In the Rebellion's base on Atollon, there lies a training room the remaining Jedi use. Ahsoka and the Seventh Sister have been sparring for more than a half hour.

"I sense you still depend on anger to aid yourself in a fight," Ahsoka said during a rest.

Seventh Sister squinted her eyes. "In a fight that is all I know. All that I used to assist in my power… Converting my emotions to power with my skills made me more powerful than with the Jedi."

"So you were told," Ahsoka replied. "But you don't fight alongside the Sith anymore. Most of your life you were consumed by the dark side. You had the teachings of the Jedi order forced from you at a young age."

"Well the Sith had me on a leash for most of my life, one of their former pupils almost killed me." Seventh Sister then thought about Ezra. She was saved by a member of the light. Sure, he demonstrated some immaturity from his age, but he had determination and a backbone to represent a movement that claims its fight for freedom.

Freedom. She never knew what it truly felt like. Her parents allowed her to be taken away by the Jedi when she could barely speak. Reflecting back, the temple was all she knew as a child. All her friends and acquaintances were there.

After Order 66, she fled with her master to the rural part of the planet they were stationed. She felt a darkness she never felt before. When Vader struck her master down she felt the anger, the fury. She felt more powerful and determined than ever before. She struck down clone after clone.

The more she went on, the more approval she sensed from Vader. Once she started wearing down, Vader saw enough. He force pushed her to the ground.

"Restrain her, she is to be captured alive…"

Seventh Sister was forced to serve the dark side, getting a level of authority from certain parts of the Empire. The power and fear made her stick it out.

Ahsoka sensed her conflict. The trouble with letting go of the past. "You used negative emotions to fuel your power and fight. Since you started using positive emotions again, like protecting Ezra, it has assisted your turn back to the light."

Seventh raised a brow. "It's not like that with Bridger." She knew she was lying to Tano. "Also, the Jedi order made us not use our emotions to assist our power. We were meant to be emotionless and defensive."

Ahsoka reflected on Seventh's response. She knew the most powerful Jedi, loved and respected by the Galaxy. Anakin Skywalker.

Ahsoka knew Anakin had feelings for Padme Amidala. He would do anything for those he loved and cared about, even if it threatened his life, livelihood, and wellbeing. His emotions allowed him to go his all in protecting people he views as family.

If Seventh can't prevent herself from using her emotions, then she can learn from Ahsoka's experiences with Anakin.

"Spectre Seven, what do you think of my master?"

Seventh Sister thought about her previous life as a Jedi. It is hard to remember, but she has to admit she felt more at peace. She had people she can depend on, like the Ghost Crew.

Anakin Skywalker. Her master said he was reckless, but he ended up getting the job done. One of the most successful generals during the Clone Wars.

Seventh Sister respected his power, determination, and bond he had with his men. When it came to her master's troops, it felt strictly professional.

The "Hero with No Fear" was his nickname on the Holonews. For good reason! She always heard chatter and gossip about the Jedi around the Galaxy. The Jedi Council was frowned upon for not doing enough, especially when it came to the still enslaved.

The last time she heard about him was from Bridger. He uses Skywalker's holovideos to improve his lightsaber defense training.

Seventh Sister finally spoke after deep thought.

"I looked up to him. He was successful in his fight against the Separatists. Jedi frowned on his recklessness, but he was loved around the Galaxy. His love around the Galaxy beats any of the Jedi who were skeptical of his tactics."

Seventh continued.

"I feel like after the Jedi bombing, the only person preventing unrest was him. Not directly, but indirectly. The love, respect, and admiration for him around the Galaxy prevented the Order from being removed earlier."

Ahsoka never heard this perspective before. Anakin was considered "The Chosen One" by the Jedi. With this power and status, he made trillions still have that little faith left in the Order.

"Anakin loved and cared for his circle. He would be willing to risk his own life and livelihood to protect us. He used his emotions for the greater good. To fight to protect what is right, who he cared for the most."

"So, what is your point?" Seventh asked.

Ahsoka sighed from her impatience. "I am saying you can use the right emotions to have the power you are used to. Use your urge to protect those you love and free the shackles of force sensitives under the Empire."

Love? Seventh Sister doesn't know if that's the right word. She has her own fun with Bridger and considers him her protector.

"Look Tano, I never knew what it was like to make my own decisions. I was forced to join the Jedi. Forced to join the Empire. Now, due to my crimes as part of the Inqusitorious, I am forced to use my power to serve the Rebellion."

"I just want a peaceful life away from the Core, even beyond the Outer Rim if possible."

Ahsoka raised a brow, "There's more to your dream isn't there?"

"Uh…" Seventh felt vulnerable and stuttered. "Ok, I have my fun with him. Also, remember that he saved my life."

Ahsoka nodded. Based on Seventh's personality, she won't budge further.

Seventh Sister continued sparring with Ahsoka. She started to daydream on her end goal, her peaceful life with Ezra, but she has to help these Rebels defeat her torturers.

Seventh was on the defense. Ahsoka signaled her to stop. "You are distracted," Ahsoka says firmly.

Seventh tried to redirect the conversation. "How… how did you turn your sabers white? I know you got them from an Inquisitor, but how did you unbleed it?" Seventh said heavily breathing.

Ahsoka knew her lightsabers were not what distracted Seventh, but she bit at her wonder nonetheless.

"I was isolated, betrayed, and had to hide as long as I have been in the Order. Back when I defeated the Inquisitor, I had to let go of the hate and anger I had for the Empire. Let go as in not using it as fuel to assist in my fight."

Seventh Sister looked down in guilt.

"I believe in redemption, but at the same time I am defending lives being threatened, whether it be slaves, force sensitives, or people who had family members executed by the Empire."

"Spectre Seven, I will help you heal your crystals." Seventh Sister lifted her head in surprise.

Ahsoka smiled, "I think that we are done for the evening." She cleaned up the training room and walked to the exit.

She turned her head to Seventh Sister still gathering her items, "Have fun with Ezra tonight."

Spectre Seven smiled back, rolling her eyes.
