Found Fame And Frustration

Before the story starts some parts of the show will just be summarized or skipped because it will go similar to what happened in canon so I felt no need to rewrite a scene that wasn't even changed.

——————————————————————

Izuku was sitting next to Tenya in one of the hospital's rooms. It appears the boy decided to spend the night there not because he had any major injuries like his friend, but because he was afraid of Sir Nighteye's wrath due to his stupid decision to face the Hero Kill alone without backup.

"Did you sleep well?" Tenya asked.

"Nah. Am kinda scared of what Sir Nighteye would say to me that I fought the Hero Killer with hoping the Pros would come in time." Izuku rubs his tired eyes and yawns.

"I see we're on the boat." Tenya was also afraid of what Manual would say, and even more fearful that he went behind his brother's back and use Recipro Turbo without his blessing.

"Thinking about that fight now. We did something pretty amazing." Izuku was still amazed that he was able to fight Stain and live to tell the tale.

"You..." Tenya muttered under his breath so the broccoli wouldn't hear. Izuku was the one to really fight Stain. Tenya only fought for a selfish desire.

"After everything that happened back there, it kinda feels like a miracle we're even alive." Back then, Izuku somehow felt the users inside One for All being so uneasy as Stain was giving his horrific speech about society. It was a miracle that they didn't freeze up like him and the Pros did.

Tenya decided to continue beating himself up and wanted to tell Izuku how much of an idiot he was. "I was..." But before he could tell him the Pros enter the room.

Manual, Sir Nighteye, and Gran Torino stand there side by side as they enter the room.

"Oh, so the injured youngin is awake." Gran Torino said about the bandage up Tenya.

"Gran Torino!" Izuku's cheerful attitude was changed to a frightful one as Sir Nighteye loom over him. "And Sir Nighteye..." He mutters out.

"And Manual, too." Tenya was ready to get a mouthful from him.

"Idiot. Sir Nighteye told me everything. I could yell at you for hours right now." Gran Torino walks toward the successor.

"Yeah..." Izuku knew that "I'm sorry" wouldn't cut it, so he kept his mouth mostly shut.

"But before I do, you've got a visitor."

A figure that was behind the door walked into the room and introduced himself.

Izuku gasp seeing the anthropomorphic dog in his suit eclipse him.

"This is the Hosu's chief of police. Kenji Tsuragamae." The man Gran Torino had introduced seemed to be a Great Dane breed with a tie that had the scheme of Dalmatians.

"Tsuragamae? The-The Chief?" Izuku's head started racing on why an authoritarian figure such as Tsuragmae would want with him.

Tenya stand up to show respect to the Chief, so Izuku started to do the same.

"No, please, stay seated, woof." Tsuragmae asked of them.

"Woof?" Izuku assumes that Tsuragmae has an urgency to speak like the species his Quirk is derived from. Similar to Tsuyu's Quirk.

"So, you're the U.A. students who bought down the Hero Killer, huh?" Tsuragmae was surprised at how much power today's youth have.

"We-" Izuku tried to speak but Tenya stepped in.

"I wasn't the one to bring the Hero Killer down. It was Izuku, if it weren't for him, I will be laying in a pool of my own blood right now." Tenya said some really heavy stuff at the end that made the room go silent for a few seconds before the Chief spoke up again.

"Well, uh. Stain had some serious injuries. Internal bleeding, fractured bones in the chest area, a concussion, and a popped testicle." That last one made the whole room cringe. "Right now he's in the hospital under strict guard, woof." He looked at Tenya. "Here's a lesson you should have already learned. When Quirks became the norm, the police force sought to maintain the status quo. They decided we wouldn't use Quirks as weapons. That's when heroes came in. They could do what we couldn't if they were licensed, of course, wood. It would be impossible for the police to condone the use of deadly Quirks. After all, we're here to stop such harm from being done. The only reason pros can use their powers now is because of the strict code of ethics that the early heroes chose to abide by. That's why it's against the law for uncertified people to use their Quirks to cause injury. Whether you were up against the Hero Killer or not. You did not have the authority to harm the villain." Tsuragmae wagged his finger at Tenya.

