The estimated value of a terraformed world, the american donation of Triton to the UN came with the stipulation that the moon would act as a payment for past and future payment of dues to the organization. With this Triton was transformed into the UN's embassy world which each country on Earth being granted an island to serve as an Embassy, the city of Unity located on the northern continent had just been finished and housed the UN's current headquarters.

I took another walk around the island, it is perhaps an Irony that our Embassy was technically bigger then our country, I mean that wasn't hard, Vatican city while holy was only a small part of Rome, the mother church would of course adapt to the new world and our good fortune.

"Father Mathas."

I turned and nodded at the man.

"Cardinal."

"I have need of your unique god given talents."

In other words he needed a Thinker.

"I shall serve you to the best of my abilities, your grace."

He smiled.

"I thank you, I am new to this world and need guidence, the land of this world, give me an idea of what is here please."

I closed my eyes.

"75% water, 25% earth, of the landmass the northern continent has 25% of the land, the southern one 20%, the remaining 55% is made up of islands of various sizes. There are exactly 582,142,398 islands on Triton. As per the Solar Compact, every country is entitled to one embassy island with the others set aside for future nations as they appear. Planetary size is the same as Earth's."

He nodded.

"Um ok, the major players?"

"The Americans are focused on the war and their terraforming efforts and trying to maintain order in their country. The Russians are in the process of Evactuating their people to Titania, or at least their elite. The Chinese have moved 400 million people to Oberon, but this is less about fear of how the war will go then an effort to stabilize their country. The British are focused on the war and their economy, with their efforts to colonize their world being more of a 'just in case' option. The French are trying to increase yields and moving a sizable number of their people to Rhea."

I sighed.

"Projections show that one fourth of the human race will live off Earth by 2012."

He nodded.

"And our position?"

"We don't have any great enemies but our influance is limited Cardinal, any world on the final decision by the Pope on this matter?"

The Cardinal smiled at my question.

"After a long conversation the Pope has reafirmed that it is ok to live on other worlds."

"And Ironwood?"

The Cardinal nodded.

"He has sought honest repentance, and God has worked his miracles through sinners before."

We continued walking around the dirt world.

"Any news about him?"

Gossip is a sin, but I am a weak man and enjoy listing to it. I will be ready to repent later, 20 hail mary's sound about right.

"The mother church has been paying attention to Seattle for awhile, but you understand this information is..."

"I heard nothing, your grace."

The artificial sun was setting.

"One of our people was tasked with the funerals for the fallen Endbringers."

I stopped.

"Isn't that..."

"Dangerous? To a degree, it might hurt some with weak faith, but we are tasked to preform such duties even for those who have greviously sinned. We are merely doing our duty to God, such duties are not always pleasant."

"I understand your grace."

"Going on, we have discovered that his wife was a lapsed catholic, her mother was irreligious and her father made sure she was baptized, she showed up to mass roughly twice a year."

That was all to common.

"And?"

"Well we have several schools around the world including a few in Seattle, and we made it known to her that we excelled in teaching young children. We have had to make compromises with the local officials on security matters but we have been given some insight on the man."

"And?"

"The book of Job is a part of the Bible for a reason, humanity has been tested and the new worlds are rewards for our faith."

"And the Endbringers?"

"God's Mercy is vast, their crimes are lengthy and horrible and they have been given one final chance to seek redemption, officially we should feel pity that they have squandered this final chance for repentance. Unofficially I hope their stay in hell in a long one."

I nodded my head and the sun set, the view of Neptune filled the sky, the Cardinal and I enjoyed the view.
