Editor-san: Q/A & Escape!

It's been a little bit since we've been able to talk, this is the first time I've had the ability to post directly to the Mili account in over 2 months now.

I've got a lot of things sorted out since then, but I'll leave that until after the Q/A is done.

Here you go! I'll just place this tape in the player real quick an–

Author Mili Logs 10/14/2019— *chkk* *SHHhhhhhhhhhhh* "Ok Mili, now that we got your rights out of the way it's time to begin your interrogation." The speaker plays the sound of clinking metal chains. "It's not like I have a choice! Ask away, spider-lover scum!" "Ehem… ok… first question." Footsteps could be heard approaching the microphone as they faded away. There is a short pause before a familiar male voice begins. "How's it going?" The speaker played more metal chains clinking as clothes rustled. "What?" "It's me Editor-san, just answer the questions, they can't actually understand English so just act like I'm interrogating you. Do you know how long it took me to qualify for an interrogation job?" "Umm… well… I'm doing pretty good all things considered, I'm in college with two majors and I'm honestly quite swamped! Midterms are coming so I'm really happy about the month break I took to breathe!" "Well you can't just give me an answer! Protest or something!" "What am I supposed to do?" "I don't know! YELL! "LIKE THISSS?!" "YEA THAT WORKS! HERE!" Sounds of a chair violently moving backwards along with the sound of footsteps walking across the room. "LET ME SLAP YOU!" "WHAT!" A lone slapping of skin reverberates through the room. Lone footsteps walk back to the other side of the room as the chair slides again. "Good. Anyways I forgot to mention that some of these are coming from our commenters so make sure you answer as best as you can so I can post it." "Next question, What inspired you to make the Yurin character?" "Yurin's character was based on my frustrations in my hero academia not having a strong female character. I usually read fanfiction to ease that frustration, but I find that authors tend to overshoot their character's strengths, and I didn't like that." "Did you really need to slap me?" "No, not really, I just thought it was just appropriate" Sounds of flipping paper fill the room as footsteps can be heard in the distance. "Are you planning any romances in Odd Hero?" "This story is about heroism and strength, so there won't be romance here. But if you stick around, I have some floating ideas for a romance sequel." "What do you think of Yurin's current power scaling compared to the other main characters?" "Unfortunately, Yurin is very high in terms of strength in comparison to her peers, but the great thing about it is that she's only there because of her work ethic! There's actually nothing special about her quirk, it's just the fact that she works hard to make it work! In essence, she might not scale as hard as Bakugou, Midoriya, or Todoroki." "Listen to me Mili-oneesan, the second we finish this Q/A that wall to the right of us will burst open, when that happens close your eyes and jump through with all of your power. Nod if you understand." There is a short silence. "Next question, people are wondering if Yurin will open up to someone about her trauma. Will she be gaining a support group in the future?" "The path to mental health recovery is confiding in someone! Expect something like that soon." "What improvements are you hoping to see in Yurin's depictions of mental illness?" "Yurin's mental illness is something I like to take seriously. I've recently gotten in contact with a trauma counseling therapist. Through conversations, I have been asking her a bunch of questions about the viability of healing big T trauma using different methods. I just want to learn more about the recovery process, and what it might feel like to have PTSD so I can more accurately depict symptoms." "This one was popular, can Yurin control the width/diameter/radius of the cylinders she makes? Or is it really just a cylinder?" "She can control the diameter of the cylinders as they come out of her skin! So you're definitely onto something!" "Are you planning to release this as a book when you're done? Are you planning on rewriting it for the re-release?" "When I finish this book, I really want to print and book bind a physical copy. But depending on how I feel at that time, I'm thinking of writing an original story, or a romance sequel for this book." "Just a few more questions left, I've already unlocked your handcuffs, just keep your hands underneath the table for now and be ready." Sounds of chains falling could be heard through the speaker "Who is your favorite My Hero side character?" "My favorite character is actually Tamaki (Suneater). I really relate to his social anxiety. Big props to Mirio for making me laugh a lot too!" "Wait, what are they using these questions for?" "I don't know. They just asked." There is a short moment of silence. "I still think Tsuyu is best girl but OK, moving on." "Is there any reason why you chose PTSD for Yurin?" "PTSD was a natural result of what happened in the prologue, but if you're asking why I thought she had to go through a school shooting? Well at the time it was common in America, and I'm under the impression that a true hero is strong when their fight is close to personal. I wanted my character's motivations to be deeper than just wanting to meet her favorite characters (which is why I didn't want her to know about the world). I think it's even more amazing that her circumstances have led her to be a hero, and that she chose this life without thinking about what was in it for her. It showcases her selflessness!" Alarms begin to ring around the room as an announcer speaks through a microphone on the ceiling. "WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! A breach was detected in the perimeter! All agents to battle stations!" A very calm male voice continues questioning "Ehem… The last question so get ready… Are there any spoilers you're willing to tell us about the future of Yurins story?" "Sure! The main thing to look out for is—" BOOM! A deafeningly loud explosion is heard throughout the room as rocks crumble next to the microphone. "Time to go!" *chkk*End of Log—

OK! Now that we got that Q/A out of the way, it's time for an explanation.

Since I've only been able to talk through tapes, it's been really hard to find out what you guys think of these little adventures of mine.

So it's time for me to ask my own questions. What do you guys think of my little Editor-san adventure series? I really wanted to make something interesting even when the story wasn't going on. So while it may or may not have anything to do with My Hero I still hope you guys still enjoy it.

Now that I've handled the United Spiders Association and retrieved Mili-oneesan, we're planning to post again Next Week! Celebrate! we're coming back!

Feel free to ask me questions about my Editor-san Adventures. Do you want to get a recap of my adventures as a future bonus chapter?

Anyways, with peace restored, it looks like things are going to go back to normal from me and Author Mili.

With that in mind, look forward to the next chapter and…

I hope you have a Great Day! - Editor-san
