This fanfiction is about if Ezra found Luke on Tatooine. This chapter is heavily based on it.

After some convincing, Ahsoka and Kanan allowed Spectre Seven and Ezra to meet Bendu. They wanted to see if Seven's crystals could be healed. The four made it to the sandy basin, surrounded by rigid cliffs on all sides.

Kanan called out, "Bendu!"

Bendu leaned forward and rested his fists on the ground. "Kanan Jarrus and Ahsoka Tano," he rumbled.

"You have both returned."

He narrowed his eyes at Ezra and Spectre Seven. "And you have brought two."

"We need your help," Kanan said.

"Do you both seek to relieve yourself of your responsibility?"

Bendu looked directly at Spectre Seven. "I see you're in conflict between light and dark. Can't choose between the two?"

"Ye… yes. I heard you are in the middle?" she gripped her crimson kyber crystals tight.

Bendu inclined his chin and peered down at her for a long moment. "I do not interfere," he finally said. "I promote neither light nor dark. I am in the middle. Perhaps I can provide some guidance."

Before the Seventh Sister could ask what she came for, Bendu stood up and stepped aside to reveal a series of caves at the far end of the ravine. "I don't think-" Kanan began to say, but Bendu stopped him.

"She will be fine," he said. "Enter, the secret you seek awaits."

The Seventh Sister was tapping her foot and finally took a step forward, kyber crystals tight in her hand.

Ezra reached out and grabbed her shoulder.

"You… you shouldn't-"

"I will be fine Bridger," she interrupted. "You know me," she said with her signature grin.

"Let her go, Ezra," Kanan said.

Releasing her, Ezra stepped away and added, "Just be careful."

Seventh nodded and turned her gaze to the caves. She felt a chill run down her spine. She simultaneously felt anxious and excited. Seventh stepped out of Bendu's shadows and went into the darkness.

The Seventh Sister didn't know where she was. She had entered the caves and traversed down a winding path until her surroundings slowly faded away. None of her senses seemed to work anymore. There was no smell nor feeling. Did her kyber crystals disappear?

"Hello?" she called out.

"Hello… o… o… o."

She tried again.

"Hello!"

The echo of her voice was distorted.

"Vr… vr… roo… roo… roo…"

What was that sound?

"Vr… vr… roo… roo… roo…"

Seventh Sister felt cold, like when she was an Inquisitor. Although, she didn't feel empowered. She felt like she couldn't move.

Dispel your fear. Embrace the Force.

"I'm not afraid," she said.

"This duel is only between me and the boy."

Seventh Sister was taken aback by a red, dual bladed lightsaber from her near-death experience. Suddenly, all sorts of colors flashed before her eyes. Red, white, and electric blue overflowed Seventh's senses. She suddenly found herself unable to breathe.

"Vr… vr… roo… roo… roo…"

Her vision cleared, and the Seventh Sister saw a person in the back of her memory burner. A figure from her former life. An older, Mirialan female.

"I am proud of you. I knew you were going to go past this darkness," her master said smiling.

Seventh Sister felt overjoyed, proud in a humble way. All these years without her. It feels real.

Then, a crimson lightsaber blade quickly went through her Master's chest.

"Master no!" Seventh Sister cried.

Seventh saw the all too familiar figure looming before her. Dressed all in black, the man's face was obscured by an angular mask with blood red lenses.

Seventh looked at the crimson kyber crystals in her hand.

"Let it go…" her master's voice said in her head.

"Here take them! I am not going to impress you with anger and rage anymore!" Seventh threw her kyber crystals at Vader.

The scene dissolved and the Seventh Sister found herself lifted back by an invisible force. Her feet found solid rock and she stabilized himself. Blinking, she realized that she was back in the cave.

It was so real. Her master died in front of her eyes again. Only this time, she did not let her anger and rage get to her. She let go of the crimson crystals that reminded her of the torture and anger she dealt with over the years.

The Seventh Sister sensed a familiar feeling in her hand. Her kyber crystals were still with her?

She opened her hands up. "Oh… my…"

Her kyber crystals are white.

She turned to see a massive creature with five black eyes staring at her.

The spider's pincers began to quiver as it took a step toward her.

"I'm not afraid," she said, his voice clear with confidence.

"I know."

The Seventh Sister opened her eyes. The spiders blinked at her. They stepped aside and allowed a narrow passage for her to walk through.

"You did it?"

It was Ezra. Seventh presented Ezra with her white kyber crystals.

"Well, have to admit it Bridger, I wouldn't be here without you," Seventh responded.

Ezra smiled at her genuine response.

"You can call me Ezra, you know?"

"Come on, let's go," Ezra added. He gently held her hand and guided them out of the cave.
