Victory in Brockton Bay!
Eric Snow
Yesterday humanity won yet another victory over the Endbringers, bringing us down to just three left. The hero known as Void Cowboy veteran of over 50 Endbringer battles used his tinkertech and hard won experience to slay the monster known as Zeus. We are grateful for his efforts but we should also take time to think about those who have died. The Sullivan family for example. This family coming from West Virginia dedicated themselves to fighting the Endbringers and paid for their patriotism with their lives.
The first one to die was Max Sullivan in the battle for New York, he left behind a teenage son who like his father joined the Marine Corps to fight for humanity. His name was Alex Sullivan and he married his high school sweetheart, had a son and then like his father died in combat, He left behind Bruce Sullivan a mere child who swore that he would take up the sword of his father and grandfather, when he turned 18 he joined the Marine Corps and as of today he too has died, leaving behind Jason Sullivan, a son he had with his high school sweetheart.
The tragic story of the Sullivan family is heart rending, but it's something seen throughout the world. These alien invaders have ripped apart our families, our communities, our countries. The world stands united and we must make sure that the Sullivan family did not die in vain, we must make sure that tiny Bruce does not have to grow up and fight the same war his father fought, his grandfather fought, and his great grandfather fought. Three generations of Sullivan's have given their lives for this country, for this world, for humanity. It's up to us to make sure that a fourth one doesn't.
