Izuku is on the ground facing Katuki, a stronger Katsuki with the ability to create explosions from his entire body, not just his palms. This is where the timeline truly differs from the original timeline. As Izuku plans to capture Katsuki, black tendrils come out of his body as violently as they appear. Izuku finds out this is a start of something new... A start for the Six In One

4. The Deal

The Deal

Before the story starts some parts of the show will just be summarized because it will go similar to what happened in canon so I felt no need to rewrite a scene that wasn't even changed

"Oh no, dear boy." Midnight licks her lips. "You and Midoriya will be forced onto the same team!" Midnight told Katsuki the most horrible news in his entire life.

"Teaming up..." Both Izuku and Katsuki looked at each other, not wanting this to be fate. "With him!" Insert that Spider-Man meme.

"Yeah, that's what I just said." Midnight wonders if her students are deaf or something.

Many of the students start to get anxious as these two showed themselves to be one of the top students at UA. So trying to get their headband would be difficult, however, Class 1-A saw this as the perfect opportunity as they know how these two interact with each other.

"Izuku, as a hero, you will be forced to team up with others that may have some disdain for you." Toshinori remembers the last time he teamed up with Endeavor. It was a simple bomb in a building situation, however, Endeavor refuse to cooperate, forcing Toshinori to deal with it himself, not like anyone was going to die with him around anyway.

Katsuki slowly and menacingly approach Izuku and was about to say something before Midnight interrupted that interaction by giving an explanation of how the game will go.

"First years! These are the rules that you'll abide by. The game itself will last 15 minutes. Individual point values will be added together to reach your team total. Everyone will know how much you're worth thanks to your headbands. Swipe as many headbands as you can to raise your team's score. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them." Midnight continues. "And another thing‐‐ Even if your headband gets stolen or your team falls, you can keep playing until time's up."

"It's anyone's game, then." Momo said.

"And since there are 43 contestants, there'll be ten or 12 teams fighting on the field the entire time." Rikidou did the quick math.

"Sounds hard." Yuga was worried about how he'll perform.

"So, if you lose your headband at the beginning, you have more time to make up a plan." Mina started to strategize.

"I dunno, Mina. Maybe we should wait and see how the teams turn out before we start strategizing." Tsuyu wanted to analyze it first before making the call.

"This is going to be rough. You may use your Quirks as much as you like. But there are still rules! Make a team fall on purpose and I'll slap you with a red card. You'll be disqualified!" Midnight look at Katsuki.

"What?! Am not!" Katsuki was right. He wasn't going to make a team fall, he was going to make his team fall.

Midnight set up the timer for 15 minutes "Now, you've got 15 minutes to build your teams. I recommend you get started."

"It doesn't matter how many points my teammates have since I've got so many. And with Katsuki and I being forced onto the same team that means we can only pick 2 more. I just need to make sure to pick the right people." After having a little thought, Izuku came up with a plan. "Okay, I know who I want!"

A little bit later

"Hey! You! Team up with me!" Katsuki grabbed Yuga's collar.

"Um, no." Yuga looked like he was going to piss his pants.

Katsuki pushes Yuga out of the way before walking toward Eijiro.

"Kacchan!" Izuku wanted him to stop and notice him "I have a plan."

Katsuki stopped and only turn his head to say two things to Izuku. "Shut it!"

"Shitty hair!" Katsuki literally grabbed the attention of Eijiro. "Join me!" He tried to give a comforting smile to win over Eijiro's trust, however, his comforting smile look like it was killing the poor boy.

Eijiro slowly backed away. "No, thanks, bro. I uhh..." Eijiro looked around for any available teammates and without thinking grabbed Tokoyami and Mei. "I have a team already!" Dwayne Johnson sweats, hoping Katsuki bought that excuse.

"Actually." Mei pushes Eijiro's hand off her shoulder. "I want to team up with the person in first place!" Mei points at Katsuki with sparkles in her eyes.

"Do I know you?" Katsuki wonders if she was also in his class or not.

"I'm a student in the support course! Name's Mei Hatsume! We haven't met, but I'd like to use your current fame to my personal advantage." Mei was straightforward with her intentions.

"I have a better idea." Katsuki gave a calm smile before yelling at the inventor's face. "How about you learn on not to be a goddamn leech and piss off!" Katsuki fiery walks away from the trio.

He didn't want a support course student using him, a hero course student, which Katsuki believes are far superior since they can actually be heroes.

"Hey, man." Hitoshi tried to strike up a conversation with Katsuki but he just pushes past him.

Izuku sighs seeing Katsuki scaring potential teammates away. "It was bad enough we were made a big target thanks to our 10 million points, but now Kacchan is just scaring away everyone."

Izuku was about to cry as all hope seemed lost but then he heard a voice more comforting than All Might's in this situation.

"Hey, Deku! Let's team up!" Ochako suggested.

"Uraraka! Are you sure? Everyone'll be after me and Kacchan my ten million stupid points!" Izuku cried. He can't believe Ochako will be willing to join his already dysfunctional team. "Tell me you're not kidding!"

"If we run away the whole time, then we'll win, right?" Ochako's plan forgot one fatal flaw.

"Um, you're forgetting about what kind of person Kacchan is." Izuku told her why that wouldn't work at all.

"Oh." Ochako realized. "Anyway, it's better to team up with people you actually like!" Ochako smile.

"Well, I don't like you!" Katsuki yelled at Ochako.

Izuku and Ochako sign at Katsuki's comment and continues their conversation.

"Actually, I wanted to team up with you, too. Thanks a lot. You're right. For a game that requires so much teamwork, it's smart to find people you communicate smoothly with." Izuku looks at Katsuki continuing to harass other contestants to join their team. "However, Katsuki may destroy our chances to team up with others."

"Oh, perfect, you're still looking for partners. And you're one of the stars." Mei slowly hovers to Izuku and Ochako "Team up with me, the person in first place!" She got up on Izuku's face.

"So close! Who are you?" Izuku questions.

"I'm a student in the support course. Name's Mei Hatsume!" She introduced herself.

"Oh! You're that weirdo from the obstacle course." Ochako remembers the weird girl who hovered on the side of pillars.

"We haven't met, but I'd like to use-" She was cut off by Katsuki.

"Our current fame to your personal advantage." Katsuki walks up to Mei and yells. "What did I tell you before! Stop being a goddamn leech! You-" Katsuki was then cut off by Ochako.

