It was sudden. Pokemon were mining their own business when suddenly they were teleported to a far away planet. The pokemon were obviously very confused about what was happening. Before suddenly they knew what they had to do. They had to fight, but not each other.
Turning around they saw their opponents. Lions, lions as far as the eye could see. Rows upon rows of lions staring at them and just like with the pokemon they knew what they had to do.
Suddenly a bright light appeared above the. The light reveals it to be Arceus the creator of pokemon. It stared down at the lions who were all growling aggressively at the pokemon. Arceus then landed in front of the pokemon and gave one order to them all, fight.
The pokemon roared at the same time as the lions. With the lions charging at them.
Begin!
The lion charged at the pokemon by the millions. Before they could reach them, the pokemon all vanished in a flash of blue light. The pokemon who were able to teleport used their teleporting powers to teleport themself and all the other pokemon away.
The pokemon knew that charging into an army of that size would do no good for them. Pokemon like Alakazam or legendary pokemon knew it would be best to spread themself out so not only would they not be clumped together, but so they could avoid hurting each other in the crossfire.
Most of them were teleported away in groups so they would not be left alone to fight the lions.
A lion charged and jumped toward the first pokemon it saw, jaws wide open. Only for it to get a mouth full of Machamp's fist. The punch instantly reduced the lion in a pool of blood with the forces of the punch sending a massive shockwave that killed or blew away any lions that were in front of Machamp.
Machamp, seeing more lions coming at it, ran and jumped high into the air before crashing down with its four powerful arms hitting the ground. The shockwave that came from the impact was like a nuke when off. The ground was cracking for miles away and the shockwave of air was powerful enough that any lions nearby were instantly killed and any lions that were far enough away from the shockwave to not die instantly, were thrown hundreds of feet into the air. Before crashing down and landing on other lions, either killing them or greatly injuring them. In one move Machamp had killed thousands of lions. But it wasn't done.
Lions came at machamp from every direction. Machamp with its four arms threw punches powerful enough to see waves of air that were powerful enough to blow the flesh off the lions killing them. Machamp was throwing thousands of punches each with enough force behind them to kill or blow away any lions. This resulted in tens of thousands of lions dying, trying to get to Machamp. Even with four arms punching in different directions a few lions made it to Machamp. One lion bit Machamp's shoulder only for its teeth to shatter when trying to break Machamp's skin. Machamp just kicked the lion away, killing it before focusing on keeping the lions away.
Good thing he was alone so he didn't have to worry about his punches hurting any of the other pokemon. So he could just keep punching.
Elsewhere a few miles away from the Machamp were a few pokemon that were teleported away from Machamp. A, Lucario was throwing aura spheres. Each aura sphere exploded when it came in contact with the lions, killing dozens of them with each explosion. The Lucario was then covered in a glowing white light before suddenly disappearing. It used its Extreme Speed move to kill lions all around the battlefield. Lions would suddenly explode into a bloody mess as Lucario moved too fast for the lions to see what was happening. Every punch or kick Lucario threw killed the lions instantly. After a minute of Extreme Speed it stopped and was breathing heavily. Looking around it saw bodies of dead lions in the hundreds.
Turning around it kicked a lion that was trying to sneak behind it, crushing the lion face killing it. Lucario saw more lions coming at it by the hundreds. Lucario was about to fire an aura sphere when the lions that were charging at Lucario were suddenly electrocuted by a flash of lightning frying them all.
Appearing in a flash of lighting was Zeraora, who was covered in electricity. It gave a nod to Lucario and disappeared again with its unbelievable speed. Zeraora moved with speed that surpassed Lucario's use of Extreme Speed. Its speed allowed it to kill lions before the lions even knew they were dead. Even if Zeraora didn't come in physical contact with the lions the lighting that was coming off of it was enough to electrocute them.
Elsewhere lions were dying by literally melting. Magcargo was just standing there like it wasn't in a battle to the death. All around it were lions that were on fire or literally melting. A group of lions charged at the Magcargo, once they were within a hundred feet or so of the Magcargo they started to feel hot. Like they were on fire. That was because they were catching on fire. Causing the lions to stop and roll trying to put themselves out.
Magcargo may be hotter than the surface of the sun, with it being 18,000 degrees F and the sun's surface being 10,000 degrees F. Magcargo however, was only two and a half feet tall. While the sun itself was over a million times the size of the earth. So even with it almost being double the temperature of the sun's surface it couldn't catch everything on fire because of its small size. Even so any lion that got within a hundred or so feet of it was turned ablaze. And any lions that were still determined enough to try and attack Magcargo even while on fire were literally melting alive.
So Magcargo literally didn't need to do anything to kill lions. Looking around it saw many pools of literal melted lions. It slowly slid away looking for more lions to kill, while also leaving a trail of fire behind it. Which had caused a fire outbreak that was spreading quickly and catching more lions on fire.
A Gyarados, a Vaporeon, a Lapras and a few other water type pokemon saw an army of lions charging them. Then all together the water type pokemon used the move Surf. The move was made stronger as all the water pokemon's Surf fused together in a giant title wave. The lions were swept by it as they struggled to fight against the massive wave.
When the wave was over the lions were coughing and vomiting water. Just as some of them got back up a barrage of lighting bolts struck them. Violently electrocuting them and with the help of the water, the lighting started to spread to any lions that were wet. The lighting bolts were shot from high into the air by a Magnezone, a Rotom, and any other electric type pokemon capable of flight. This was part of the plan this small group of pokemon came up with. They would wait for a group of lions to charge them then use the wide range move Surf to catch as many of them as they could. Then the electric type pokemon would just use a few electric attacks to kill them by the hundreds, thanks to the lions being wet. This way they didn't need to use so much energy to get the same results. A great show of teamwork among pokemon.
