And here we go folks. Please don't forget to REVIEW! It helps me get better as a writer as the long time readers of this story have obviously seen. Love y'all and enjoy!
POV: Aedon Wynne
I sat on the seat of my ship that Kelli had kindly brought over to the Citadel for me. She needed next to no prompting and at the moment I was going over some hand-eye coordination drills Frank had told me to do to get used to the arm. It was easy going in all honesty but it just felt weird. At least it had about a month ago when I had started on them with Frank, Dr. Chakwas, Ceelo and Tali watching over me.
That being said in that month there's been a good bit going on and there were bits where my anger was not satisfied. First and foremost being the fiasco that was the attack on me and the Normandy. Turns out that Cerberus 'hadn't' been the ones to attack us as all the soldiers weren't wearing their gear and had known affiliation to some small time merc group that seemingly popped up out of nowhere while I had been asleep. In simple terms it was completely Cerberus but they hid their tracks.
Rather messily in my mind but just enough that they didn't blow the public support that they got for being the ones to fund the destruction of the Collectors. The Council had tried to keep that hush hush but someone on the Normandy put out the video of us doing it. As bad as that was, at least they didn't get a video of me draining the Reaper, that would've been really bad.
Still, it just didn't sit well with me that they would try at all to get me. Someway, somehow he knew I had drained a Reaper. Which lead to Tali, myself and Ceelo purging everyone's omni-tool and basically resetting them down to literally just a hunk of omni-gel just to be sure. Which needed to be done to the inborn one in my left augmetic as well; it rendered the arm useless for a couple hours as Ceelo had to reprogram it.
Then there was the fact that everyone who hadn't been on the ground crew tried to take the Normandy with the help of Zaeed. They pleaded that it was a mutiny under coercion by the aforementioned 'mercenaries' and as flimsy as that bullshit was there was just enough 'evidence' to make it believable. Not a single one of us from the ground team were happy about that and only Donnelly and Daniels hadn't turned their coat and as such were allowed to stay on the Normandy, everyone else was kicked off.
Shepard said something about how they wanted to get back out their while they could and check out a few things in case there were still Collectors out there. The Alliance hadn't been happy about that as they saw the SR-2 as their own property. Shepard basically told them to shove it and went about his own business citing Spectre code that he could commandeer the ship for missions. I had laughed openly when he told me about that.
That was over three weeks ago and he had asked me to join him back on the Normandy. I politely declined seeing as I still wasn't used to my arm or fully recovered to be comfortable with that. He accepted that without making a fuss but he wasn't particularly happy when Tali also announced that she would be staying with me. Shepard understood the circumstances but loosing two of his most loyal and effective constituents hurt their ability to be effective. They would be fine though and he knew if he really needed us we were a simple call away.
After that meeting with Shepard Tali and I said our goodbyes to everyone on the Citadel as Frank had finally finished my armor. It was almost the exact same as the other one before which made me happy but it was the addition to it that truly made me smile upon seeing the armor. The piece of the ship from the SR-1 that I had cut out when we visited it's crash site was incorporated into the armor.
The 'R' part being molded into the armor right over where my heart was. It was broken up as it would take up to much but the red 'R' was easy to see. I just remember getting the armor and looking at it with a giant smile on my face. It was perfect in every way and even had the wiring from the old one in it so my tech abilities would be unlimited as well. Frank got a massive hug after that.
Finally getting the armor Tali and I left with Kelli driving my ship. Our first stop had been Omega where Iris was at the moment. Seeing her again made me so happy; her smile upon seeing me was absolutely infectious. She was such a pure little girl despite the fact that she was as much of a natural born killer as me. Which Kelli had offhandedly mentioned seeing after Iris had been put to bed that night.
This prompted a two hour long discussion between myself, my inner circle (Vrule, Kelli, Samuel, and Ilok), and Tali on what to do with Iris. I pushed that we should begin her training, she showed aptitudes in multiple areas and shouldn't let it go to waste. By no means would she see any type of actual fighting as long as I could help it though. At least until she was 16 which was plenty of time to get her up to speed and plenty deadly. Even then she would only be a support role player.
The others weren't exactly on board with this besides Vrule, opting to try and let her enjoy her childhood and not be a child soldier. Something that I did agree with but like it or not we all knew what Iris was capable of and if she wasn't taught she would find a way to figure it out herself. There was very little doubt in my mind that she hadn't already started doing so. Something that seemed proven by the uncomfortable look from Ilok and Samuel upon mentioning it.