"Hold on! Mei here can actually be useful here!" Ochako defends Mei. She turns to Mei and asks. "You said before that support course students are allowed to use gadgets, right?"

"Useless." Katsuki commented

Mei's eyes glimmer when she saw the opportunity to show her babies out. She pulled out her suitcase full of her creations. "The support course specializes in creating equipment that helps heroes deal with their Quirks and enhance their skills."

"Pathetic." Katsuki mumbled

"I packed a ton of powerful babies to bring with me, so I'm sure you'll find something you like floating around my arsenal!" She was showing out her babies when she noticed Izuku's eyes being drawn to a jetpack.

She held up the jetpack in front of him. "Oh, I see one's caught your eye."

"I can already fly!" Katsuki yelled so loud that it causes Izuku to flinch.

"I based this on a certain hero's backpack. Though, of course, I added my own twist." Mei handed it to Izuku for him to obverse the details.

"Wait, I recognize that! Air Jet, the Buster Hero has one of those. I love that guy!" This stirs up a conversation between the two nerds.

"Isn't he awesome?" Mei said as Ochako enter the conversation.

"Got any more cool gears?" Ochako excitedly asked.

"Yeah!" Mei pulls out a streamlined gun. "This is based on Snipe..." The trio continues to ramble on and on, ignoring our favorite chihuahua.

"Ah!" Katsuki aggressively flops to the ground. "They won't listen to me..." Katsuki misses the time in middle school when everyone would do what he said, however, here at UA, people just laugh at him. Was this how Izuku felt, he questioned.

"Is he always like that?" Mei points to Katsuki laying on the floor.

"Oh!" Izuku ran and slid to Katsuki's side to make sure he was ok "Hey Kacchan, listen we-" He got yelled at

"Don't you dare boss me around!" Katsuki didn't want to listen to Izuku's orders.

"Kac-" He was cut off again.

"Shut it!" Katsuki yelled.

Izuku looked around and saw the other contestants laughing and snickering at them. He jolted when he heard Present Mic's voice through the speaker.

"Uh-oh! Seem like Team Midoriya is having a struggle here!" Mic pointed out Team Midoriya's embarrassing display to the entire crowd. "Will this team unite together or will fall and crumble like your credibility, Aizawa?" Mic reminded Shota how he was pressed by the media due to the USJ controversy.

The audience started to laugh at Team Midoriya and Shota's predicament.

"Weren't you crying for me?" Shota reminded Mic how much he was concerned for him during that controversy.

"Hey!" Mic was embarrassed by that comment.

"This is bad! If Kacchan doesn't shape up now, we'll just be sitting ducks!" Izuku started to sweat and panic. No matter what he says, Katsuki will never hear him out. "Guys, I don't think we are able-" Ochako then hushes Izuku.

"Let me try." Ochako was heading toward Katsuki before turning her head and giving a thumbs up to Izuku, reassuring him that everything is going to be ok. She walked up to Katsuki and crouch at his level.

"So, why is he like that?" Mei asked Izuku.

Ochako whispers something in Katsuki's ear.

"Well, when he was young, he was always praised for his amazing Quirk and due to his potential of being a great hero." Izuku muttered out.

"Now he thinks he's hot shit and feels like he doesn't need to listen to anyone." Mei looked down at Katsuki's character.

Just then Katsuki got up from the floor and walked to the group. "Okay, am ready." Katsuki seems cooperative.

"O-oh." Izuku was surprised by Katsuki's willingness to work with him. "Ok, we-" Izuku was wrong.

"I'll only cooperate with you extras if am declared the leader!" Katsuki demanded.

"Alright." Izuku agreed to his terms.

"Didn't even put up a fight." Mei whispers to herself.

"Hey, leech!" Katsuki got Mei's attention "Can I see your things." Katsuki was talking about her suitcase full of gears.

"Sure thing!" Mei gladly handed him the suitcase.

Katsuki analyzed each gear and come up with an idea. "Alright, here's the plan."

The team huddled together, discussing their plan.

Class 1-B discuss their disdain for Class 1-A and their fame, therefore, plan to humiliate them by beating them in the Sports Festival.

"Oh, goody. It's time to get this party started." Midnight stretched.

"After 15 minutes to pick teammates and talk strategy, 12 cavalry teams are preparing to go head‐to‐head!" Mic announce.

"I see some unexpected student combinations." Even with some unexpected teammates that Shota couldn't see coming, the most unbelievable teammates were still Katsuki and Izuku.

"Come on, everyone gets your hands in the air! It's time for an arena‐thumping UA battle royale! Let me hear ya scream!" Mic hyped up the crowd even more.

Izuku was the front horse. The green hero was energized with One for all, ready to destroy anyone in his way.

"You ready, shitty Deku." Katsuki asked.

"Y-yeah." Izuku was caught off guard by how calm Katsuki sounded.

Mei was the right-wing in the back. The pink inventor was all giddy.

"Leech?" Katsuki wanted confirmation.

She laughs and nods in confirmation.

"Round-face?" Katsuki turn to Ochako, who was the left-wing in the back.

"Ready!" She yelled with determination.

"Good." Katsuki's smile stretched ear to ear. "Let's fucking destroy these losers!" The jetpack wearing Katsuki's hands started to spark.

A little bit earlier.

"I chose the three of you because I believe we'll make for the most stable formation possible," Shoto told his team.

"Kaminari's our left wing. He can use his Quirk to keep enemies at bay." He told Denki what his job will be.

"Yaoyorozu, you'll take the right-wing. Focus on insulation and defense." He told Momo what her job will be.

"Iida, you'll take the front. We'll rely on you for mobility and physical defense." He told Tenya what his job will be.

"And you'll be attacking and creating diversions of ice and fire. Is that right?" Tenya wrongly assumes.

"Not quite. When I'm in battle..." Shoto looked through the crowd. His fist clenched, seeing his old man from the audience, watching him with a stern look. "I never use my fire."

The crowd cheer as the 15 minutes meaning that it's finally time for the Calvary Battle.

"Okay, all you first years! I hope you're happy with your chosen teams!" All the teams were the same as in canon with the exception being Team Katsuki having Katsuki, Mei, and Ochako. And Team Tokoyami has Ejirio, Tokoyami, Mina, and Hanta.

