Chapter 5- The Training

"So Toothless be it" Hiccup said and patted the Night fury on the top of the Head and Valka smirked at the sight of the little Night fury sleeping on the lap of his son. The mother of the little Night fury had a bad wound on its chest. A scar which opened again and its bleeding bad. Valka tried her best to seal the wound but the wound was just to long and it bleeded more and more. "This seems like a sword cut or something like that" Valka whispered to herself.

When the baby Night fury was sleeping Hiccup moved slowly away and laid the large head of the baby on the soft ground and walked to his mother. "Mommy is she going to be okay?" Hiccup asked her and she looked at her. She wiped away a tear and patted the now dead mother of the Night fury. "She… She is now by grandpa, Hiccup" She said in a broken voice and walked over to the sleeping baby and took it and walked up to Cloud jumper. Cloud jumper lowered his head and Valka and Hiccup got up on him and the massive Dragon flapped it's for huge wings and shot into the air.

Some time later they have reached the shelter Valka had build up after she left Berk a long time ago. Valka jumped off Cloud Jumper and Hiccup followed her. Valka took Toothless and walked over to a cave and laid the sleeping baby dragon on a soft bed out of grass. The dragon yawned and rolled over to the left and slept again.

"Hey guys" Astrid greeted the gang as she came into the Arena. "Hey Astrid" they all replied. Gobber entered the Arena. "Today in Dragon training we're taking in the deadly Nadder" He said and walked up to the cage. The Dragon started to run against the door and shooting its spines which one of them penetrated until the tip looked out of the door.

"In your fighting stance, may the best Viking win today" Gobber said as he pulled a leaver which activated the cage system and opened the door. The Nadder busted out of the Cage and lunged at the Vikings. A maze was built up in the Arena to train hiding in the blind spot and then strike. The Nadder locked on to Snotlout and fired its spines at him and hit him in the shield.

The kids panicked and ran wild around. The Nadder attacked one after another and the teens either dodged its fire or they shielded themselves from the fire or the spines.

"I got this babe" Snotlout said and pushed Astrid to the side and threw his mace but missed the Dragon completely and the Nadder laughed at the try of the Viking boy. "The sun blinded me okay? What should I do? Turn off the sun? I mean yeah I could do that but I'm currently out of time" He said and followed Astrid who ran of to dodge the Nadder attack.

Astrid had enough of the running and she turned around and threw her Axe. Snotlout and the other teens including Goober watched the Axe flying towards the Nadder. The Nadder got its head down and tried to shoot the Axe with its spines but the Axe was faster and had hit the dragon in the right leg and the dragon collapsed on to its right side. Gobber came down and dragged the Nadder back to it's cage and after pulling out the Axe and closed the heavy doors.
"Good work Astrid" Gobber said astonished and Astrid walked up to her Axe and picked it up. She looked over to Goober and nodded. The teens all gasped for air and clutched onto her weapon grips. "Yeah babe good work, why wont we train tog- "Snot tried to wrap his arm around her but his arm got caught mid air by Astrid and twisted around and then she threw him to the ground.

"Don't touch me!" She hissed at him and he just moaned in pain. After that Astrid ran into the forest and to the cove where she took out the journals of Hiccup. She sat down and leaned at a rock and started to swipe through them.

She saw multiple pictures, portraits of her how he stood there with her battle Axe. There where multiple pictures of her face too. Then there where the imfimous inventions of his wich let her chuckle as she remembered how he sometimes destroyed the whole Village because his plan completely back fired. A tear started to form in her eyes as she remembered the good moments she had with him. He wasn't exactly that Viking all thought she wouls be friends with or train together. No. Because he was the perfect man and in her eyes he was more Viking than anybody else she knew. She started to cry as she remembered his sarcastic manner and his cute little freckles all on his face. She thought about how he would bring her a smile on her face and how he would be by her on her lowest when no one was there for her and at her highest to support her to go even higher. At that day when he left she wanted to confest her love for him but then his father disowned him and exiled him in front of her eyes.

She pulled her knees close to her and started to cry even more. "I'm going to find you Hiccup" She said between her sobs.