From there it boiled down to how they would teach her. I wanted to do it but with the Reapers looming over us they convinced me that taking over her training was something that could happen after we survived the upcoming war. After that we spent two weeks on Omega hanging out with everyone, having meetings and generally just making sure that everything was up to the standard. It absolutely was.
Though, I did make sure to get a couple more single shot inhalers for the Hybrid drug that now officially had a name for itself. They called it Hysteria, a rather appropriate name after experiencing its effects first hand. It wasn't a pleasant experience, in any way shape or form. That wasn't the only thing I learned though, I found a Quarian, Jan'Sezh, on his pilgrimage who taught me an interesting way to avoid customs for showing him one of my Trojan Horse codes.
That code wasn't something that I had wanted to give up but with what was in my future the avoidance of Customs was going to be needed. After all the Asari and their little cabal were still on my shit list. Something that was burning a hole into my bank account right now as Liara was charging me out the ass for all the information she found. I was still well in the green though for my bank account but it didn't mean it wasn't physically hurting me to see it drop as much as it has. At least she was getting me halfway decent info.
As for the way to avoid customs it was to use the Relay and instead of going all the way to the next Relay to go to a spot a couple day's journey away. Not exactly the safest thing to do with those places being unknown space but it would allow me to coast around the Relay and customs and enter whichever System with next to no detection. Imperative for attacking the Asari.
After those two weeks though Tali and I left and made our way towards the Migrant Fleet. I'm not gonna lie, it wasn't exactly the place that I wanted to go at the moment but Tali convinced me. Mentioning that some of the docs could use more samples from me and I was happy to give them; she didn't lie or manipulate me into going which was probably the only reason I was okay with giving the samples. Besides, it would be nice to see the fleet again. Even with it under perpetual reconstruction it was always a sight to see.
Hitting the Relay the fleet appeared in front of us and the sheer scale of the fleet in all its glory was good to see. It was at that moment that I felt a little weird and realized that Omega, the Fleet and the Normandy were my homes. No longer was it Earth where I was born; it felt weird to realize that. Though, looking over at Tali as she talked into the radio to tell the fleet she was back showed me why. Tali was mine.
"What's that smile for?" she asked looking at me in a way that she knew exactly what it was for. Continuing to smile at her I didn't answer as I piloted us in and instead just slapped her ass. That elicited a squeak from her and she glowered at me; a glower that was answered with a shit eating grin.
Which she answered to immediately by taking her mask off grabbing my long, slicked back hair and bent my head backwards before kissing me hard. My smile was not taken away at all as I smiled into the kiss prompting her to bite my lip. She had to be careful not to draw blood when she did that because of her fangs it did have another side effect. It got my engine roaring.
About three minutes later we were commed by the Fleet and told to either approach or get blasted; that was Gerrel's voice over the comm too. So, we stopped our session and made our way to the Fleet. When we arrived there was a small procession of Marines waiting there for us. Kal being one of them and he saluted both of us, getting one in return as well from both of us. After that he informed us that the Admirals wanted to speak with Tali, alone. Tali was having absolutely none of that and told Kal that I would be joining her regardless of what the Admirals wanted.
Kal looked like he wanted to say something about that but relented once he saw me behind Tali shaking my head. Tali was a gentle soul in most cases but she was also incredibly vicious when she wanted to be. Especially when she didn't get the entirety of the alone time with me that she wanted. Then considering it had been Gerrel that had interrupted us she was probably in an even worse mood. She did not like that man at all and he hadn't done himself any favors recently either to try and mend that relationship.
A couple minutes later following Kal to where the Admirals wanted to meet he opened the door for us. Tali entered first with myself following and we got to see both Admirals sitting on the edge of a table in the middle of the room with cups in front of them, plus an assistant in the corner holding a pitcher of something that was steaming.
What caught my eye though was the fact that the two Admirals had their masks off, guess the treatments were truly working and I took that time to study their faces. Gerrel looked like he hadn't slept in weeks and in general just looked pissed off. Though he still held himself as any self respecting general should; as someone who projected an air of being in charge. He had a rather normal looking face, nothing stood out about the man at all but his eyes were piercing. I'd seen better though.