"Tetsutetsu." Neito got Tetsutetsu's attention.

"Huh?" Metalman didn't know what Neito wanted.

"No hard feelings, okay?" Neito didn't want to ruin his friendship.

"Right!" He's ok with losing to Neito if it means Neito will beat Class 1-A for him.

"Let's get this party started! One final countdown before the game starts!" Mic started the count down.

"Three!"

"Get 'im." Neito order.

"Two!"

"He's ours." Shoto declare

"One!"

"Begin!" Midnight yelled

"It's basically one big battle for ten million points!" Tetsutetsu said.

Toru cackles. "I'll be taking that headband, Bakugo!"

"Tsk! How stupid you gonna be." Katsuki was upset that the others were underestimating him.

"This is it." Ochako saw the other contestants running towards them.

"Do it now, Kacchan!" Izuku was scared by how the other contestants were running like wild animals.

"Here they come!" Mei was getting anxious.

"Am doing it!" Katsuki grabbed the button and push hard on it.

"Stop!" Tetsutetsu yelled like that was going to work. Juzo; Tetsutetsu's teammate; use his Quirk to try and sink Team Katsuki into the ground, however, the jetpack combined with Katsuki's exploding hands send the team flying into the air.

"They flew? Damn support course." Tetsutetsu's team turns around. "After them!"

"Jiro, now!" Toru was frantic as she was about to lose her prey.

"I know!" Kyoka was already on the job. She send her earphones jacks to attack Team Katsuki, however, Izuku using black whip slapped the earphones away from his team. "Darn it!"

"Great job, Deku!" Ochako complimented.

"T-thanks." Izuku still wasn't used to a girl complimenting him.

"Watch out!" Katsuki swerves his team left and right as they avoid lightning bolts.

"Hahaha!" Denki laughs.

"Shoot them down." Shoto commands.

"You got it!" Denki shoots lightning bolt after lightning bolt.

Katsuki grunts as he maneuvers his team back and forth. His team gasp when they saw a giant claw ready to swipe. Katsuki with his quick thinking, use a Stun Grenade to hurt the giant claw.

"You did well." Tokoyami pets his Shape Shadow as it was tearing up after Katsuki's attack.

"Ow!" Izuku was being hit on the head by Katsuki's fist.

"Your job was supposed to be the defensive. How lazy are you!" Katsuki yelled but then yelped as Denki was continuing to shoot lightning bolts at them.

"Come down here, coward!" Denki mocked.

Katsuki growls. His eyes wanted to see destruction, his hands wanted to make that destruction. He was going to chase Denki and rip off his throat, but Mei snapped him out of it.

"Don't you see they're just trying to bait you!" Mei pointed out to Katsuki.

"Shut it!" Katsuki was ready to blast toward Team Shoto, however, Ochako told him why he was doing this in the first place.

"You know if we fail now, you won't be able to beat Deku in front of everyone during the main event!" Ochako was able to quiet Katsuki down.

"Fine!" Katsuki and his team flew further into the sky to avoid the other contestants. After Katsuki's hands were tired he switch to his feet instead.

"Wait... that why he was cooperative with us?" Izuku was hurt by this info.

Ochako just gave a nervous smile to the poor Izuku.

"Damn it! We can't reach them now!" Toru was upset, but she should've been more worried about her missing headband.

"Hagakure! Your headband's gone!" Sato told her.

"Huh?" It took a second to process what he just said. After touching her forehead she got confirmation that her headband was indeed stolen. "What? Who—? No!"

Neito, who was twirling Toru's headband in his hand, commented. "Well, that was easy."

After realizing they couldn't reach Team Bakugo they decided the best course of action is to steal each other points.

"Wow! Barely two minutes have passed since we started, and it's already a total free for all! Yeah! Watch those headbands! They're even ignoring the ten million points and going after the other chart-toppers!" Mic said.

After Katsuki's feet were tired of carrying three people, the team decided to land in the arena.

"Uraraka, your Quirk is awesome! You were floating everything but you and the equipment." Izuku complimented.

"Aw, thanks!" Ochako appreciates that compliment.

"So what do you think of my babies? Aren't they just precious? Cuteness can be manufactured, you know." Mei wanted some compliments too.

"Excellent mobility! Your babies are amazing, Hatsume!" Izuku said.

"Aw, thanks!" Mei smiles.

"Ow!" Izuku was again hit over the head by Katsuki.

"Am the one who was doing most of the work!" Katsuki was angry that Izuku wasn't praising him.

"Ow! You did great work too- Stop!" Izuku wanted Katsuki to stop slamming his fist over his head but Katsuki didn't.

Team Bakugo heard Minoru cackles in the distance when they turn in the direction of the cackle they only saw Mezu running towards them, but still heard Minoru's voice.

"This is too easy. It's not a fight. It's more like a massacre!" Minoru yelled.

"Little shithead is hiding!" Katsuki was already able to put the pieces together. He knew Minoru was hiding behind Mezo's appendages.

"Uh... guys! We should get moving!" Mei saw Team Tetsutetsu quickly approaching.

Katsuki look at Team Mineta and Team Tetsutetsu and was ready to push the button.

Minoru threw a ball at Team Bakugo, but Izuku doing his job use Blackwhip to catch it.

"Is that even allowed?!" Izuku wanted confirmation if Minoru's hiding place was legit.

"Judges say yes!" Midnight confirmed that it isn't breaking any rules.

As Team Bakugo was flying away, a tongue almost hit Katsuki and Tetsutetsu.

"Impressive moves as usual." Tsuyu complimented Katsuki.

Katsuki notices how Tsuyu was also behind Mezo's appendages "Seems like Kermit is there too." Katsuki insulted.

"Call me "Tsu!" Tsuyu yelled as she and Minoru combine attacks to try and latch onto Katsuki.

"Whatever, Kermit." Katsuki didn't give a shit as his team flew to land somewhere else.

"Even with their compact members, Team Mineta wasn't able to bring down the king!" Mic commented as usual.

The crowd was ecstatic and wanted to see more of Class 1-A and their flashy Quirks.

"With all those flashy Quirks, I can't decide who I should be watching!" One of the dozen photographers said.

"Looks like them fighting villains made that class level‐up superfast." A member from the crowd said.

Toshinori was watching intensely. It was a miracle that Katsuki was willing to work with Izuku, but for how long.