Tenya looked down at the ground, disappointed in himself as Izuku was just worried if they were getting a punishment or not. Will he be expelled from UA? Will he have to give up One for All to Mirio? Is this the end? These though race through his mind.

"That means you, and your supervisor, Manual, should receive harsh punishments for this gross abuse of your power." When Tsuragmae only mentions Tenya and his supervisor, Manual. Izuku gave him a confused look.

"What I've said is the official stance. But any punishment would only be necessary if this went public. If it did, you'd probably be applauded by citizens everywhere. But there's no way you could escape from being reprimanded. Since Izuku was permitted by Sir Nighteye to fight any villain. He did not violate any law nor did he misuse his Quirk."

"Wait what?!" Izuku took a step back. He needed time to process this. "I give you full permission to fight any villains tonight." Those were the words that Sir Nighteye told him when that Brain Nomu attacked. "Oh yeah, you did gave me permission." Izuku scratches his head.

"Well to be more specific you'll be given most of the credit. Since Lemillion and Sir Nighteye come in and dealt some plows. But we can not allow information that Iida had also fought to get out to protect him from any punishment as previously stated." Tsuragmae clarify.

Izuku smiles but then it hit him. "You knew about this!" Izuku points to the confused Sir Nighteye.

Sir Nighteye. His Quirk: Foresight. After touching someone and locking eyes with them he has the power for the next hour to see the choices that person will make. The activation requirement is secret.

Izuku accuses Sir Nighteye of looking into the future to see Izuku defeat Stain since it would make sense why Sir Nighteye was so calm on the idea of Izuku facing a murderer that ended the career of multiple heroes. But he didn't fully know the activation requirements and that Sir Nighteye choices to only look one hour ahead, not days.

"Well..." Sir Nighteye adjusted his glasses' placement on his face. "No. I only suggested you'll be facing the Hero Killer in the hope you would chicken out to prove my point on how you are unworthy of being a hero." Sir Nighteye told Izuku the truth.

"Oh..." Izuku was kinda blushing due to his incorrect answer.

The room went silent again due to what Sir Nighteye said to be really fuck up to say to a child.

"That kinda sadistic. I like it." Gran Torino gave a thumbs up.

Manual decides to shift the attention to him. "Seem like I'll need to take responsibility as a supervisor." He had little tears coming out of his eyes.

The regretful Tenya walk over to Manual and bow to apologize "I'm sorry. I should've listened."

Manual chopped his head. "Yeah! You caused us a lot of trouble. Remember that, and don't do it again."

"And... I think I should at least apologize as well. Since I shouldn't have gone on by myself and waited for other Pros to occupy me." Izuku bowed to apologize as well.

"Good to see you still recognize your flaws. A good sign of self-improvement." Sir Nighteye gave a slight smirk.

Izuku was taken aback by Sir Nighteye's kind gesture but it found it comforting.

"As the chief of police, to thank you." Tsuragmae bows to Izuku.

"I think it's time to say goodbye to your friend for now." Sir Nighteye made his way to the door. He signals Izuku to get a move on.

"I should get going too." Gran Torino leaves the room.

Izuku looked at his injured friend, worry about him.

"Go. I'll be fine." Tenya smile to reassure All Might Jr.

Izuku smiles also and races off to be by Sir Nighteye's side as they leave the hospital room.

——————————————————————

While Izuku is walking through the hallways of the hospital with Sir Nighteye when he remembers something.

"But I will give you one more chance to be acknowledged by me." Izuku was curious about Sir Nighteye's stance on him now. "Hey, Sir Nighteye?"

"Hm?" Sir Nighteye stopped.

"What can you contribute to society? What do you hope to gain to be acknowledged by others? You have to answer those questions unequivocally. All Might is acknowledged because he uses power and humor. He gives hope to those who live in fear of criminals. That's why the people were happy to acknowledge him." Izuku asked a very important question. "Am I acknowledged now?" He was hoping for a yes.

Sir Nighteye lingered on this question and said. "We'll see in due time." Sir Nighteye walks ahead of Izuku without a proper answer.

"Wait? Is that a yes or no?" Izuku watched as Sir Nighteye continues to walk away. "Please answer!" He just didn't want the thought of giving One for All up to someone else to linger in his mind anymore.

