Seventh Sister and Ezra were at breakfast together in the barracks. She learned about the outcome of the Sith Holocron.
"So you're saying there's a being in Atollon that represents neither light nor dark?" Seventh Sister asked. Ezra nodded in response.
"Psh… my first time hearing something like that. All my life I dealt with Jedi and then being trained under the Sith."
"Well we as force sensitives could use both light and dark," Ezra replied.
"Maybe, but it seems we are obligated to serve one side."
Ezra pondered in thought. "Well, I never met this Bendu myself, only Kanan has. Although I would still like to meet him to know what he's like."
There was a momentary silence. Ezra came to a realization. "Hey! Do you think Bendu can turn your sabers white?"
Seventh reflected back on trying to heal her red kyber crystals with Ahsoka. She has been impatient, while Ahsoka kept giving suggestions.
*FLASHBACK*
In a previous conversation, Ahsoka said, "With this anger and resentment Spectre Seven, no matter if it's with the Jedi or Vader who tortured you, it's preventing you from being able to heal the crystals."
Seventh responded, "Well how am I supposed to move on from the Jedi neglect, not being able to protect me, and for Vader who tortured me into the Empire and made me have this voice implant! If we let go, that means letting them fatten their stomachs from the Galaxy."
"We must take action, instead of sitting by like the Jedi taught!"
Ahsoka sighed, "Spectre Seven, the Order showed with the Clone Wars that we must defend and take action only when necessary. The sad reality is that both sides were plagued by the Sith."
"Psh… how the Jedi were so ignorant. I've seen Vader alongside the Emperor. Vader went to the Jedi Temple and slaughtered all the Jedi there right? Vader and the Emperor were in bed together before the Purge."
Seventh continued, "Although I thought Dooku was the leader of the Sith when I was a youngling. This whole plot still confuses me."
It's understandable, since the Inquisitorious's major role was to eliminate Jedi, not to be told how the Sith infiltrated the Republic. They were told the same line of the Jedi trying to kill the Chancellor, giving him an excuse to take out the entire order.
"I remember I was fighting in Mandalore. It was the end of the Clone Wars. I was talking to Obi-Wan, and he said that Anakin killed Count Dooku. And when I confronted Maul, he said that Sidious was behind the Clone Wars and the purge of the Jedi."
Seventh came to a realization. She replied, "The Emperor claimed the Jedi tried to murder him. If that is true, then he must be the Sith Lord. It all makes sense. Vader's his right hand enforcer after all.'
Ahsoka remembered Maul saying Skywalker was meant to be Sidious's new apprentice. She never believed him. She doesn't want to. Maul was right about Palpatine, but not Anakin. It's not possible.
Ahsoka thought about her interactions with Bendu. She found the key to giving Seventh a challenge. The potential to heal her kyber crystals. Although, even Ezra hasn't met Bendu. Ezra is the reason the Seventh Sister followed along to assist the alliance.
*BACK TO PRESENT*
Seventh Sister was caught daydreaming. "Oh shoot, not again." she thought.
Ezra was patient. He doesn't understand what she has been through. He has no reason to have used the Sith Holocron since they were able to avoid Vader on Malachor. Kanan convinced him to let it go of the Sith Holocron. Their push to its pursuit got them into conflict and death.
The Seventh Sister finally broke the silence, "Oh yes Bendu, the one Jarrus gave up the Holocron to…" She felt that they could have utilized it. Still, she couldn't fathom why they gave it up to a force neutral of all people.
"If you could convince your master to let us see him, we could finally get the answers we seek."
"You are trying to get his help to heal your crystals right? Why do you need me to tag along."
"Let's just say I have the sense that I also need your support in getting me to heal them."
Ezra was still surprised at her conclusion. "Well, maybe he could get the key to destroying the Sith," he thought.