"Now who wants to take a look at each team's points so far? It's been seven minutes, so let's get those rankings thrown up on the screen." Mic shows the students' points on the giant screens to the entire crowd.

The people gasped. They were shocked to see Class 1-A points compare to others.

"Hold on here. This is an unexpected turn." Mic was shocked too.

A hand tried to grab Shoto's headband however the dual hair kid slapped the hand away.

"Other than Bakugo, Class 1‐A's not doin' so hot." The screen shows that the entirety of Class 1-B was in the Top 4 with Team Todoroki in 5th place. "Even Todoroki is losing!"

Team Todoroki turned to see who tried to grab their headband and saw it was Team Monoma.

"Your class is too small-minded. Think bigger." Neito mocked.

"That was close!" Momo yelled.

"What are you saying?" Shoto didn't understand what Neito was trying to convey.

Neito's team was about to leave but then stop. Neito turns around and smiles at Shoto. "Midnight said the obstacle course was just the first game, and we figured they wouldn't cut that many of us right off the bat. Would they?"

"Right." Shoto's eyes widened. What Neito said made sense, if only he could've seen that.

"Assuming they'd keep at least 40 contestants for the next event, all we had to do was make sure we stayed within that group as we ran. From our spots in the middle ranks, we could fully observe the Quirks our rivals had and judge their capabilities. Only a fool would obsess over winning the preliminary rounds, wouldn't you agree?" Neito continues to mock Shoto.

"You planned this as a class?" Shoto questions.

"It wasn't totally unanimous, but I'd say it's playing out well." Neito admits.

"Hey, they're coming." Sen tried to grab Neito's attention, but the blonde Harry Osborn continues to monologue.

"It's better than chasing after a temporary frontrunner like a horse with a carrot waving in his face. Oh, while I have your attention. You're kinda famous, aren't you? For being the number two hero son?" Both Neito's hands light up with fire stunning Shoto.

"Odd. You have all this power and yet you still want to limit yourself, you know using your ice doesn't change the fact you'll always be second just like your father." Neito just wanted to mock Shoto for having a father in second place, however, the comparison with his father cut deep into Shoto's heart.

"Iida." Shoto grabbed Tenya's attention. "It's obvious Bakugo's Team will just run away, so the best course of action is to steal the headbands out of the entire 1-B class." If the entire Class 1-B is anything like Neito, they'll only get in his way.

"Holy, whoa. Class 1‐B had a long‐term strategy that involved throwing the qualifier. I guess that could help them leave a bigger impression on the audience. Everyone does kinda love an underdog. But... If they're playing the long game here, they might not even bother coming after our headband at all!" Izuku thought and spoke to his team. "Everyone, don't worry, I think we're okay."

"And now we've reached the halfway point of the game!"

But then the team was stopped by a line of enemy teams, their own classmate's teams. Team Minoru, Team Toru, and finally Team Tokoyami.

"You just love being wrong, don't ya." Katsuki snarls at Izuku.

"As the cavalry battle enters its second half, it's anyone's game! Class 1‐B has made an unexpected showing, but who will wear the ten million points in the end? That's the real question, sports fans!"

"Without our headband doesn't mean we're at a disadvantage, it just means there's nothing left to lose! Shoji! Full‐on attack mode!" Minoru command. Mezo spouted out six limbs.

"Let's the best students win." Fumikage told Toru.

"Right!" She agrees

All three teams went on the offensive. Izuku use Black whip to fend off his classmates, but Tokoyami use Shape Shadow to create his own tendrils and wrap around Izuku's tendrils, both students were at a stalemate until Katsuki use AP Shot: Auto Cannon.

"Back off!" Katsuki yelled as he send shot after shot.

The shots push Tokoyami off his team, but due to his quick thinking Tokoyami created small wings for himself to hover before touching the ground.

"Fumikage has been separated from his horses! Whoa, nice catch. Is that even allowed?" Mic scratches his head.

"He never touched the ground, so technically it's okay." Midnight gave the ok.

Tokoyami flew back to his team because his small wings won't be able to support him for long.

"That's bullshit!" Katsuki dislike the stupid rules but then gave them more thought. "Actually..." Katsuki flew away from his team.

"W-what?!" Team Bakugo all yelled.

"So much better without the dead weight!" Katsuki chuckles with the 10 million headbands still on his head.

"Jiro!" Toru wanted Kyoka to do something.

"I can't reach him from here." Kyoka said.

"No good here." Tsuyu had the same situation.

"Damn it!" Minoru cried.

"Why aren't you getting out there?!" Mina questions.

"Because... Bakugo's light could destroy Shape Shadow." Tokoyami told Mina.

"I get it." Izuku overheard Tokoyami's weakness.

Shoto look right to left and saw other Class-B members coming to Neito's aid. "Now, Iida. Forward!" Shoto command.

"Right!" Tenya speeded his way with his engines.

"Yaoyorozu. Be ready to protect us." Shoto asked.

"On it!" Momo started to create something useful for her teammate.

"Kaminari‐‐" Shoto didn't even need to say a word.

"Oh, I know what I gotta do." Denki started to spark with electricity.

"What are you planning?" Neito mumbles.

"I hope you made something strong, Yaoyorozu!" Denki told her.

Shoto covered his team with a sheet that will protect them from the electricity as Momo was done creating some sort of pole.

"New move: Indiscriminate Shock. 1.5 million volts!" Denki sends his electricity to attack every single person near his team.

The student competitions were all screaming from the shocking attack.

"Less than six minutes left. It's time to make a move." Shoto grabbed the pole to incase it in his ice, he dragged the pole as the ice spreads to the ground and immobilize the Class 1-B members.

"Sorry, but there's no other way." Shoto chased after Neito.

"Will you look at that! He's stopped all those teams cold in their tracks!" Mic announce.

"But only after Kaminari had immobilized the students using his electricity." Shota saw the change in Shoto's strategy. "In the obstacle course, he was surprised by how many people avoided his attack. He's adapting his strategy."

"Nice commentary!" Mic gave a thumbs up to Shota.

Itsuka felt a gush of air near her head. She looked up and saw that Shoto stole some of her headbands.

"I might as well take these. Can't afford it." Shoto wanted Class 1-B to stay in their lane.

Itsuka growls. "Come back!" she yelled while growing her entire arm out to try and reach him.