But not all pokemon were doing this well. A Caterpie was trying to hide itself from all the lions. Its small size made it able to be ignored by most of the lions. But even if it was ignored it constantly had to avoid being stepped on by a 400 pound predator. Eventually it was spotted by a lion.
"Caterpie!" The caterpie shrieked. It was barely able to dodge the sweep of a lion's claw. The Caterpie then uses a Tackle, glowing white with power it slammed itself against the lion's side. The lion was momentarily stunned by the attack, but that was all it managed to accomplish. The lion opened its jaws wide and bit the Caterpie in half, killing it and eating the rest of its body.
A Metapod and a Kakuna were basically a free, albeit hard meal to the lions. They tried to fight the lions back with String Shots and Tackles, but they couldn't kill even one lion. The lions came down on them like a pack of, well lions. The Metapod and Kakuna tried to keep themself alive with the use of Harden, which did help a little bit. But all that it did was delay the inevitable.
"Metapod!"
"Kakuna!"
Both screamed in pain as the lions broke through their shells and started to eat their insides.
Not too far away was a Raticate and a Gumshoos were trying their best to stay alive. Normally a Raticate and a Gumshoos would be trying to eat each other as they were natural enemies. But even they were intelligent enough to know this wasn't the time to try and eat each other.
The Raticate used its powerful fangs that were powerful enough to break concrete, to bite a lion's neck killing it. It then heard the sound of a lion appearing from behind it. Using its tail to smack the lion away, breaking its neck. More lions came charging at the Raticate from the front.
Before they could reach it, the Gumshoos landed in front of them and used Scary Face. The lions suddenly felt fear and slowed their charge. The Gumshoos then used Thrash while charging at them.
The Gumshoos punched, kicked, smashed and even headbutted the lions. Lions kept coming, but they were no match for Gumshoos who roared like a wild beast. This didn't last long as the effects of Thrash kicked in. Gumshoos's head was spinning like it was in a daze lions immediately took a vantage of this and started piling on top of it, clawing and biting. The Gumshoos would have met its end here, weren't for the Raticate tackling the lions off with a Double-Edge.
The Double-Edge killed the lions that were on Gumshoos, freeing it. But this came at a price, the recoil damage that came with Double-Edge caused the Raticate to fall on its knees. The lions came to the weakened Raticate. Gumshoos stood in front of Raticate and used Scary Face again to slow them down and charged at them again.
A lion from behind came running at Raticate, hearing the lion behind it, it swiped its tail to kill it. But now that the Raticate was weakened, the tail swipe was slower and had less strength behind it. The lion caught its tail in its mouth, biting down hard. The Raticate shrieked in pain as it felt the sharp teeth of the lion pierce its tail skin. More lions came at the tail biting it. The Raticate was in so much pain as it tried to pull its tail away from the lions jaws. In response the lions pulled back as well and before long the lions ripped the tail off.
Raticate cried in absolute pain, before the lions dropped the ripped tail and pounced on the down pokemon. Hearing the painful shrieks of the Raticate, the Gumshoos made the mistake of turning it back against the lions it was fighting. A lion immediately seized the opportunity that Gumshoos had unintentionally made, by pouncing on its head and getting its claws into the Gumshoos eyes, blinding it. The Gumshoos fell over and were too pounced on by the lions. This resulted in the deaths of both of them.
In another place a male Nidoran and a female Nidoran were huddled together scared for their very lives. A lion almost came close to getting one of them in its jaws. But a big purple tail struck its face, smashing it.
The Nidoking roared in anger at the fact a lion almost killed one of their kids. From behind it, another roar, this one belonging to a Nidoqueen, as she slammed her claw down on the ground to use an Earth Power. The move killed many lions but the dead lions were quickly replaced by more.
From the left and right sides of the Nidoking and Nidoqueen came a barrage of Toxics. Which poisoned a good chunk of lions, causing the lions to fall over and vomit. The Nidorina and Nidorino were doing their best to help their parents and protect their younger siblings. The two Nidoran were too weak and scared to fight, so the family focused on protecting them.
The parents were guarding the front and back, while the older siblings guarded the sides of the Nidorans, forming a protective square around them. They were able to kill any lions that came at them with no problems, but the real challenge here was to keep their young kids safe. And that was proving to be more difficult by the second. For every lion they killed two more would take its place. And they didn't have even a second of time to stop. So they had to constantly keep fighting.
Eventually however, a lion slipped through the Nidoking and bit the female Nidoran. She cried in pain as the lion's fangs ripped a part of her back. The Nidoking immediately turned its back away from the lions to see what had happened to his child, this proved to be a mistake as lions jumped him causing him to trip. This gave the lions the opportunity to get to the Nidorans.
The Nidorino and the Nidorina leap to the Nidorans rescue. The Nidorina killed the lion that had the female Nidoran in its jaws, by slashing its throat. The Nidorino slashed and stabbed the lions coming at them with its claws and horn. The Nidoking got up and knocked the lions off of it. Seeing that one of its young was safe for now, it turned back to killing more lions.
The female Nidoran was breathing heavily, its back was missing flesh and it was losing a lot of blood. Nidorina bit her lips at the sight of her younger sister in so much pain.
"Nidorino!" He shouted at her as a warning, but it was too late. A lion bit her by the side of her neck. She was saved from death thanks to her tough scales, but nevertheless the fang sank into her throat causing her to fall and drop the female Nidoran. The lion let go of Nidorina's throat and bit the female Nidoran, its fangs pierced its neck killing it. Nidorina, seeing her younger sister now dead in the lion's mouth. Nidorina took a moment to process what had just happened, and finally roared with rage. The roar got the attention of all the other Nido family members, who all saw their dead family members. The Nidorina saw red as it shoved her claws into the lion's neck and then violently ripped its head off.