Meanwhile in a beautiful blue sky and a busy street,

Two teenagers are freaking out in the latest news.

"Whoa, they arrested the Hero Killer! Awesome." Boy A rise yelled with glee.

"Seriously? Who took him down?" Boy B asked.

"A UA student!" Boy A answered m.

"Huh?" Boy B was a bit hesitant to take that seriously.

"Yeah! Izuku Midoriya!" Boy A remembers who that boy was.

"That the guy who tied with Endeavor's kid in the Sports festival!" Boy B slap in his forehead remembering how exciting the boy's match with Shoto was.

"Yeah and listen to this!" Boy A showed a video that seem to be a camera at a corner looking into a dark alleyway. We can't see much due to the Stain Fight mostly being deep inside the alleyway but they can clearly hear Izuku's voice through the audio.

"There are plenty of things I'd like to say, but they'll have to wait. All Might was right, though. Meddling when you don't need to is the essence of being a hero!" Izuku had yelled so loud that the cameras were able to pick up the noise.

"Woah! That's so cool!" Boy B's eyes had an awe of amazement in them. That was mostly due to his Quirk: Sparkle Eyes, but he still impressed with Izuku nonetheless.

"His spree was exciting in a weird way." A worker told her friend her feelings about Stain's rampage on their way to work.

"Yeah. I know what you mean." Her coworker agreed.

——————————————————————

Meanwhile, the news broadcasts treated the Stain Incident at Hosu as a special report as they mostly just brush the Nomus' Incident to the side to talk more about Stain.

A reporter who was a female with brown hair and a purple suit was recording in the area Stain was defeated in. "I'm coming to you live from Ekou street in Hosu city. Last night, just after 8 P.M., the Hero Killer Stain was defeated by a UA student of all things in this very blo-" The TV was shut off.

It was Kurogiri who shut off the TV for Shigaraki's sake, but the manchild was already upset while reading the newspaper.

"They are all people talking about." He was referring to Izuku and Stain. He crushes the newspaper. "What about my Nomus?" He throws the newspaper aside and slams his fist on his desk. He remembers his declaration that no one will remember the Hero Killer after his Nomus ravish Hosu City. "Not only have they not forgotten, but we didn't even make the front page." Shigaraki was humiliated, and frustrated. He stopped when he saw the picture of Izuku winning the obstacle race. "All because of you..." He grabbed and disintegrated the photo into dust.

——————————————————————

Meanwhile in UA's staff room. Toshinori and the others UA Teachers were doing basic boring school stuff when the silence was interrupted by a ringtone.

"A phone call is here! A phone call is here! A phone call-" Toshinori answered the phone. "Yes, hello?"

Both Shota and Mic were stunned by Toshinori's ridiculous ringtone. "He can't possibly be serious with that ringtone." Shota thought.

Toshinori rapidly stood up from his chair. "Wha-?" He looked at his colleagues. "I got to take this." Toshinori slowly walked out of the room.

——————————————————————

Toshinori races to the teacher lounge and immediately sat on the couch. He hesitate a bit before finally putting up the phone again.

"Hello... Nighteye."

"All Might..." Sir Nighteye felt weirded out by speaking to his old friend again.

"There's nothing I can say. I've done terrible things to you." Toshinori was very apologetic to Sir Nighteye.

"You're being very respectful. I don't resent you at all. I just want to talk about the kid." Sir Nighteye changed the subject.

"Oh god." Toshinori was worried. He read a news article about Izuku's victory over Stain and when read the part about how Sir Nighteye and Lemillion come in late into the fight. He knew that Izuku must've rushed ahead of them or didn't have them come with him.

"You coulda warned me about Midoriya. I know it probably couldn't be helped, but his tendency to jump into situations without thinking is unacceptable, but as expected as you were the one to pick him." Sir Nighteye joked.

"I humbly apologize." Toshinori sounded defeated. "Don't blame Izuku for anything. Blame me. It's because of insufficient teaching."

"No. Don't try to defend the kid for his own faults, although if you worry about me finding him unworthy, don't. Despite his faults, I do find him to be a decent successor." Sir Nighteye admits.

