression that was torn between a frown and a smile. "Why…all of a sudden?"

"Why not?"

She finally decided on a smile and pecked him. "I love you, too."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "You're definitely getting better at lying."

"Huh?"

"'I never knew that I could be in love like this'?" Sasuke sang. Well, he tried to. "'I only want to be with you'? Then what about me?"

Naruto grew pink. "H-How long were you listening?"

Sasuke poked her cheek, not able to help but smile broadly. "Long enough. I feel betrayed, Naru."

Naruto stuck her tongue out. "Too bad, teme."

Sasuke chuckled and looked down at Kyo. He was already fast asleep, snoring softly. Sasuke stroked Kyo's forehead, brushing his hair back. "I didn't know he'd end up becoming a rival. He even got you to sing for him." He looked back up at Naruto. "You never sang for me."

Naruto looked as though she was just about to burst out laughing but was trying to stop herself. Except, she ended up blowing a raspberry, her laughter forcing itself out through pressed lips. "Teme—you're pouting."

Loving the way her eyes danced, Sasuke made the most of it and leaned in, gazing at her from under his lashes. "How come you never sang for me? I'm sad."

Naruto shook, trying hard not to laugh out loud so Kyo wouldn't wake up.

Sasuke had to smile.

"Cos Kyo's special," Naruto finally said once she found her voice. "He wouldn't judge and laugh at me like you would."

Sasuke leaned back. "I'm hurt. Do you see me judging you now?"

"Well—no—but—"

"But what?"

Her cheeks coloring up, Naruto closed her mouth with a pop and looked away.

"Naru…"

"What?"

"Sing for me?"

Naruto continued to look away.

"Please?" he added.

Snorting, she turned back to him. "Why?"

"Because I like to hear you sing."

Her eyes widen. "Y-You do?"

"Yeah. You have a surprisingly beautiful singing voice."

Naruto narrowed her eyes. "What do you mean, surprisingly?"

Oops.

"I mean—I like how you sound normally, too," he amended.

Naruto gave him an unimpressed look. "Uhuh."

Sasuke leaned forward, only barely brushing her lips with his. "Please?"

Naruto shoved him, flushing. "Okay, okay! Geez, you're so needy."

Sasuke hid a smirk.

Naruto looked down at Kyo and rested her palm on his torso, petting him gently. She cleared her throat. After hesitating a moment longer and giving Sasuke a quick glance, she went back to gazing at Kyo.

"You…stopped and smiled at me…"

She started out uncertain, her cheeks still flushed an adorable pink.

"…and I didn't stand a chance…"

Her voice gradually became more assured, and she finally looked at Sasuke.

"…Now listen, honey,

I just want to be beside you everywhere.

As long as we're together, honey, I don't care…"

Naruto smiled, and he was effectively under her spell.

"...'Cause we started something,

Oh, can't you see?

That ever since we met

You've had a hold on me…"

She cupped his cheek, leaning in close.

"...No matter what you do,

I only want to be with you.

I said, no matter, no matter what you do,

I only want to be with you."

The only lyric I changed was in the end when Naruto said "Cause WE started something, oh can't you see?" Originally it was "Cause YOU started something..." I just changed YOU to WE.