The male Nidoran stares in horror at the dead body of his youngest sister. And cried in terror and ran from his dead sister, this was a big mistake as the child in his terror run away from the safety of his family. Nidorino roared for his little brother to come back, but his little brother was too scared and traumatized by seeing his sister die to listen.
A lion came pouncing at him, before the lion could kill the traumatized Nidoran, Nidorino appeared in front of the Nidoran, and took a claw to the eye for it. Roaring, the Nidorino stabbed its horn into the lion. After killing it, Nidorino roared at his little brother to tell him to stay near him.
The parents roared in anger and fought even harder to protect their family and avenge their fallen child.
Pokemon of all kinds were either doing very well or very bad. Some pokemon were easily getting through the waves of lions with minimum effort, some were struggling for their very lives, and others had no chance.
But even in this massive massacre, a few pokemon weren't even bothered by the near unlimited amount of lions coming their way.
A lion roared as it slashed a pokemon for the hundredth time, only for its claws to go through it. The Gengar laughed hysterically as it watched all the lions trying their best to kill it only for it all to end in failure. This was all thanks to Gengar ghost type nature. With it, it had the ability to make itself intangible to most physical means of harm. The lion tried everything they had to try and kill the Gengar, but it was all in vain. The lions tried clawing, slashing, and even biting, but none of that work. All their attacks just went through it.
Gengar just started floating on its back like it was relaxing on the beach, as the lions still kept trying to kill it. Gengar then pointed a finger at a group of lions that were about to try again to kill it, when it fired a Shadow Ball. The attack hit the lions and exploded killing the group of lions. Gengar smiled, as it saw that its ghost type attack could hit the lions, but the lions couldn't hit it.
It seemed that the lions weren't normal type pokemon.
A fiery explosion appeared far away from Gengar. But it was not worried about it, it knew who had caused that explosion.
The Chandelure fired its Flamethrower like a concentrated beam, when it exploded, sending fire everywhere. The fire was spreading quickly like a massive forest fire, only that this forest was made of lions and not wood. A lion tried to sneak attack the Chandelure only for its attack to go through it. The Chandelure responded by doing a hypnotizing dance and absorbing its soul.
In another area, not too far from the Chandelure was a Froslass. The Froslass freezed any lions that tried to attack it. Bodies of frozen lions could be seen everywhere as the lions only succeeded in freezing to death when trying and failing to kill a ghost type pokemon.
Close by it was a Dusclops. Just like all the other ghost type pokemon it was immune to the lion's attacks. And a good thing too as it was very slow in its movements, it fired Shadow Balls as much as it could, but seeing this wasn't a method that was killing as many lions as its fellow ghost type it decided that it needed to try something else.
Stand still, something shot out of its body a ball of darkness came out and started to suck any lions it could. Lions tried to escape the black hole that came out of the Dusclops but its pull was too strong for them, and they disappeared when they got pulled into it.
High above the lions a barrage of wind blades sliced any lions that were hit to pieces. The lions roared in anger, as they tried to jump and reach the flying type pokemon and any other pokemon that was capable of flight.
A Dragonite roared a command to its small group of flying pokemon, and they followed suit. Together the group of flying pokemon used Hurricane. They combined their Hurricanes together and the result was a massive hurricane that was hundreds of feet tall and at least a hundred feet wide. The hundreds pulled thousands, if not tens of thousands of lions into it. The lions that got pulled were experiencing the hell that was being tossed around in the air by wind that was moving hundreds of mph. Lions in the hurricane crashed against each other, killing each other with the speed of their bodies hitting each other. And other lions were flung out of the hurricane and were crashing down on the ground or on any other lions that were unfortunate enough to act as a cushion for them, killing them both.
Lions by the tens of thousands were being levitated high into the air by a blue glow that covered their body. They tried and failed to break free from the psychic grip, as Mega Mewtwo Y held them in its incredible psychic powers. With a crushing hand motion all the lions that were in Mewtwo psychic grip exploded into a bloody mist. There was so much blood that for a moment it was literally raining blood. Mewtwo looked down to see that the space below it was quickly filling up again with lions, who were roaring and jumping to try and get to it. Mewtwo frowned at this as this was the tenth time it did this all around the battlefield, yet it wasn't enough to make a dent into the lion's numbers.
The sound of something coming into Mewtwo direction caused it to turn its head around to see what was coming. Coming at the speed of sound was a Pidgeot. The Pidgeot stops in front of Mewtwo, seemingly happy that it had found it. Mewtwo raised an eyebrow at the Pidgeot, confused as to why it was so happy to have found it.
Mewtwo got its answer when the Pidgeot suddenly glowed for a moment before revealing itself, as a perfect copy of Mega Mewtwo Y.
Ditto had been looking for a powerful pokemon to transform into when the battle started. It saw a few pokemon that it could have chosen to transform into, but it wanted a powerful pokemon to transform into. So it took to the skies with a Pidgeot form and spent all of its time looking for a powerful pokemon to transform into, and what better form to take than a legendary pokemon to transform into.
The real Mega Mewtwo Y was a little surprised at this but nodded its head in approval, at the good thinking of Ditto. The sounds of roaring made them both look down to the ground to see lions trying to get to them. The real Mewtwo was getting tired of this and decided to try something else. Sending a mental command to the Ditto of its plan, Ditto agreed to help it.
