Chapter 6- Hurt by Family

Several months passed since Hiccup left Berk with his mother. He and Toothless came each other closer and they trust each other more. Hiccup's mother was on a flight above the Island. More Dragons which where saved by Valka settled on the Island and helped her on her chores and they all built out the Island to a small village inhabited by Dragons.

Hiccup was playing with Toothless fetch with a stick. His Mother landed on Cloud Jumper and started to chuckle at the sight of the Baby Night Fury catching a stick and running back to her son. "Alright boys time for dinner" She said and threw a bag full of fish to the ground. She took some sticks and placed them in a circle. She called in a deadly Nadder and told him to lit a fire.

After the fish was ready Hiccup and Valka ate it with some bread Valka took at the last raid when she raided a village.

Berk

"Stoick, sir. We lost 2 dozen men at the last search for your so-... for Hiccup" A Viking said to Stoick and he nodded. "I see. Prepare our men for the next raid. I want them all to be ready if the Dragons return. And after that we're going to search again for Hiccup" Stoick replied. "Sir, wouldn't it be better when we consider Hiccup as dead and move on for the search for the Nest?" The Viking asked Stoick and Stoick glared at him. "Are you really questioning my decisions" Stoick asked him threateningly back. "No Sir" the Viking replied and put his hands up. "Good now do what I have said you" Stoick ordered him and the Viking nodded and left.

Astrid woke up and walked down the stairs only to see her parents waiting in the living room. She sighed and rolled her eyes and started to climb back the stairs to her room.

"Astrid, honey. Please wait. Let's talk" her mother said and Astrid stopped in her tracks.

"You want to talk? About what? Haven't you already done enough damage?" She shot back without even turning around.

"Astrid we are worried about you. About how you are treating us like complete strangers" her Father now said to her.

"Really again this topic? We already talked about that. What now? You only want the best for me?" She now turned around and her voice full of anger.

"Astrid please. We want to be your parents again. What should we do to make up to you?" Her Mother asked her.

"Hmmm let me see. Ahh now I know. You can start with not interfering in my life anymore" Astrid replied but she yelled the last sentence and walked back up to her room and smashed the door shut. Her father busted though the door and started to yell at her.

"YOUNG LADY YOU'RE GOING TO START BEHAVING NOW AND YOU'RE GOING TO DO WHAT IS TOLD YOU"

"DAD LEAVE, I DON'T WANT TO TALK WITH YOU ABOUT THAT!" she yelled back at him.

Her father raised his arm and smacked her across the face. She held her cheek where her father had smacked her. She stared at her father with wide eyes and he stared back at her realizing what he had just done.

"Did you really just…" tears forming in her eyes. Not because of the pain but because the fact that she just got hit by her father.

"Astrid I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I-…" He replied but Astrid cut him off by raising and arm.

"Just leave" She said with a broken voice. Her father slowly turned around and left the room closing the door behind him.

That same day she left through her window to the Arena for a little training.

She had her Axe in her hand and walked towards the Arena. On her way she walked into Stoick who was walking around the Village with Snotlout on his side since he was the new heir.

"Astrid! You where the one I searched" Stoick called her

"Yes sir?" Astrid stopped and turned around

"I need you to follow me and Snotlout" Stoick said to her. She nodded and followed them

"You know Astrid that Snotlout is the next Chief and when he finally is, he can decide who he wants as his wife. And he said to me multiple times that he wants you as his wife" Stoick said to her and her eyes widened. Snotlout looked over to her with a stupid smirk on his face and then made a kissing face.

"With all due respect, NO sir. I will not marry him even if he is the last man on this world" She said and Stoick glared at her.
"What did you just say?" He asked her with a threating voice.

"Sir I have loved another boy and you took him from me"