"That's a relief." Toshinori sighs.

"I also want to talk about the Hero Killer, also." Sir Nighteye told Toshinori. "I saw him in person. And during that time, he shook me to the very core. There is such hatred inside of that man. Even Gran Torino was shaken."

"I can't believe he was able to frighten someone like Gran Torino." Toshinori was in disbelief. "He must have already been tied up, so what scared you?" He asked Sir Nighteye personally.

"It probably stemmed from his stupid ideology. There was something very imitation about his obsession. He's got this warp version of your determination when it comes to you being the Symbol of Peace. There're similarities." Sir Nighteye seems to have disdain over this creepy All Might fanboy that's not Izuku.

"What do you mean." Toshinori asked.

"I won't lie when I say this, you've both got charisma. As the investigation continues, his ideology and opinions will be all over the media. Everyone will want to know his motives. The age we live in, for better or for worse, is one of suppression. That's where the group that the people call the League of Villains comes in."

Toshinori was intrigued and yet worried about what he meant.

"The Hosu incident suggests that Stain and the League are connected somehow. That means... the League will go from being thought of as a bunch of hopeless basements dwellers that attacked UA to being recognized as a group with an ideology. In other words, these new converts will seek them out. Even if each individual is insignificant, if that evil gathers under one banner it'll swell to unstoppable proportions. If the villain in charge knew this would happen from the beginning, then he is a brilliant strategist. He's steadily getting rid of any obstacles one by one trying to create conditions that will favor his own purpose."

Toshinori got increasingly worried as he knew who the leader could be. "When I heard from Tsukuachi that Nomu had multiple Quirks. I had a bad feeling. What if he's back." He clenches his fist.

"You're concerned it could be the man who killed your master, the previous user of One for All. The man who opened that hole in your stomach. The man who I now believe will be the one to kill you in the future. You're afraid that All for One is on the rise again."

"For him to've survived such injuries, though, I don't wanna imagine it's possible." He was in denial, but deep down he knew it was probably all true.

"All Might. Midoriya admires all that you do. You should tell him everything concerning you and One for All. Tell him all of it." Sir Nighteye demanded.

Toshinori stayed silent. He wanted to tell the boy, but it could frighten him. However, it was inevitable, so it was best to try to prepare him for it the best he can. "

——————————————————————

Meanwhile outside of Best Jeanist's agency.

"It's possible some villains were inspired by what happened in Hosu. That means they could be feeling bolder. This may just be a patrol, but keep your guard up." Best Jeanist told Katsuki.

"Yeah, yeah." Katsuki was pissed. He didn't want to hear and he didn't want to be here. He was hoping to fight some goddamn villains like Deku.

"Here's a question for you. Patrols are mainly meant to deter villains from committing any crimes. But they also have a secondary purpose. What is it." He quizzed Katsuki.

He gave a devious smile. "If we see some bad guys, we can beat 'em up on the spot!" Katsuki confidently and incorrectly answered.

"Incorrect." Best Jeanist wonders what he'll do with the savage boy.

"Hey, it's Best Jeanist!" A schoolgirl with her friends pointed out.

"Thank you so much for keeping us safe!" An alien-looking schoolgirl yelled.

The girls squeal when Best Jeanist waves at them.

"The answer is: to remind people who we are. Our presence gives the public peace of mind." Best Jeanist corrected Katsuki.

Katsuki growls at the stupid answer.

"This helps weave a tapestry of trust between the protectors and the protected." Best Jeanist explains why is it so important to patrol for the people.

"I think you just like getting recognized!" Katsuki accused.

"Hey." A little kid with his friends points at Katsuki "I've seen that blond guy on TV before!"

"Another fan from the Sports Festival." Katsuki assumed.

"Yeah, an ooze villain caught him and he almost cried like a baby!" He and his friends mocked Katsuki.

Katsuki was so angered by that comment he spiked up his nice coned hair. "What did you say?!"

Boys whimper in fear of the overgrown chihuahua.

"Have you forgotten everything I've taught you? Talk with them like a pro." Best Jeanist scolds Katsuki.

"Yeah. Fine." Katsuki said in defeat. He walked up to the three scared kids.