As for Raan though you could tell that she had once been absolutely stunning. Definitely not a beauty that could be compared to Tali but stunning regardless. However, stress had definitely gotten to her with all the lines that it showed and her sunken eyes. Plus, Time had definitely reaped its pound of flesh from her. Time conquered everything afterall.
Seeing the two of us enter the room though Gerrel had a scowl immediately on his face and Raan looked upon us disapprovingly. However, the assistant in the corner immediately came up to us both as we took our seats and put cups in front of us. She then offered us some tea and I gladly accepted. When was the next time that Quarian tea would be available to me; Tali accepted as well. Not gonna lie either, it tasted delightful even if tea wasn't my favored drink.
"What's this about?" Tali cut out with irritation clear in her voice. Reaching out a hand I held it on her shoulder for a moment and she snapped her head to me. My eyes conveyed exactly what I wanted them too and she calmed down after a few moments. As she did so she took a deep breath and looked back to the other Admirals. Her stare still hard and demanding an answer; being almost exiled by these two had left zero friendliness between them. Raan then spoke
"With the hole left by your father we have had the unfortunate task of being the ones to pick his successor," I already knew where this was going but either Tali didn't want to acknowledge it or honestly didn't know I couldn't tell. "We've done some interviews and looked at others with good track records but none of them seemed up to the task⦠In other words Tali'Zorah, we invited you here to ask if you will take the job."
Tali let in a sharp inhale at the words immediately looking down at her cup as she contemplated Raan's words for several moments. Weighing the pros and cons of accepting and denying she looked at me for support. I put a hand on her shoulder and nodded my head conveying, I hope, that I supported her no matter what decision she would make. Which, if she chose to accept, would drastically take away the time that we had together; something she knew as well.
"When would I start?" she asked and the two other admirals breathed a sigh of relief before steeling themselves and straightening their backs.
"As soon as you possibly could. Starting with getting samples from your hum-" Gerrel started only to sharply cut off by Tali.
"He is my Con'trual and you address him with the respect he deserves," she all but growled at Gerrel. Getting an increasingly disgusted look from the man and a somewhat worried and disappointed look from Raan. Still, under Tali's glare they acquiesced.
"You can start by getting more samples from your Con'trual. This will not set a good precedent for an Admiral who just started Miss Zorah," Gerrel responded obviously biting his tongue as he wanted to say more. If I had to guess it was because the Quarian were so few in number compared to others and it was expected of her to have a Quarian husband. They can go to hell, we're compatible.
"I know Admiral but I just don't care. He's compatible with Quarians and I love the bastard. Even if he keeps getting himself into horrendous situations after I ask him nicely not to," I couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the jab at myself and the looks on the other Admirals faces when they heard that particular bit of information. Guess they didn't know that I was compatible. "Let's go Aedon, we have work to do."
So, with her last words, we left the room and immediately made our way back to my ship. Getting into the ship Tali took the reigns and brought us to the medical ship. Upon landing we got off and went straight to the labs where they did all the experiments last time. This time was no different all the way down to the spinal tap and the semen sample. Again, super awkward to me.
After all that was done a couple hours later we both made our way back to our ship and took off to her new ship. It's name was completely lost on me in all honesty but at this point it didn't matter. Tali was like a woman possessed as she marched out of my ship and made a beeline straight for her new office.
As we reached the office and Tali opened the door she stilled in the entrance. Leaning around her I saw why she had went still. This had definitely been her fathers office and it hadn't been touched in the months since he had died. Everything was completely untouched down to the couple of files that were sitting on the desk. Stilling behind her I softly wrapped my arms around her waist in a gentle hug for a few moments before backing off.
"Do you want to be left alone for a bit?" my voice was barely above a whisper but she responded all the same with a simple nod of her head. "You know where I'll be, don't hesitate if you need anything."
I began to turn around and leave only for her hand to shoot out before her and grab mine. She just held me there refusing to let me go and I nodded knowing what she wanted instead of me leaving and stood their with her as she looked at the room from the doorway for over a minute before entering the room.
Tali looked around the room in silence seemingly examining every little nook and cranny. However, she vehemently avoided looking at the portrait that was encased behind the desk. Looking at it myself it was a picture of her father, her mother and a Tali that couldn't have been more than five years old. It was a beautiful family photo but I understood why she didn't want to look at it, neither of them were here for her anymore.