Both Mega Mewtwo Y raised their hands high and started to form Psystrikes. The Psystrikes kept growing in size till the two Psystrikes merged together forming one massive Psystrike. The massive Psystrike only kept growing in size till it was hundreds of feet tall and hundreds of feet wide. It was so big that it could be seen from miles away. After a moment it stopped growing and the two Mewtwo looked at each other nodding their heads. Together both of them slammed their hands down and caused the massive Psystrike to fall to the ground, before it could impact itself on to anything, both Mewtwo teleported away, as to not get caught up in the blast that was about to happen.
The Psystrike hit the lions that were underneath it, and exploded in an explosion that would make an atomic nuke explosion look small in comparison. The explosion covered tens of miles of ground killing hundreds of thousands of lions at least. The explosion was felt by other lions and pokemon that were hundreds of miles away from it and were confused as to what had caused that.
Else where the two Mewtwo appeared looking at the destruction they had caused looking satisfied at their work, before flying off together to kill more lions.
Tyranitar roared in sadness and anger as it saw the dead body of its children. It had tried its best to protect its Larvitar and Pupitar from the lions but it had failed due to the number of lions attacking them all at once. Tyranitar was basically invincible as its body was built like a mountain. Lion claws and fangs couldn't hope to penetrate Tyranitar's body. So they went after its kids instead.
To which they did manage to kill, but this only sent the Tyranitar into a blind rage as it spammed its Earthquake and Hyper Beam attack as much as it could. High above it was a Garchomp, a Hydreigon and a few more dragon type pokemon. They could see the carnage that the Tyranitar was causing and decided to help it out. The dragons aimed their heads up high and fired Draco Meteors into the air. The Draco Meteors rained down on the lions. The dragon type pokemons were careful to be far away from the Tyranitar below them, as to not have their Draco Meteors hit the Tyranitar.
Elsewhere sitting on top of a literal mountain of dead lions was the Machamp from earlier. It was exhausted, how many lions did it kill, it thought. Thousands, tens of thousands? It wasn't keeping track of the number of lions it killed, it just kept punching till the lions stopped coming.
It then heard a number of explosions far away from it and saw the Draco Meteors that were raining down from a distance. It couldn't rest now, it had a fight to win. Getting up reluctantly it ran to the direction of the meteors in hopes of finding more lions to kill.
Lucario was exhausted. Just like Machamp it was constantly fighting lions, however unlike Machamp it was not doing as well as it. A lion came pouncing from behind it, and Lucario was barely able to punch it away. Lucario at this point fell to its knees. Unable to fight anymore. It had killed thousands of lions just like Machamp. But it lacked the power Machamp had, so it had to spend more energy killing lions than Machamp did.
A lion bit Lucario on the back of the head, Lucario screamed in pain as it kicked the lion away breaking its rib cage. Lucario could feel blood flowing down its head and as it tried to stand tall but only succeeded in falling back down. Lucario saw a group of lions coming at it. Putting its paws together it fired an Aura Sphere. The Aura Sphere was small and only killed a part of the group of lions coming at it rather than the whole group like it normally did.
The lion all pounced at Lucario, and Lucario had no energy left to fight back. The lions ate Lucario alive, Lucario cried in pain as it felt its body being ripped to pieces. It felt one of its arms being pulled off as well as a leg. Lucario started to feel numb and the last thing it saw was a pair of jaws coming down on its face.
Elsewhere a Gardevoir and Gallade were fighting for their lives, but just like other pokemon the battle was taking its toll on them. Gardevoir fired another Moonblast at the lions. Her heavy breathing showed how tired she was. Gallade was also tired too. He sliced so many lions that his arms were sore.
More lions came at them, and together the Gradevoir and Gallade used Psychic to grab the lions and crush their heads. Both of them were panting, clearly still exhausted from all of this fighting. The sound of more roars were heard behind them. Turing, they both saw an army of lions coming at them. The army had ten thousands of lions in it coming at them at least.
Seeing this army, they knew they couldn't beat this many lions at once. Not when both were exhausted. Good thing Gradevoir had a plan in mind. Putting both of her hands forward she concentrated her powers into a small black hole. The black hole was only the size of her hand and wasn't as powerful as a real black hole. But it would be enough.
Throwing it the black hole grew in size and started to suck everything in. The lions were pulled in, even when they tried to escape the black hole pull. The Gradevoir and Gallade were able to stand their ground as they were far away from it. The black hole had sucked the entire army of lions that were after them before. Making it seem like the lions weren't there in the first place.
The black hole started to shrink before disappearing. The black hole Gradevoir had created was not a real black hole, just something that was like one. Looking around both Gradevoir and Gallade saw that there weren't any lions nearby. Seeing this the two of them sat down on the ground and took this opportunity to rest a bit.
A giant tail swipes a line of lions launching them and killing them. A lion roars aggressively only to be silenced by a pair of big jaws biting the lion and eating it in a few quick bits.
Tyrantrum roared in victory, before stomping on a lion like a bug. It stomped again this time a wave of glowing stones appeared in a straight line. The Stone Edge carved through a row of the lions that surrounded it.
A Sudden wave of cold air freezed the lions that surrounded the Tyrantrum. Turning its head, Tyrantrum gave a quick nod of thanks to the pokemon that was with it.
Aurorus returned the nod back and used Blizzard again to freeze more of the lions that were around them. However a good number of lions managed to avoid being frozen and headed for Aurorus. Aurorus movements were slow so it wouldn't be able to react quickly as the lions came at it. The lions bit and clawed at Aurorus' legs. Even when Aurorus released cold air that was cold enough to freeze some of them, the lions just kept attacking.
"Aurorus!" It screamed in pain, as the constant clawing and biting was making progress getting through its scales. Aurorus tried to kick some of them away, but there were just so many of them.
"Tyrantrum!" Tyrantrum roared as it tried to help the Aurorus, but the lions kept getting in the way.
