Calamity Strikes

All 4 of the Champions were waiting at the gate of Mt. Lanayru for Zelda and Link to return. Zelda had hoped that praying at the Spring of Wisdom would've been her chance to finally unlock her sealing power.

After a moment of praying, Zelda and Link came back from the Spring of Wisdom.

Zelda looked melancholy as she walked to the Champions.

"Well, don't keep us in suspense. How'd everything go up there on the mountain?", Daruk asked.

Zelda sighed and shook her head.

"So you didn't feel anything? No power at all?", Revali asked.

"I'm sorry, no.", Zelda replied.

"Then let's move on.", Urbosa said.

"You've done all you could. Feeling sorry for yourself won't be of any help", Urbosa said to Zelda. Urbosa could sense Zelda's disappointment from not being able to unlock her sealing power.

"After all, it's not like your last shot was up there on Mt. Lanayru. Anything could finally spark the power to seal Ganon away. We just have to keep looking for that... thing", Urbosa said.

"That's kind of you, thank you.", Zelda replied softly with tears streaming down her face.

Mipha then began to speak.

"If I may... I thought you... Well, I'm not sure how to put this into words... I'm actually quite embarrassed to say it. But I was thinking about what I do when I'm healing. You know, what usually goes through my mind... It helps me when I think-when I think about-"

Suddenly, the ground started to shake, and each of the Champions tried to maintain their balance.

Revali used his gale to soar high into the air to see what was going on. What he saw was truly horrifying. Hyrule Castle had become engulfed in Calamity Ganon's malice. The Calamity Ganon was now here.

"It's here.", Urbosa said.

"This is it... then", Daruk said.

"Are you sure?", asked Zelda.

"Positive.", Revali replied.

"It's awake, Ganon!", Zelda said.

"Let's stop wasting time!", Daruk said.

"We're gonna need everything we got to take that thing down. Now Champions, to your Divine Beasts!", Daruk said valiantly.

"Show that swirling swine who's boss! Link will need to meet Ganon head on when we attack. This needs to be a unified assault! Little guy, you get to Hyrule Castle. You can count on us for support. But it's up to you to pound Ganon into oblivion.", Daruk said to Link.

"Come on. We should go. We need to get you some place safe.", Urbosa said to Zelda.

"No! I am not a child anymore! I may not be much use on the battlefield... But there must... There must be something I can do to help", Zelda said with confidence.