Itsuka Kendo. Her Quirk: Big Limbs. She can make her arms and legs big! And if she wants she can just make her hands and feet big.

"What? Mine, too?" Hiryu saw he have lost all his headbands.

"Thanks, loser." Hitoshi was afar and was amazed at the opportunity that Shoto gave him by trapping the other students.

"Kosei." Neito wanted Kosei to follow his lead.

"Ok." Kosei nods.

Neito increases the intensity of his flames. Both of the students inhale and blow when Neito shot his fire to fan it and create a bigger fire.

Shoto felt the heat coming toward him and use the ice pole to create an ice barrier to protect his team. Shoto gasped when he saw the rest of Class 1-A coming after him and Neito.

"Yaoyorozu!" Shoto points to the crowd of students.

Momo create and threw three flash grenades to stun their classmates.

"Nice Quirk. But I think you'll agree mine's better." Neito came from the right side of the barrier and tried to touch Momo but Shoto stern his team away from him.

"Keep our guard up! We can't let him copy our Quirks!" Shoto yelled. His teammate's eyes widen, and they finally know what Neito's Quirk is.

"Very good, Detective." Neito clapped

Neito Monoma. His Quirk: Copy. He can use the Quirks of whomever he touches, but only for five minutes. He can use four quirks at the same time if he so desires it.

"Shoot them away, Kosei!" Neito demand.

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Pikachu used Thunderbolt.

Kosei inhales his breath and then sprays water on Team Todoroki, electrifying the team.

"Ew! Was that spit?!" Momo screeches.

Kosei Tsuburaba. His Quirk: Matter Air. He can solidify, liquefy, or create a strong gush of air with his lung and even can create plasma beams.

"Maybe." Neito kept his mouth shut. He wanted to see Class 1-A panic over being "spit" on.

"How unsanitary!" Iida yelled.

"Oh." Neito saw the other 1-A teams coming back to their senses and started to run toward his team. "We got company." Neito smile.

Hanta uses his tape to catch Neito, however, Neito uses Matter Air to create plasma beams to tear through it.

"Could really use Shape Shadow here." Hanta gave out a smile.

"Remember what I said about light, earlier?" Tokoyami pointed out.

"Right, sorry..." Hanta apologize.

"Get them!" Minoru yelled as he and Tsuyu send a barrage of attacks.

Shoto grunts as he dodges all the attacks while Neito just chuckles, casually dodging the attacks.

"Jiro!" Toru wanted Kyoka to do something.

"On it-ttttt!" Kyoka's head was almost sliced off by Jurota.

"Shishida, stay calm!" Hiryu, who was on top of him, begged, however, the beast wouldn't listen to him and went wild on the other students.

"Rin! What's wrong with Shishida!" Neito asked

"I don't know! Some purple guy came and mock him, now he's completely uncontrollable!" Hiryu tried his best to cling onto Jurota.

"That's odd. Shishida doesn't get easily offended." Neito knew Jurota would have more self-control than this.

Jurota uses his wings to glide toward Shoto. Shoto makes a small glacier to trap him in, but it won't last for long.

Jurota Shishida. His Quirk: Beasts. At his base, he's just a really hairy dude, but he can transform into a giant monstrous beast with characteristics of a Lion, Eagle, and an Orca.

"Damn it!" Hiryu tried to claw his friend out of his ice prison.

Shoto turned to look at Neito, but he was getting cornered by Class 1-A as they saw Little Goblin Jr be the easier target of the two.

Tsuyu tried to steal Neito's headband with her tongue but he grabbed it and threw it away.

Fumikage tried a sneak attack from behind, but Neito use Shoto's Quirk to create fire to scare away Shape Shadow, Neito's eyes then widened when he saw that Fumikage only used Shape Shadow as a distraction to get close to his headbands, slapping Eijiro's hair Neito kill two bird with one stone (of course he didn't kill Fumikage) with a hardened punch.

Team Toru got close to Neito. Kyoka tried to use to earphones jack to swipe the headbands but Neito froze her said earphones jack. Toru tried to punch him in retaliation and Neito took it thanks to Eijiro's hardening Quirk.

Toru grunts as her hand started to bleed.

The three Class 1-A teams surrounded Neito at a standstill.

The crowd cheers as they see children fighting each other.

"Only one minute left. Class 1-A is getting really desperate going after Neito's headbands. Although the leading team has a boring strategy, it's a strategy that works, until Bakugo decided to go solo- Holy crap!!" Mic screeches.

"Did ya think you could have all the fun without me!" Katsuki races towards the fight.

Just then Jurota broke out of his ice prison and leap after Katsuki.

"Wait! Stop!" Hiryu begged.

"Stay down, you stupid mutt!" Katsuki blasted Jurota's face and maneuver around his body.

"Kacchan!" Izuku and the rest of Team Bakugo chase after Katsuki. What he was doing was putting the 10 million points at risk, they just couldn't afford it.

"What happened?" Jurota was unaware of what was going on as he fell to the floor.

"Everyone just keeps getting it my way. We can't a clean shot at Neito's team." Shoto said. His eyes narrowed. "His Quirk is strong, he'll be a threat to us."

Tenya heard Shoto's words and propose an idea. "Everyone. We have less than 60 seconds left, I'm gonna do something that'll make me useless to you. But it's worth it."

"What are you gonna do?" Shoto wanted to know what the plan was.

"Make sure you get that headband. Brace yourselves. Hold on tight!" Tenya warns. His engines from his calves and elbow started to flame and increase with intensity every second. "Torque Over‐‐" The engine's flame turned blue.

Team Todoroki grunts and yelps as they feel like their skin were about to be ripped off by the speed. They pass through every other team, pushing slightly away.

"What the—?" Neito couldn't react as his headband was stolen from him.

"Reciproburst!" Tenya screamed out his special move. Tenya digs his feet into the ground as he almost pushes his team off the area.

Neito gasps at the speed.

"Wha‐ho‐ho! What just happened? That was one big blur! Holy smokes, folks! Why didn't he show off that super-speed in the preliminaries?" Mic questions.

"Iida. What was that?" Shoto was amazed by such speed.

"Forced my torque and RPM into overdrive, which gave me explosive power! Unfortunately, the recoil stalls my engines for a while. It's a secret move

I've been saving." Tenya explained. "No one in the class knew about it."