"Listen up! I wasn't helpless. I was just coming up with ways to fight him. Sometimes a hero has to pretend he's been caught. You really think I would lose?" He began to yell at their faces. "You'll eat those words when I'm the new number one hero!" He grabbed one of the kid's collars. "You dumb kids'll never laugh at me again if you know what's good for you!"

All the boys began to cry and scream harder due to Katsuki's even more aggressive attitude.

He sighs. "He has too much pride. It would be one thing if he channeled all that passion toward becoming a hero, but at this rate, he could turn out quite poorly." He watches as Bakugou stands there, dumbfounded as the children continue to wail "So, then, what do I do with him?" He questions.

"Why are you crying!" Katsuki yelled so loud that the children ran calling for their mothers. Katsuki grunted and then grunted. "Huh?" Katsuki was bound up. He couldn't move.

"What's brother you?" Best Jeanist got up right into Katsuki's face to ask that question.

Katsuki answered. "It's those snot-nosed brats."

"You're lying." He pokes Katsuki's forehead. "There's something else brothering you?"

Katsuki only growls and grunts trying to break his restraints, he didn't want to answer.

"Is it because of the Hero Killer's arrest?" Best Jeanist asked.

Katsuki stayed quiet, but his face gave the answer right away.

"Is it because of Deku?"

Bakugou stops, uncertain and wary of the pro hero.

"I see that watching your old friend rise above it hurts your very prideful self."

"What!? How do you know that?!" Katsuki wanted to know how he found out he and Izuku were friends.

"Your parents invited me to their place earlier this week." Best Jeanist began to reminisce about his time at The Bakugo Resident. "They told me all about you, your history. And the desert your mother made was amazing. And their clothing ideas were outta this world!" He notices the little angry boy slowly dying of cringe. "Right! Back on track."

"Please do." Katsuki begged.

Best Jeanist brought up the Sports Festival. "I saw when you spoke to Midoriya after the Calvary Battle. I don't what exactly you two were talking about, but knowing your prideful behavior you probably challenged him to fight in the finals, right?" Best Jeanist was spot on.

"Yeah! So what?!" Katsuki yelled.

"So when he tied with Endeavor's son, you felt left behind. You felt the power of the two and wondered how you surpass them. And I read a news article talking about Izuku and Sir Nighteye, the hero he is currently interning with."

"And my parents told you how much I like All Might..?" Katsuki correctly guess.

"Yes. So having the sidekick of the man you look up to pick Midoriya over you seem to only confirm how far ahead he is. Your pride is even more damaged as you see him receiving all the praise and glory online that you use to receive at your Junior High."

"They told you about that too?!" Katsuki blushed as he wondered what else Best Jeanist heard about him from his parents. Katsuki grunts. "It doesn't matter! I'll surpass once I get out of this shitty agency! Maybe next time I'll join Nighteye's agency!" Katsuki hoped.

"Well, you can forget it! You don't understand what it truly means to be a hero!" He scolds the boy.

"Yes, I do! It's being the best! The strongest! Being the one to always win!" Katsuki didn't appreciate how the number four hero didn't understand that.

Best Jeanist sighs. "No, a hero is someone who uses their power for the sake of protecting others. Which is something your... friend has learned very nicely."

Bakugou's teeth grind together, he couldn't believe he just said that.

"During the Sports Festival you displayed magnificent control over your Quirk, you're in peak condition, and you have a brilliant strategic mind, but..."

Bakugou throws the hero a confused look. "But what? A hero has to be able to win all on their own."

"Do they?"

"Huh?"

"You and Midoriya being on the same team allow you to keep your headband during the whole game. Even All Might knew the strength of others, that's why Sir Nighteye become his sidekick. You may not accept this, but by yourself you're strong, but with others you are unstoppable. Accept the truth, a hero can't do everything."

Yeah, believe it or not, he does understand what he's trying to say. But his mind keeps telling him otherwise. He doesn't want any weaklings helping him. They'll only hold him back. But can he really be the number one when people like those children will just fear him? Will he just be Endeavor? Number two...