Aurorus was starting to get overwhelmed by the lions, even when using Blizzard to try to get them off of it.
"Draco!"
Was suddenly heard as something landed with a crash in the middle of the lions that were surrounding them. A second later a massive wave of electricity came from the source of the crash. The wave of electricity hit everything, including both Tyrantrum and Aurorus, but as well as the lions.
The lions were fried to death by the electricity, Tyrantrum and Aurorus were hit too, but Tyrantrum typing made it able to withstand it with ease. And while Aurorus had no typing resistance to electricity, Auroruses were more specially defensive than physically defensive. So it too was able to withstand it.
Seeing that the lions were dealt with for the moment anyway, they both turned to see what had caused this. And what they saw was a Dracozolt that was jumping in place, seemingly doing a happy dance.
Dracozolt had come to their rescue by using Discharge, a move known for its range. Dracozolt then approached Tyrantrum and was jumping around it like a puppy. Both Tyrantrum and Aurorus were confused by the over energetic pokemon that saved them.
The sound of roaring was heard again, and Tyrantrum turned to see the lions coming at them again. Tyrantrum roared and was about to charge at them, when a blue beam froze the lions solid.
Tyrantrum turned its head to give a nod of thanks again to Aurorus, but found that Aurorus was shaking its head saying no. This confused Tyrantrum as it wasn't sure what it had meant. Another Ice Beam was shot again, this time Tyrantrum could see that it wasn't Aurorus that fired the beam, as the beam went between its large legs. Looking down Tyrantrum and Aurorus saw who had shot the beam.
Arctovish floated slowly to Aurorus' wounded front legs and gave it a gentle nuzzle, as if saying it was going to be ok now.
The sound of electricity was heard again and both Tyrantrum and Aurorus turned to look at Dracozolt, but found that Dracozolt was still jumping around Tyrantrum's legs. Then they heard Arctovish cry, but it wasn't a cry of pain, but a cry of joy.
They saw Arctovish floating away from them and saw a pokemon that was slowly making its way over to them.
Arctozolt was walking as fast as it could to get back to its friend. When Arctovish and Arctozolt made it to each other, Arctozolt was doing small jumps like Dracozolt was doing and Arctovish was slowly nuzzling Arctozolt.
As both Tyrantrum and Aurorus watched this exchange, they failed to notice the small group of lions behind them making their way to them quietly. Before the lions could get any closer a Dragon Pulse hit the lions from behind. Killing them and turning them into meat chunks. The sound of the attack causes all of them to turn their head to the source of the attack.
They saw Dracovish making its way to them in a happy sprint, seeing Dracovish, Dracozolt stopping hopping around Tyrantrum and happily sprinted towards Dracovish. When they met Dracozolt was now hopping in front of Dracovish and, Dracovish was nuzzling Dracozolt.
Arctozolt and Artovish had made their way to them and now all four of them were crying happily. But this moment was interrupted by the sounds of more lion roaring. They all saw lions coming at them in all directions.
Seeing this Tyrantrum and Aurorus cried for the four of them to give them some cover. Now Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Dracovish, and Artovish, were covering all sides of Tyrantrum and Aurorus. They would hit the lions with Thunderbolts, Ice Beams, Hydro Pumps, and Dragon Pulses. While Tyrantrum and Aurorus were changing their attacks, now that they had pokemon to cover them.
Once they were done, Tyrantrum fired its fully charged Draco Meteor into the air. The Draco Meteor exploded into a rain of them. They hit the lions, each one killing tens of them. The rain of meteors only lasted for a moment but the damage it did was great, as it killed many of the lions.
But the dead lions were quickly replaced with more as more lions came rushing them. However it was Aurorus' turn to unleash its fully charged attack. Aiming its head to face the lions, it fired its fully charged Hyper Beam. The Hyper Beam was big, but something else was different from a normal Hyper Beam. Unlike the normal orange colored beam, this beam was blue and was freezing any lions that it hit.
That was because of Aurorus's ability Refrigerate. This ability would turn all normal type attacks into ice type attacks. On top of that they would receive a boost in power, making the attack even more powerful.
Aurorus moved its head around using its long neck, after going in a complete circle, Aurorus ended the attack and was now breathing heavily. But its attack worked wonders, as all around them were frozen lions as far as the eye could see.
Deciding that the threat of lions was over for now they would take a breather before going back into the fight.
In, practically in another continent away from the fight we had just seen, was a pokemon levitating high in the air and was bored out of its mind was Hoopa. Hoopa was in its confined form and was lazily looking down on the ground. It saw a few pokemon fighting for their lives down there, some were doing well and others were not. Hoopa at the beginning of the fight had fun killing the lions, especially when the lions couldn't hurt Hoopa thanks to its ghost typing. But after a few minutes, it got bored of killing lions. There was just no challenge for it and killing the lions quickly lost it fun.
Hoopa lazily fired a Shadow Ball down which killed a bunch of lions, but Hoopa was still just bored. Looking over the sea of lions Hoopa then decided to try something else, in hopes of killing it boredom.
One of Hoopa's hoops left its horn and expanded massively, before a massive pour of lava came flooding in. The lava rain down on the lions melting them into nothing, using its other hoop, its second hoop expanded massively too, before sucking in any lions that were around it. Hoopa watched as its two hoops were doing, and found it a little funny, as lions ran for their lives to avoid being melted or being sucked in by one of its hoops sending the lions to who knows where.
After a minute of this it stopped its hoops and returned the one that was raining down lava back to its horns. Hoopa looked down in a broad manner, as what its hoops were doing wasn't that fun anymore. The hoop that was sucking in lions stopped its sucking, and moved up higher into the air. A moment later a giant meteor came out of the hoop. The meteor came down with such speed that it was on fire. When the meteor impacted the ground, it destroyed miles of land around it forming a giant crater and killing lions that were unfortunate enough to be near it.