Tenya gave Neito a smug smile, but Neito scuffs.

"That no worry. You only took one headband, we still have plenty until the game is over." Neito was still confident that he wouldn't lose.

Sen's eyes widened when he realized something was different with Neito. "Uhhh... Neito." Sen got Neito's attention. "We have zero headbands."

"What?" Neito panicked. He turned to Team Shoto.

"Hey. Don't look at us, we only took one headband." Shoto showed that he did in fact, only stole one headband.

"Insanity! Team Neito was on top of their game earlier, but now they're at the bottom of the list! Can they turn the tides?!" Mic questions.

"Do you think we just let you win!?" Neito's team ran towards Shoto's team.

Shoto tried to create an ice barrier but it was shattered by Katsuki's AP Shot.

"With just 11 seconds left, The game is almost over! Time for a countdown!" A buzz can be heard as Mic started the countdown on the screen.

"Am taking you down, Icy-Hot!" Katsuki yelled.

"Stop!" The rest of Team Bakugo begged in unison as they chase the wild badger.

"Get him! It's now our chance!" Minoru points at Katsuki. Team Mineta chased after Katsuki beside Team Bakugo.

"Come on, guys!" Toru mush her team forward towards Katsuki.

"Let's go!" Hiryu yelled as he ride the now normal Jurota.

Team Todoroki braced for impact as it's seem they were about to be crushed by their enemies. While the leader, Shoto, panics and uses his fire for just a bit.

"Time's up!" Mic came in as a miracle

The teams all stopped what they were doing. Shoto was then snapped out of his panicking state and put his fire out. Katsuki comedically flops onto the ground as his team sigh in relief. The other teams groan in defeat. The teams then disbanded.

The crowd cheered over the excitement the second game had given them and couldn't wait for the main event.

"And with that, the second round is officially over!"

"Damn it!" Neito grunts in defeat. He heard a cough and turn to see Fumikage.

"Looking for these?" Shape Shadow laughs as he holds Neito's missing headbands.

"I see..." Neito realizes that when Team Tokoyami got close to him, he wrongfully assume that Shape Shadow was just a distraction but it was the other way around.

"Bakugo! What were you doing!" Ochako ran at the blonde.

"Something fun!" Katsuki yelled.

"Damn it." Shoto mumbled. Shoto knew they'll be able to make it to the main event, but what upset him was the fact that his team probably isn't even in the top 3.

"Now, let's take a look at who our top four teams are!" Mic gets hype to announce.

"In first place, Team Bakugo!"

"Yes!" Mei, Izuku, and Ochako all yelled in happiness.

"Deku..." Katsuki slowly start to walk toward Izuku until their shoulders were side by side. "Remember, this was a one-time thing. Don't think this means anything. I still plan on crushing you in front of everyone." Katsuki declares.

Izuku gulps hesitate a bit until he works up the courage to talk back. "Guess we'll see."

Katsuki walked away, pissed off.

Ochako popped from behind "Yeah! Show him up, Deku!" She yelled.

Izuku jolted. "Oh!" Izuku appreciate the compliment and smiled.

"In second place, Team Tokoyami!" Mic announces.

"Yeah!" Eijiro, Hanta, and Mina all screamed in joy.

"Way to go, man!" Eijiro said to Fumikage.

"Nice save!" Denki said to Fumikage.

"Thanks." Fumikage was kinda blushing due to the compliments he was receiving.

"Group hug!" Mina yelled.

"Yeah!" Shape Shadow cheerfully agreed.

"Wait- Oof!" Fumikage was crushed but his teammate's and Quirk's arm strength. "I need to breathe!" Fumikage started to turn blue.

"Damn you, Class 1-A..." Neito tighten his teeth, clenched his fist, and cried on the floor.

"You ok?" Sen tried to comfort his classmate.

"No, am not!" Neito yelled

"In third place is Team Shinso? Look like we got a dark horse contestant."

"Thanks for all your help." Hitoshi smugly said to his confused teammates. Oijiro on the other hand knew what Hitoshi did.

"And in fourth place is Team Todoroki!" Mic was finish

Shoto was sulking in his failure. He look up at the stand and was met with his father's surprised glare. He used it for a brief second.

"Todoroki. I know we got last place but we should-" Tenya tried to say we should be proud they cut, however, the disgruntled Shoto tried to walk past Tenya, he bump into him and leaves even more frustrated.

"Talk about cold shoulder." Denki joked to Momo.

"Ehh." Momo cringed.

"These four valiant teams will advance on to the final round!"

"I said I'd never use this to attack. But as soon as I was overwhelmed, I broke my own promise. At this rate, he'll win and I'll end up exactly who he wants me to be." Shoto struggle in his mind.

"Now, let's take an hour lunch break before we start the afternoon festivities! See ya soon!" The audience started to get off their seats to grab food from the food stances outside the Sports Festival stadium. "Hey, Eraser Head. Let's grab some food." Mic suggests.

"I'm taking a nap." Shota decline.

"Whew." Mic was tired from all the yelling.

"What the hell just happened?" Tetsutetsu questions to his team. "Suddenly we had zero points and it was all over."

"Maybe it was some sort of karmic punishment. For taking the tiny one's headband. It was so underhanded." Ibara remembers how bad she felt after taking Minoru's headband.

"No fair! I want a do‐over!"! Tetsutetsu cried.

"How disappointing." Tsuyu was fuming as she had to team up with Minoru of all people. She walked beside Mina "Mina. Congrats." She complimented her friend.

"Thanks. But am not sure I'll make it any further with Midoriya and Todoroki also competing." Mina doubted she could take those two giants down

"Iida, you were holding out on us. I had no idea you could do that!" Ochako was doing a running motion emphasizing her frustration.

"Rest assured it wasn't my intention to deceive you, I was just being strategic." Iida excused.

"Uh heh, heh!" Meanwhile, Denki's brain was still fried after electrocuting most of Class 1-B in the cavalry battle.

"I merely wanted to show that I could compete with Midoriya." Iida was unaware that he could never compete with Izuku.

"You're always trying to one‐up each other." Ochako commented. "Oh, speaking of which, where'd he go? Has anyone seen Deku?" Ochako looked around for her friend.

Meanwhile in one of the stadium's small hallways. Izuku was having a staredown with Shoto.

"You brought me here. Now what?" Izuku was obviously scared of what Shoto wanted with him.