——————————————————————

Speaking of Endeavor. Since Shoto is not currently in the hospital, he is fine-tuning his fire even more. Everyone else internships are the same as in canon.

——————————————————————

Meanwhile at Tsuyu's agency. She interned in Selkie's agency with his sidekick Sirius. During the internship, one of Selkie's crew members says they've received a mission from the coast guard. Later, Selkie boards the ship without Tsuyu, much to her dismay. Onboard the fishing boat, Selkie and a couple of his crewmates are trapped inside after being fooled. Using her Quirk, Sirius hears Selkie tell her this boat was a decoy and they must pursue the real stowaways. They find another boat hiding in the shadows of a large rock and board it. They are immediately attacked by the criminal ringleader: Innsmouth.

——————————————————————

"Froppy!" Sirius yelled.

Tsuyu yelped as she was captured by the villain: Innsmouth.

Innsmouth cackles. "I've got you now."

"A villain!" Sirius stated the obvious.

"And here I thought I'd gotten away with it. But you idiots just won't give up, now will you?" He tightens his grip on Tsuyu.

"Ribbit!" She yelled.

"A girl and some are all that's left to stop me?" He mocks the girls.

Sirius slowly pulls a retractable baton. She roared as he hit him with it.

Innsmouth tried to swipe it away from her, but his body couldn't move. "My body! It's not moving!" He yelled. He was confused about what was going on.

Tsuyu smiles. "It's because you were coated in a toxic mucus I've created." She pulled her arm out of the tentacle restrain to reveal her arms covered in mucus.

"What?" Innsmouth yelled. His eyes widen when he heard a click.

"You're under arrest!" Sirius smiles.

"No!" The villain cried.

——————————————————————

From there it was easy to call the other heroes and arrest the rest of the villains.

——————————————————————

On the last day of the internship.

"I know I wasn't here long, but thanks for everything." Izuku was grateful for everything he learned here.

"No problem." Mirio said.

"You're welcome!" Bubble Girl cheered.

"Yes. You're welcome." Sir Nighteye said

"Thanks to you guys, I was able to stand up against Stain at all because of Mirio's and I sparring matches." Izuku thanked them.

"You survived only because the Hero Killer allow you to. Don't overestimate yourself." Sir Nighteye warns.

Izuku gasped, getting the big picture.

"Can you two give us a moment alone?" He asked Mirio and Bubble Girl.

"Yeah, sure."

"Ok."

"See ya, Izuku- Deku!" Mirio cheered.

Both Mirio and Bubble Girl went inside the agency.

"Bye." Izuku said too late.

"Listen Izuku. I'm sure you know this, but, even though I see you as a worthy successor, I still see Mirio to be the better choice. So you still have a long road ahead to prove yourself to me, to prove yourself to everyone else, to prove yourself as the greatest hero like All Might." Sir Nighteye stares intensely into Izuku's eyes. "So keep going."

Izuku was nervous at first but worked up the courage to yell. "Yes, sir!" He ran off to the train station. "Bye for now!"

"So he's the future? He may not look or act like him, but he still has All Might's courageous but sometime-stupid mindset. I think he will become the very best." Sir Nighteye smiles before entering his agency. "If only you could see the day that the hero "Deku" is celebrated as the new Symbol of Peace." Sir Nighteye frowns.

——————————————————————

The day to return to UA high school.

Both Eijiro and Hanta are laughing hysterically at Katsuki's new hair. "Holy crap!" What the heck, Bakugo?"

Katsuki felt ashamed and embarrassed by the whole situation. "Stop laughing!" He demanded. "My hair's gotten used to this and I can't get it back the right way. Did you not hear this? I'll kill you both." If they weren't going to shut themselves up, he was going to do it for them.

"I'd like to see ya try, pretty boy." Hanta mocked Katsuki.

"What'd you call me?!" Katsuki was so angered by that comment that his hair was able to spike up once more.

"Hey, there it goes!" Hanta and Eijiro laugh at how triggered Katsuki was to the point he was able to fix his hair.

"Awesome! Did you get to dace actual villains? I'm super jealous!" Mina said.

"Well, I didn't fight. All I did was help people evacuate and provide logistical support." Kyouka undermined her necessary role.