Seeing the destruction that one giant meteor caused, Hoopa decided that it would be fun to see more meteors like that. The hoop that summoned the meteor grew in size and Hoopa had its second hoop that returned itself to its horn to do the same thing. After that a rain of giant meteors came from the two hoops. The meteors came in a rapid session, as the hoops also moved around the battlefield so that the meteors would hit more lions.
Unfortunately all those meteors had killed all of the pokemon that were near this chaos. But Hoopa didn't seem to really care as it had a big grin on its face, and even laughed a little when it saw a lion being flung into the air, before crashing back down on the ground in a bloody mess.
Hoopa laughed harder as it saw more lions sharing the same fate as the one that was flung up into the air. Using its third hoop that was around its waist, it flew off of Hoopa and opened a small portal next to it. It shoved its hand into the portal and pulled out a doughnut, which Hoopa then happily munched down in a few bits, before pulling out another doughnut from its hoop.
Hoopa watched as it created its own armageddon with a wicked smile on its face. Enjoying the destruction, it was causing. As Hoopa's hoops killed anything that was within thousands of miles from it. Hoopa laughed one more time in a sinister way, before taking a big bit out of its new doughnut.
A lion bit into a pokemon only for its fangs to shatter like glass, as it like many others failed to do and damage to the Steelix. The Steelix metal body made it impossible for the lions to do any real damage. Any lions that tried to hurt Steelix only hurt themself. Some of the lions tried to go for the Steelix's eyes as its eyes were much softer than its metal body. But when lions got close to its face Steelix would dig underground causing the lions to be crushed or lose their grip. Steelix wasn't alone, however.
The regi trio fought along with Steelix. Regirock would cause earthquakes that would bury any lions that got swallowed by the earthquake, Regice would just stand still like how Magcargo did, and just freeze any lions that came too close to it. And Registeel would blast any lions it could with its Flash Cannon and Zap Cannon. The lions couldn't hurt this group of pokemon, especially the regi trio as their bodies were beyond anything the lions could hope to damage. The lions were basically throwing themselves against indestructible walls.
A lion tried to bite Registeel's face and for its teeth to shatter. Registeel then backhanded the lion, killing it with its immense strength. Regirock who was behind Registeel stomps its foot and a line of Stone Edge appears in front of it killing any lion that were in front of Regirock. Regice who was at the side of Regirock and Registeel fired a Blizzard in a straight line killing ten of thousands of lions.
The lions could do no harm to the regis as even when that got close the bodies of the regis were just too tough to harm, and if they tried they would only harm themselves.
As the regi trio fought the lions Regirock felt something land on its head. Looking up it saw that it was raining suddenly. The other regi noticed this too and stopped their fighting. The lions don't stop attacking the regis, but the lions attacks were not even felt by the regis, and all the lions did was hurt themselves trying to kill the regis.
Suddenly a VERY loud roar was heard from miles away. It was so loud that the lions were momentarily the lions had to stop attacking as their ears bleed. The Regi quickly recognized this roar, as it was a roar that came from a legendary pokemon they recognized.
Far far away from almost any other pokemon, was a pokemon who had reached its limits with its patience. The area was nothing but a raging sea that was as far as the eye could see. Lions were struggling to keep their heads above the water. As waves after waves hit them threatening to drown them.
Kyogre swam in the middle of this awful storm, and saw that lions were drowning by the tens of millions, if not more. Kyogre had been one of the few pokemon to be teleported alone, away from most pokemon at the beginning of the fight.
It had no problems dealing with the lions, as its body was more durable than any creature should be. It was able to take hits from its rival Groudon and keep going. So tiny animals with only their claws and teeth to fight were literally nothing to it.
So why was Kyogre mad?
Well at the beginning when it was teleported it was quickly covered by the lions. It had no trouble freeing itself from them, and started attacking back. But as it continued to attack the lions never stopped coming. And to Kyogre this wasn't a battle, but rather being swarmed by a bunch of insects. A swarm that would never go away no matter how much you swipe at them. Kyogre at the beginning tried to hold back most of its power, so as to not accidentally hurt the other pokemon that were on this planet too. But Kyogre wasn't the most patient pokemon. And this so-called battle couldn't end fast enough for it likely. So it started to use more of its power. And before long it had created a literal raging ocean and the lions were trying their best not to be swallowed up by the raging waves.
But those waves Kyogre created weren't normal waves, and they were only getting worse. Kyogre started to feel more of its power coming out and before long it wanted to go all out.
Kyogre started to glow and could feel the power it had long kept sealed come out. In a giant burst of energy, Primal Kyogre emerged from the burst of energy and roared even louder than it did before. Its roar was heard across the continent it was originally on, but was now nothing but raging ocean that got worse by the second. Which resulted in the death of billions of lions.
On the other side of the planet Groudon roared in anger. It was literally on a land of dead lions. It only got angrier when it saw the lions never stopped coming. Groudon fired a Solar Beam turning the lions into dust. It was annoyed at first when this all started. It had been peacefully sleeping in its cave when suddenly it was here, fighting a bunch of weak creatures. Then it only got angrier as this continued on. It just wanted to sleep, dammit!
Groudon roared with all of its anger, and started to glow. In a burst of energy it too transformed into its primal state. The temperature of the sun increased drastically, to the point where an ocean that was hundreds of miles away, started to boil. And the land literally caught on fire. Lions who were far away started to faint from heat stroke, and some were even catching on fire. This too resulted in the death of billions of lions.