We stayed in there for about 15 minutes before we began cleaning everything up. When we were done cleaning it up Tali looked at me silently telling me it was okay for me to go now. Nodding back to her I left and she began to make the office into hers and only hers.
I stayed on the fleet with Tali for another ten or so days before it was time for me to go. I didn't exactly want to but things needed to be done and Tali had her hands full with her new duties. We didn't spend as much time as I wanted us too but we both made sure that we made time for the other, especially at night. Either way when it was time for me to go she gave me a kiss goodbye and forced me to promise not to be an idiot.
That was a bit unfair in my mind as everything that usually went wrong was completely out of my hands. Still, she made me promise and I made sure to make it as sincere as it possibly could be. It wasn't like I was basically about to declare war on a shadow Asari organization or something; absolutely not.
Either way when we said our goodbyes I got back on my ship and made my way to Omega. Getting there I picked up Kelli and Ilok not telling them a single thing about what we were about to do. They weren't exactly happy about being left in the dark but they kept quiet knowing that I would eventually tell them. I also picked up a new rifle for myself.
The M-99 Saber, Vrule had it stolen for me as a present for surviving the Collectors. It was a beast of a weapon and a lot heavier than the Mattock but it hit so much harder with about the same rate of fire from the mods I put in the thing. That being said though it went off heat sinks which would force me to have to reload. Still, it hit hard enough to the point that it should break shields after a single shot and kill almost instantly with not shields. It was an even trade.
Upon getting to the final Relay between myself and Thessia I implemented the process the smuggler had given me and set the coordinates to be far short of the Relay before punching it. As advertised it worked like a charm shooting me out about four days on low power from the Asari home system. Once the coordinates were set for the far side of the system away from the Relay I put it into autopilot and turned to Kelli and Ilok.
"Do either of you know who kidnapped me and held me for six weeks?"
"Just that they were Asari based but nothing beyond that. Are we going after them?" Ilok asked sitting up straighter.
"Yes, from what I've been able to gather from the Shadow Broker who's my new friend. They call themselves the Unknown Nine and have apparently been nothing but a myth since before the Asari reached the Citadel. They are probably the most influential group in the entire galaxy and next to no one knows they exist."
"Who's our first target?" Kelli asked almost eager to start but I knew my next words would stop that eagerness almost immediately.
"Raros," sure enough it did stop her enthusiasm in its tracks. "The plan is to get to her and talk, I know your sisters are there Kelli and would rather do this without bloodshed."
"You're declaring war and you're going to let her live?" Kelli's voice was tense but not overly so. She was restraining herself, maybe in the hopes that her sisters didn't know what Raros was actually a part of.
"If at all possible, yes. From the info that I've been able to gather she is the only member with a daughter and no mother should be taken from their child. If we don't have to I'd rather not take said mother from her daughter," they were both silent for a couple of moments before looking between each other and then looking back to me.
"What's the plan?" Kelli asked. "We know houses layout for the most part,
We also know that she recently got a few new Commando recruits for her retinue and has used them for guard duty. However, none of them have much expertise in terms of technical or mechanical ability like the older commandos."
"You plan on going after the lighting along the side of her home?" Ilok asked.
"Yes, one good program into the system and I should be able to make havoc within the house and surrounding area. The newbies won't know what to do which will call out the veterans and when they leave we make our move."
"Okay, we do that and we get to Raros. What's the plan then?" Kelli asked.
"Get as much information about the rest of her group as possible and either take her daughter hostage or bluff saying that if they don't comply we'll kill her daughter and take all the files in the house regardless."
"Not exactly a fan of this plan boss," Kelli stated looking at me hard.
"I'm not either but it's the best I've got right now. We've got about four days until we reach the system and another full day before we'll be able to make landfall on Thessia. With Raros' house being near a cliff and semi secluded we'll be able to glide down and make a more comprehensive plan on the way. For now, this is what we're going on though."
That ended the conversation as they offered no objections. Ilok seemed to be completely on board though. I'd say it was the STG in him that was dictating that and that was something he still wasn't completely forgiven for. However, he had the balls to come to me about it and has earned Nyreen's trust back in the time I've been away. That's good enough for me; if there was one person as paranoid as me it was Nyreen.
So for the next five days we sat in the ship and upon entering Thessia's atmosphere we cut all power to the ship and glided down to the planets surface. It was not a smooth ride by any stretch of the imagination but it did it's job as we made our way down. Only turning on power when we were about 1000 feet above the ground and landed in the forest below Raros' house.
