Amy Dallon

I paced back and forth waiting for Vicky to come, I sighed at Void.

"Can't you put some cloths on?"

He looked up from his work.

"I told you that I needed to work with some delicate electronics, static electricity could kill the entire thing, and I don't have a lot of materials to work with. So yeah, I have to do this with a minimum amount of clothing, be thankful I'm wearing underwear."

He then tilted his head.

"Also I don't know why you're in my basement, I told you what I would be doing."

I thought about it.

"Because I'm bored?"

He shrugged.

"Ok that's as good a reason as any I guess."

He continued working and I heard a ringing sound, I rushed up stairs and flung open the door, Vicky looked at me with dead eyes. Then she blinked.

"Who are you?"

"It's me."

She narrowed her eyes, I sighed.

"You stole a broken gun after Jakarta, and tried to make it into a sword. You failed miserably but you still have Mr. Stabby under your bed."

She crossed her arms.

"Tattletale and other Thinkers are a thing and-"

I touched her and then healed the slight brusing she stopped and sighed.

"Mom's going to flip her goddamned lid when she sees this."

I shrugged.

"Yeah but with the Nine..."

She gritted her teeth.

"Not a good subject right now Amy."

She was hiding something, something important, I looked at the suitcase.

"My armor?"

"The Mark 13, the one you said to only bring out if everything went to shit."

She glared at me.

"Everything's gone to shit."

"Right, we're going to need help, VOID GET UP HERE!"

I heard a groan and he walked up to greet my sister, her eyes widened she looked at me and then at him then at me. Her mouth was wide open she just stared at me. Then I noticed that I was still in one of Void's dress shirts and a pair of his boxers, and then I noticed that he was still wearing just his underwear.

She then blinked.

"Oh... um... Ok then...so um I guess you guys were busy, I'm sorry and um yeah I'm out of here."

She rushed out and slammed the door shut, Void shrugged.

"What's with her?"

I felt the heat on my cheeks.

"She thinks we um...did something."

He yawned.

"Well yeah we did, we hung out, talked and you watched me Tinker."

I grimaced.

"The other sort of thing, you know."

He crossed his arms.

"I really don't."

"She thinks you um...jamed it in."

He tilted his head, he looked tired. I heard the door tilt open a little.

"Well of course I jammed it in, getting some parts where they needed to go can be a pain, but once you have things working together just right, well that's magic."

The door closed, I felt a sense of frustration.

"She thinks we had..."

I then procided to do a rude jesture with my hands, he sighed.

"Well that's ridicolous."

I blinked.

"Your way out of my league."

With that he yawned and went back to his basement, I decided to put on my armor, I could deal with convincing him later.