High in the air, so high that there wasn't even any air at all, Rayquaza watched the planet from space. It could see the effects that Kyogre and Groudon had on the planet. One side of the planet was being flooded and the other side was being cooked alive. Rayquaza stared at the planet wondering how it should deal with this. On one claw it could let it happen as it could tell that thanks to the efforts of Kyogre and Groudon, the lions were dying by the billions. And if it kept up, billions of more lions would die.
On the other claw all those pokemon who were stuck on that planet would die too. Sure some of them would be fine, like the other powerful legendaries would be fine. But all the other pokemon would not be able to survive the efforts of Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon for long.
Rayquaza then looked behind it and saw the creation trio and Arceus just watching the planet like it was. Rayquaza had taken to the skies at the beginning of this fight. It even went to space and rained down Hyper Beams from space. A tactic that seemed to being working as every Hyper Beam it shot from space hit like a atomic bomb going off with the beams made contact with the planet.
It eventually stopped as it saw that it was also killing the pokemon too, so it stopped attacking and figured it would be best not to interfere till it was needed. Which was what the creation trio and Arceus were doing too.
When they had appeared Rayquaza asked them why they weren't participating in the fight. And their answer was they weren't needed for this fight and just decided to watch from afar.
Rayquaza looked at them as if asking should it, do something about the destruction that Kyogre and Groudon were causing, but they gave no answer. Growling in annoyance it turned its head back to face the planet, and found some lions that were floating in space.
If Rayquaza could, it would raise an eyebrow at what it was seeing. How did lions get into space like that?
"Cool."
Rayquaza heard someone say, but it was said telepathically. Turning its head to see who had said that, it saw Hoopa. Who was currently eating popcorn and drinking a smoothie. Hoopa had left the planet when the effects of Kyogre and Groudon had started. Hoopa continued watching the state of the planet before noticing the floating lions.
"Hmm, Hoopa thought Hoopa had sent them deeper into space. Oh well." Hoopa said to itself telepathically.
Rayquaza just stared at Hoopa for a bit before shaking its head, and facing the planet once again.
On the side where Ground was on, Reshiram could feel the planet getting hotter by the minute. Looking down it saw lions and even a few pokemon who were fighting the lions, die from the intense heat, being cooked alive like they were in an oven. Reshiram saw the land around it catch fire, and it even saw an ocean evaporating.
Reshiram was thankful, unaffected by the sudden change in the atmosphere. Its body was basically fire proof with its typing and its god level status of power. But that could be said for all the other pokemon. Reshiram looked down to the ground and saw nothing but burning bodies of lions and a few pokemon. At this rate more and more lions would be dying off. Unfortunately that meant any pokemon who couldn't handle the intense heat would be dying off too. But Reshiram was not too bothered by this. It knew that not all the pokemon were going to survive this battle. Even if Groudon didn't use its full power, pokemon were going to die anyway, thanks to the sheer numbers of the lions.
With this thought it flew away from the now burning continent.
On the side where Kyogre was on, Zekrom flew across the now raging sea and raging storm. It saw nothing but water for miles away with no end in sight. Everything about Kyogre's storm was awful. And any land that had been here was now miles below the raging sea. The lions couldn't handle the sudden change of being on land to now being on sea.
To make it all the more worse for the lions, the sea was a constant storm of giant waves big enough to sink cities or flood islands. Even the rain was too harsh for any normal creature to handle. The rain honestly felt like bullets hitting them, rather than small drops of water.
Thankfully Zekrom's body was more than capable of handling this awful storm. Zekrom saw something in the distance high in the air trying to handle this storm. Zekrom could now see that it was a Lugia who was trying and failing to fly properly thanks to the unreal speed of the wind.
So even a legendary like Lugia could barely handle this storm huh.
Zekrom looked away from the struggling Lugia to the sea that was below it, and even saw a few water type pokemon struggling to swim in the ocean's strong current. Zekrom just shook its head, only the most powerful of pokemon could hope to survive this unholy weather.
By now, thanks to the world changing powers of Kyogre and Groudon most of the surviving pokemon that were fighting the lions were now dying from intense heat or unforgiving weather. Most of the pokemon on the planet were dead, and even a couple of legendaries were killed by Kyogre and Groudon power.
Only the strongest pokemon were alive now.
Necrozma fired another Photon Geyser at an army of lions. Despite the lions dying by the billions thanks to the effects of Kyogre and Groudon, the lion's numbers were strong. The sound of something hitting the ground hard enough to cause an earthquake was heard. Turning to see what had caused that sound, Necrozma saw Solgaleo in a newly formed crater that it had made with its use of Sunsteel Strike. Hitting the ground with the force of a meteor.
Solgaleo flew up and roared in triumphant as it saw the lion's number were going down a bit. A giant blue explosion was seen not too far away, Lunala fired its Moongeist Beam at the lions from above.
Necrozma, now seeing that both Solgaleo and Lunala were in the same place, cried out to them. Both turned their heads to face Necrozma and Necrozma cried again this time more aggressively.
Both Solgaleo and Lunala knew what Necrozma wanted and while they would prefer not to, fighting Necrozma in this battle would be counterproductive.
Seeing as neither of them seem like they were going to fight back, Necrozma flew and grabbed both Solgaleo and Lunala by the head in its massive claws, and began absorbing both of their lights.
Necrozma felt like it was high off of power as it continued to absorb the near limitless sources of light that was in front of it.
And a moment later it was done.
A giant pillar of light came from the spot that the three of them were. The pillar of light went up so high that a certain space dragon could see it from orbit.
"AMAZING!" Hoopa shouted telepathically as loud as it could. Which caused Rayquaza to flinch slightly. But Rayquaza's attention was back on the giant pillar of light that pierced the planet's atmosphere. A moment later the pillar of light disappeared but a strong source of light could be seen on the spot where the pillar first appeared, even from space.