Upon landing and during the trip none of us could come up with a better plan for what we wanted to do. Either way we waited an extra day to make any other moves after landing but at night on the sixth day we began climbing the cliff to her house. It was slow going free climbing the whole way and if not for my augmetic hands I don't know if it would've been possible for me. When there was nothing for me to grab onto my hands simply dug into the cliff and held me there.
We reached the top portion of the cliff barely an hour before daybreak was about to hit, the perfect time to enact the plan and thats what we set about doing. Giving my program to Ilok he took off towards the exterior lights while Kelli and I made an entrance for ourselves in the fence. Delicately cutting each part of the fence with bolt cutters that Kelli had brought. If we had used our omni-tools the alarm would've been sounded. Score one for 'obsolete' tech.
Once we had our entrance I sent the signal to Ilok and the next instant the lights started flickering before sparking. When they started to spark we could hear the voices of some of the guards begin to be raised but couldn't quite make out what they were saying. The words became full blown shouting once of the lights exploded then all of the lights went out in the compound and house. That's when they started calling for backup to fix the problem.
We waited another minute for the backup to arrive and then we stalked into the entrance of the compound. Following the shadows still held by the morning as we stalked our way to the house. Reaching the side entrance of the house I hacked the door open while Kelli kept lookout by the corner which gave us a lucky break.
One of the Asari guards wandered to the corner and looked right at me. She opened her mouth to shout out to her comrades but Kelli silenced that by striking the woman in the throat and putting the woman in a chokehold immediately. She gave a token struggled before Kelli slammed the woman's head into the wall of the building knocking her out cold but otherwise leaving her alive.
Signing to Kelli to tap into their comms she nodded and started on that procedure as I was just about finishing up with the door. I would have just smashed through the encryption but it was hard to tell if there were any failsafes or alarms and it was better to be on the safe side here. So it took me far longer than it should've, two minutes, but it opened eventually and we entered the house without a sound.
Knowing where the Matriarchs room was we stalked through the house and made our way there. It was slow going but with the pulses from my helmet telling us where everyone in the house was we made the best time we could. There were a couple of close calls with the patrolling guards but nothing to write home about. Not to say it wasn't tense but we never had to act, they just came uncomfortably close to where we were. A couple times it wouldn't have taken more than half an arms length to touch the guards but they never noticed us; the shadows from the power outage playing to our favor.
Either way after a couple of minutes we made it to the room where Raros was and she wasn't alone. I assumed she was with her daughter due to the proximity of two of the signatures and a singular one away from them near the center of the room. Relaying the info to Kelli through my HUD she nodded and we prepared to breach. We would have to be fast so in that line of thinking Kelli backed up from the door and readied a Charge.
She gave me a nod as she readied the Charge and I flew the door open and she shot through slamming into the guard and sending them crashing into the ground. Bursting through the door after her I shut it and locked it overriding ever single protocol I could find and making the door basically unlockable. Only a breaching charge would open the damn thing now.
With that done I turned to the other occupants in the room. Kelli was holding her gun against the head of her twin with regret lining her face, her sisters face held predominately shock but also resignation. Raros on the other hand stood in front of her daughter shielding her from me with a defiant look on her face which was the complete opposite of the look on her daughters. She was terrified, and rightfully so.
"Matriarch Raros. It seems that we meet again, I'm tempted to go on a rant and say how you had this coming but that's pointless."
"Thank you for cutting to the chase then Red Eyes. I've seen the fights between you and Dashi, no wonder she betrayed us to get you to live," I was admittedly curious and another pulse told me no one was coming our way at the moment. "Did you really think no one changed your cuffs as a mistake, she made sure they didn't. Not to mention the drugs she snuck into the IV and blood bags the last few days. She wanted you out."
"Good to know she was always a psycho. Now, give me every single name of your eight other conspirators."
"Why wo-" it was at this moment I appreciated the fact that I had taken up knife throwing for a bit. My mothers knife was out of its sheathe in an instant and buried into Raros' right shoulder making her lurch backwards. Walking forwards as she held the knife in her shoulder I grabbed it and yanked it out making sure to do it at violently as possible. Then I put my gun to her daughter's head.
"Now."
"What do you plan on doing to them?"