Meanwhile in another part of the stadium.

Endeavor is walking down a flight of stairs and stops when he heard a familiar voice.

"Yo! Long time no see! Let's catch up, Endeavor." All Might stands there with his goofy, iconic smile.

"All Might." Endeavor turn with such fury.

Meanwhile back with the son of the number one hero and the son of the number two hero.

Izuku was getting increasingly uncomfortable as Shoto remain silent without answering Izuku's question. "We should probably eat soon. The cafeteria's gonna be busy." He tries to change the subject.

Shoto stood there silent.

"Don't you think?" Izuku gulps. "He's all cold intimidation. Way different from Kacchan."

"I was overwhelmed." Shoto finally spoke up, catching Izuku off guard.

"And it made me break the promise I made to myself a long time ago." Shoto continues.

"It would have given him such an advantage to use his fire. And yet... he didn't." Izuku wonder what was the reason.

"Katsuki... The whole class... None of them felt it. In the obstacle race and the USJ, I was the only one who could sense your true power. It reminded me of something... Experiencing All Might's Quirk." Shoto said, placing the pieces together.

"Oh, yeah? Okay... Is that all?" Izuku was getting more worry. Is he going to figure it out?

"I'm saying... The power coming from you felt the same as All Might's."

Izuku gasped as he was scared if Shoto have finally learned the truth.

"Midoriya, tell me." Shoto pause for suspense.

Izuku was about to break.

"Are you really All Might's secret love child or something?" Shoto jumped to a logical, but the wrong conclusion.

"Am I... What?!" Izuku was confused yet glad Shoto was wrong.

"I've seen it. You've got All Might in your corner, helping you out." Izuku remembers what Shoto said before the obstacle race. "Okay. I get why he'd think that. As insane as it sounds."

"Well, are you?" Shoto wanted an answer.

"No, no way‐‐ that's not it at all. But I guess even if I was, I'd totally say I wasn't, so you probably won't believe me no matter what, I bet. Anyway, I promise, you've got the wrong idea." Izuku explains. "And... Why would you even think that about me?" He questions.

"That's not it at all" is interesting wording. It suggests there is something between you two that you're not supposed to talk about." Shoto calls out.

"U‐Uh..." Izuku realizes he screwed himself.

"My father is the hero Endeavor. You must've heard of him. Which means you're aware that he's the number‐two hero. So if you're connected to the number‐one hero, All Might, in some way... That would mean...that I have even more

reason to beat you." Shoto knew his goal.

"Yo! Long time no see! Let's catch up, Endeavor." All Might stands there with his goofy, iconic smile.

"All Might." Endeavor turn with such fury.

"I haven't talked to you since that press conference ten years ago. Been a while. I saw you and figured I'd say hi." All Might wanted to be nice.

"Did you now? Well then, if that's all you wanted to do, we're done." Endeavor didn't want to chit-chat.

"Huh?" All Might didn't understand Endeavour's rude demeanor.

"Chatting like we're old friends. What a joke." Endeavor storms off.

All Might laugh as he jumps over Endeavor. "Come on, why the cold shoulder?"

Endeavor growls in anger.

"You should be thrilled. After all, your son's doing very well out there, just using his ice power. You must be a great teacher." All Might complimented.

"Are you implying something?" Endeavor questions.

"No. I want to know your secrets. How do we train the next generation of heroes?" All Might asked.

"Do you really think I'd tell you anything I've taught the boy? You're all flash and no brains as usual. Outta my way." Endeavor pushes All Might out of his way.

"Okay." All Might felt hurt by that.

Endeavor stops walking. "Let me assure you of one thing, All Might. Whatever it takes... That kid of mine will beat you, someday. I'll make sure of it. That's why I made him." Endeavor smiles.

"You did what?" What did he mean by "made?"

"He's in a rebellious phase right now. But he will take your place. I'll make sure of it." Endeavor swears on it.

"My old man is ambitious. He aims for the top. He used his power to make a name for himself as a hero. But he was never able to best All Might, so the Symbol of Peace is living proof of his failure. He's still at it, though, trying to take down All Might. One way or another." Shoto told Izuku some interesting pieces of information that confuses the poor boy.

"I'm not really sure what you're getting at. What are you trying to tell me, Todoroki?" Izuku wanted to understand what Shoto is saying.

"Have you ever heard of... Quirk marriages?" Shoto bought up.

"Uh..." Izuku was scared of where this was leading to.

"They became a problem in the first few generations after superpowers became widespread. There were those who sought out potential mates solely with the intention of creating powerful children. Many people were forced into relationships. They were simply viewed as old‐fashioned arranged marriages. But, clearly, it was unethical." Shoto began to tell Izuku one of his father's terrible secrets.

"My father has not only a rich history of accomplishments but plenty of money to throw at his problems. He bought my mother's relatives to get his hands on her Quirk. And now he's raising me to usurp All Might." Shoto told his origin.

Izuku gasped at this fact. How can a hero, never less the number two hero, would do such a thing.

"It's so annoying. I refuse to be a tool for that scumbag. In every memory of my mother... I only see her crying." Shoto had a flashback of his deranged mother. "I remember she called my left side of my face unbearable before she poured boiling water on my face."

Izuku gasp at the complete left turn that the conversation took.

"The reason I picked a fight with you was to show my old man what I was capable of doing. Without having to rely on his damned fire Quirk. You see, I'm going to show him that I reject his power, and I can take first place without using it." Shoto made up his mind on his decision.

Meanwhile, as they were talking, Katsuki was listening to the entire conversation.

"His quirk..." Katsuki mumbled. He started to remember what Shoto's Quirk was again.

Shoto Todoroki. His Quirk: Hot and Cold. Can use both Fire and Ice all over his body instead of just in half and half. Same downsides as in canon.

"The life he's led is so different than mine. It sounds terrifying. How strange that we could be aiming for the same thing despite such different childhoods." Izuku made the comparison.

Shoto walked away. "You're obviously connected to All Might. Even if you won't tell me about it. But no matter how fiercely you come at me in the future, I will defeat you using only my ice. I can assure you of that." Shoto delcared.

"So this is why Todoroki's so focused. He's like a comic book character. A hero with a tragic backstory. Fighting to rise above it." Izuku didn't know what to do. Should he reach out or stay quiet. After a little thought, he made his decision. "Hey, wait!"