Necrozma, now in its ultra form roared with all of its might. Now in its full power, it flew across the battlefield firing lasers from all over its body. The lasers went for miles on end disintegrating anything that was unfortunate enough to get hit by them.
Necrozma then fired a Photon Geyser in a random direction, the Photon Geyser exploded into a giant pillar of light like the one Ultra Necrozma came from, but was much smaller. Necrozma then flew high into the air and should shine brighter than it did before. The amount of light it was emanating was enough to melt anything within miles of it. The amount of light was so great it was like a literal star was on the planet now.
Rayquaza looked at the planet and came to one conclusion.
It was screwed.
The planet Rayquaza was now looking at was completely unrecognizable from how it was in the beginning of this fight. On one side of it it was nothing but ocean and on the other side of it, it was nothing but land. And the middle of it was currently experiencing a barrage of explosions of light.
Looking to Hoopa, Rayquaza saw that Hoopa had abandoned its popcorn and smoothies and was staring intently at what was happening on the planet with wide eyes and a dropped jaw.
Rayquaza turned to look at the creation trio and Arceus who were all still doing nothing but staring at the planet in the same manner that they have been for the whole time. Turning back to face the planet, Rayquaza could see other pokemon flying away from the planet.
Rayquaza saw other legendaries that were capable of surviving space, leave the planet. It saw Mew, Jirachi, Deoxys and a few other pokemon coming to them. It even saw Zekrom and Kyurem, who had absorbed Reshiram to become White Kyurem with them. They stopped and turned to see the state of the planet and just like Hoopa, some of them were shocked, some just shook their heads as if they knew something like this would happen. And others just stood there staring dumbfounded.
Just when it looked like things couldn't get worse for the planet two more pillars of light came from it. One was at the top of the planet and was green and the other one was at the bottom and was a bright red.
Back on the ruined planet not many things were alive now. Almost all of the pokemon were dead, and most of the surviving ones left the now dying planet as fast as they could. On the plus side for pokemon, billions upon tens billions of lions were not dead, and billions of more would follow suit.
Atop of the planet was Perfect Zygarde who had to change into its full power to survive the state of the planet. It saw that the lions that were left were not doing well in this dying world now. Lions were being killed by scorching heat, massive storms, an apocalypse of light, and who knows what else.
Seeing that the lions on the ground were not able to form any resistance to the ever changing planet, Zygrade saw that it would be a mercy to end this. Zygarde started to glow and from it came out thousands of small glow green dots. The Thousand Arrows rain down on the surviving lions. Each of the dots killed many lions and given that they were thousands of them it was a rain of death for the lions. Once the attack stopped all that could be seen was a field of craters. Zygarde looked around and noticed that it could see any living thing near it.
It seemed like the battle was near its end.
On the bottom of the planet, it was experiencing a storm, but not a storm like Kyogre's storm. No, this was a different kind of storm. The sky was covered in dark red clouds, and in the middle of it all a massive pokemon.
Eternatus, now in its true form, Eternamax was delivering beams of death from above. It cried loudly and its fingers had glowing pink orbs above them. And in the middle of the hand-like form that Eternatus was in, a giant pink orb was forming and a second later the orbs released beams of energy. The beam scorched the land and with the size of the beams, the beams covered a lot of ground.
Eternatus kept doing this, to the point where there was nothing by giant holes that were so deep that you couldn't see the bottom of them. Eternatus would just spam attacks everywhere, it didn't even seem to care if its attacks hit anything or not, it was just rampaging now taking its anger out on this poor world.
Eternatus roared again and started to fly away from its spot, seeming like it wanted to destroy more of this world.
Hoopa looked at the dead planet and then turned to face the pokemon that were with it. Outside of the creation trio, Arceus, and Rayquaza, there was a good handful of pokemon that were left.
Hoopa could see legendaries like Jirachi, Deoxys floating together. Hoopa also saw something that made it a bit confused, and that was the presents of two Mewtwo. Hoopa first thought that was Mew transforming into Mewtwo for whatever reason. But it saw Mew and the two Mewtwo together earlier, so it couldn't be Mew copying Mewtwo.
Speaking of Mew, Mew currently had several pokemon that were in pink orbs. Mew had gone to go and try to save as many pokemon as it could. Mew managed to save a few of the non legendaries pokemon from the dying planet they were on and were kept in sealed orbs to protect them from the airless void of space.
Mew saved a good number of legendaries too. Legendaries like Xerneas, Yveltal and Regigigas. Legendaries that were strong enough to survive the unforgiving fate of the planet long enough for Mew to come to their rescue. And a few weaker legendaries too, like Lugia and Manaphy. Who were lucky enough to be on Kyogre side of the planet when Kyogre and Groudon decided not to give a damn about how their power could affect other pokemon when the battle wasn't ending fast enough for them likely.
Hoopa then looked at Rayquaza to see that Rayquaza was just looking at the planet with a disappointing look. Likely because of the destruction Kyogre and Groudon caused. Even if it wasn't their planet that was destroyed, Rayquaza still didn't like the idea that this could happen to their planet should the more powerful legendaries go crazy.
Hoopa then looked to the creation trio and Arceus, who all have not moved an inch during all of this.
"So, did we win?" Hoopa asked telepathically to the trio and Arceus, but everyone there could hear Hoopa's question.
For the first time since all of this, Arceus moved to look at Hoopa for a moment, before looking at the planet that was destroyed by the powers of, world destroying gods. Arceus closed its eyes trying to sense if any of the lions were still alive. After a moment Arceus opened its eyes and two words.
"We've won."