"Putting the fear of God into them. I can't kill you yet, the Reapers are coming and killing all of you would create too much instability within the Asari's. I need you alive for now," Raros seemed to think this over for a few moments before nodding her head. As she began listing off names I stopped her on the ones I already knew from my interrogation with the doctor and got the rest of the names.
Sheor, Xailsha, Nosraes, and the ring leader Glaeesya. Those were the final four names that Raros gave me and each one after the other hurt me. I knew all of their names researching the previous five and all of them were notorious philantropists. It just reinforced that I couldn't really kill these people unless a lot more evidence came to light. However, they were amazing at hiding everything behind a wall of perfection. Why couldn't shit be simple.
Sighing it seemed that my job just got a lot harder, especially with Glaeesya. She was the literal Head Matriarch on their Council of Matriarchs. Of all the places for a ringleader of something like them to be that was not a place one needed to be. Finding her weak and doing anything to her without being caught would be near impossible with the Reaper war looming over us.
Nodding to Kelli she knocked her twin out with a sharp swing of her gun. Looking back to Raros and her daughter I shook my head before heading to the window with a silent promise that if she raised the alarm her people would die. However, that didn't stop her from talking.
"They'll know you're coming."
"You plan on telling them then?" I asked turning to her and gripping my weapon ready to raise it and fire.
"No. But someone you know already is, I didn't heed her warnings but the others assuredly will," there was only one person. One fucking person who could've given them the warning that I was going to go after them.
Snarling at the realization Kelli and I jumped out the window and quietly made our way back to the entrance in the fence we had made. Getting there just as the sun was peeking out over the horizon we began scaling down the cliff. It was an arduous trek but both Kelli and I made it without any problems. Ilok was already waiting at the ship for us and sent me a questioning face.
Giving the man a thumbs up I went into the ship and gave the coordinates for the next person we were going to go after to Kelli. Caleto was her name and she spent most of her time in the capital city working on homeless shelters and soup kitchens. Just saying I was going after a woman doing stuff like that made my skin crawl in shame. Pushing that away though I opened my omni-tool and made a call.
"Hello sir. How would you like to rejuvenate your information network."
"I'm listening."
POV: John Shepard
The weeks since the fight with the Collectors and subsequently with 'not Cerberus' there had been little activity. We still found plenty of things to take care of from slaver rings to drug smugglers who just wanted to sell to kids. All of them on the fringes of Terminous space. Not a single one had even dared go near Omega since Aedon's rampage.
It was honestly surprising in some parts how effective one man could be in instilling fear to everyone but at the same time it was expected. Aedon was one of those few people that the moment you looked at him you didn't want to fuck with him. Even when I first met in on the Citadel I could tell he was one of those people. It was impressive and he's only grown. From a near nobody to a proverbial god in some aspects.
The only person that people even bothered comparing him to was myself. Often times lifting myself above him and as flattering as that was I didn't agree with it. He wasn't more than me and I wasn't more than him. We were the same coin, only different sides. The face of humanity as many said and the boogeyman. Each of us inspiring hope and fear to whomever we crossed.
Now, though we weren't really doing much of anything. Just wandering around space looking for someone to try something stupid but at this point it seemed that they had all wizened up and went to ground. Frustrating in some aspects but it was honestly only a matter of time before they resurfaced. People like the ones we were hunting were never ones who took patience into account when they acted.
Looking over the galactic map once again I began debating more places that we could go. Most of them being even farther into the fringe of space but before I could decide Joker rang over the PA system telling me I had a call in the conference room. Subconsciously nodding to my pilot I made my way there and answered the call.
"Commander, we need you to get to the Bahak System in the Viper Nebula. One of our best and brightest, Dr. Kenson, has been taken hostage by batarians," Admiral Hackett demanded as soon as he popped up. It was a suggestive order as I had every right to deny the man but I was still Alliance through and through.
"I'll head there immediately sir," was all I said before cutting the connection. I then went to Joker and gave him the gameplan. He nodded and took off.
Hey y'all, slower chapter I know but I've given all of y'all the ACTION in the recent chapters. This is to be expected and tbh I needed to get Aedon back to his roots for a bit. Not as a soldier but as an infiltration and assination specialist. That's where he truly thrives as an operator.
That being said lmk if y'all are getting a bit of story fatigue. I truly do love all the support y'all give me and want to make sure y'all enjoy it as much as possible.