Shoto stopped. He at least wanted to know what Izuku was going to say to him.

"I'm only here because others have supported me. I've been really lucky. In fact, I've had even more help since I've come to UA." All Might, Ochako, his Mom, Shota, Katsuki, Gran Torino, and Mei. Those weren't the only things that were motivating Izuku. "You, too, can become a hero." He remembers those words clear as day.

Izuku then remembers his favorite All Might video. "All Might is constantly saving people with a fearless smile. He's the greatest hero. And I wanna be just like him. In order to do that, I have to be strong enough to become number one. I know my motivation might seem stupid compared to yours. But, still‐‐I can't lose this, either. I owe it to everyone who's supported me to try my best." Izuku didn't sway one bit even with Shoto's threats.

Shoto turns his head to get a better look at Izuku.

"You declared war on me earlier. Well, right back at you." Izuku clenches his fist. "I am going to beat you." Izuku promises.

Both heroes stare each other down with determination until Shoto gave up and walked away. Izuku stood there watching Shoto as Katsuki was watching him.

After lunch, the students who failed were given the opportunity to play some fun side games, but not after the Class 1-A's girls were tricked into wearing cheerleader outfits. Before they were able to get to the tournament event, Mashirao and Nirengeki forfeit their spots as they knew they didn't earn them, due to the fact they were brainwashed, so they have to make replacements.

"Now, let's see..." Midnight scouted the group of students to see who will be the replacements. "We'll have to move up two students from the fifth‐place cavalry team so we have enough contestants"

Itsuka spoke up. "We were frozen most of the time. Honestly, we barely did anything in the cavalry battle." She made a logical point. "Isn't that right?" She turned to Kinoko.

"Uh‐huh." Kinoko agreed.

"Girls?" She turns to the rest of her team, who nods in agreement.

"You should choose from the group that kept fighting the whole time. That is..." She sighed. "Team Monoma."

"Oh, Kendo!" Neito was relieved he'll have the opportunity to squash Class 1-A again.

"I'm not doing this as a favor. It's just fair." Kinoko wasn't fond of the idea herself, but then again, it's only fair.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Neito repeatedly bowed.

"And so, Monoma and Tsuburaba have advanced to the final! Take a look at the bracket, my dears. These are your opponents!"

The mashups are the same as in canon, except that Monoma will be facing Ejirio and Tsuburaba facing Denki. Izuku meet Hitoshi and was about to fall right into his palms, but Ojiro was able to stop and warn him about Hitoshi's Quirk. After playing some fun side games Present Mic talked about, they were ready for the final event.

"That's it. I'm pretty much done here." Cementoss said, completing the battle arena. The battle arena was a little bit bigger than in canon to accommodate the students' overpowered Quirks.

"Thank you, Cementoss!" Mic was grateful. "Hey, sports fans. Are ya ready?" Mic hyped up the crowd even more. Their cheers and screams got louder.

"After all the action you've already witnessed, it's time for the real battles to begin! Can ya feel the excitement?" Mic yelled.

"Our competitors are on their own now! Sometimes, heroes have only themselves to rely on! Heart. Skill. Strength. Wisdom. Courage. They'll have to use all of these things to rise to the top!" These words were the things that Izuku wanted to embody as a hero but wasn't sure if he could.

"Hey." Toshinori popped out of nowhere.

Izuku's head jolted when he heard the voice of comfort.

"Sorry I haven't said hi. You've been great. You learn 15% of One for all." Toshinori complimented.

"Yeah. I guess." Izuku wasn't confident.

"Yeah. There is something I wanna teach you after the whole Sports Festival is finished." Toshinori said

"Cool..." Izuku places his head down.

"What's wrong?" Toshinori questions.

"It's just... I barely won the obstacle race and Katsuki did most of the work during the cavalry battle. I guess I have only been getting by because of luck and my friends helping me out." Izuku started to doubt himself.

Toshinori snapped Izuku out of his depressive mindset by slapping him.

"All I wanna hear you say is that you'll do your best, dammit. There's no such thing as luck. You're never gonna become the hero you want if you believe in something like that." Toshinori lectures.

"Ah..." Izuku was still hurt by the slap.

"Listen." Toshinori started to transform. "Whenever you're scared or nervous about a fight. Just try and deal with it by smiling!" All Might gave a thumbs up. "You've made it this far, kid. Even if you're worried, you must stand tall!" All Might struck a pose. "Don't forget that I'm counting on you, and cheering you on!"

Izuku nods and faces the battle arena.

The torches at the corner of the battle arena lit up. Signaling the beginning of the first fight.

"All right, audience! Let's cut to the good stuff and not delay these finals any longer." Mic could tell how eager the crowd was to see children beat each other up. "Welcome our first fighters." Mic shows the pictures of Hitoshi and Izuku on the board. "Whoa, he looks kind of scared in that picture, doesn't he?" He commented on Izuku's expression in the photo.

"It's Izuku Midoriya from the hero course versus..." Izuku walked out of his corner.

"Hitoshi Shinso from general studies, who really hasn't done anything to stand out yet." Hitoshi walked out of his corner.

"The rules are simple. Immobilize your opponent or force them outta the ring. You can also win by getting the other person to cry uncle!" Mic explains as the two contestants walked onto the arena.

"Bring on the injuries, cause we've got our very own Recovery Girl waiting on standby! So put your morals aside and don't be afraid to play dirty! But of course, no "life‐threatening crap, folks. It's not allowed! Real heroes use their power to throw villains in jail, not to kill them." Mic continues to explain the rules as the two heroes stare at each other down.

Cementoss creates a cement chair to watch the fight. "I'll stop anyone who tries to get too rough."

Izuku sighs in preparation.

"So you can just give up, huh?" Hitoshi suggested.

Izuku gasps at Hitoshi's suggestion.

"In a way, this is a test of how strong your spirit is. If you know what you want your future to hold for you, you can't worry about what other people think." Hitoshi continues.

"Ready?" Mic prepared the countdown.

"That monkey was going on about his pride earlier." Hitoshi insulted Mashirao.

"Begin!" Mic yelled.

"But I just think he's an idiot for throwing away his chance like that." He continues to insult.

Izuku gasps then growl in anger. He ran towards the tired boy. "Don't you talk about him that way!" Izuku yelled.