"But it still sounds like so much fun." Mina wished she had been there.

"I spent the whole time training and cleaning the ship deck. Though, there was this one day we caught a bunch of drug smugglers." Tsuyu calmly let out like it was no big deal.

"Okay, that's cool!" Both Kyouka and Mina were jealous.

"What about you, Ochako? How was your week?" Tsuyu turned to her friend.

Ochako's pupils were gone, her eyes blank. She seems to be in some sort of mental zone. "I'd say that it was very enlightening." She started to throw her hands in the air.

The three girls were kinda weirded out by Ochako's behavior.

"I think she found her fighting spirit." Tsuyu commented.

"Yeah, that battle hero must've been something else." Kyouka said.

"After one week she's like a totally different person." Denki said.

"Different? Don't be fooled. Kaminari." Minoru's face turn into one that had a mixture of fear and anxiety plaster on it. "All women are demons at heart. They just hide their true personalities behind pretty faces." Minoru corrected Denki.

"What the heck did Mt. Lady do to you?" On second thought he didn't want to know or care. "Everyone at my internship loved me. It was kinda great. Now, if you wanna talk about the ones who really changed, it was those two." He points to Tenya and Izuku.

"Oh, yeah! The Hero Killer!" Hanta brought up the topic.

"Nice work, Izuku! You're so manly!" Eijiro yelps as Katsuki tighten his grip on his collar after his complement to Izuku.

"I can't believe one of my own classmates actually defeated the Hero Killer. I hope your two mental healths are ok after that terrifying experience." Momo was worried about her classmates' well-being.

"Kinda surprise it was Izuku of all people to defeat Stain. Especially with the number of Pros like Endeavor or Ryukyu was on the scene too." Rikidou pointed out.

"So cool." Toru said.

Speaking of Endeavor. "I wish I was there to help." Shoto said. He was in the area after all, but hey! It all works out in the end.

"Hey, look!" Mina put her phone in front of Izuku's face which made Izuku step back a bit. "You got your own fan club now!" She cheered for her friend's found fame.

"Bet there's a lot of hot girls part of that club..." Minoru cries in a corner away from everyone.

Mashirao changed the conversation to a similar topic. "Did you guys hear the news about the Hero Killer? Everyone's been saying that he was somehow connected to the League of Villains. Can you imagine how frightening it would've been if that creep had been there when they attacked the USJ?" Mashirao shivers just thinking about it.

Denki jumped into the conversation. "He's scary, yeah. But did you see him in that weird video? It's all over the internet."

"I didn't even know there was a video of him." Mashirao wasn't aware

"Yeah. Stain's a pretty evil villain, but, like, super tenacious. He's almost kind of cool, dontcha guys think?" Denki said without realizing Tenya was still standing there.

"Kaminari." Izuku couldn't believe his friend would say that without some sort of awareness.

"Uh-Oh! Dude!" Denki finally realize his mistake and covered his mouth before saying any more stupid things.

"No, it's okay. You're fine." Tenya was fine. "It is true that he's quite a tenacious villain. I understand why people might think he was cool. But instead of helping the world, his beliefs led him to cold-blooded murder. No matter his motives, the killing cannot be condoned." The whole room stayed quiet. "To keep anyone else from suffering like me, well, I promise: I will strive to be the perfect hero." Tenya promises to everyone.

"Yeah, let's do it!" Izuku also agreed with that sentiment.

"It's time for class to begin! Everyone, please take your seats." Tenya commanded.

"He's back." Fumikage didn't like Bossy Tenya.

"This is your fault for talking about weird stuff." Kyouka shamed Denki.

"Sorry, I'm gonna keep my mouth shut." Denki apologizes to her.

"Way to go, Iida." Izuku was proud of how his friend was back to his old self.

——————————————————————

Later, outside the UA school. All Might proceed to test the newly rev up students in a new training area.

"I am here!" All Might said his ironic catchphrase. "Hope you're ready to return to our lessons. Today it's Hero Basic Training. Feel like I haven't seen you in a while. Welcome back. Now then. Listen carefully for what's in store. We're going to be conducting a little race. Take everything you've learned from your internships and apply it to this rescue training." All Might advised the students.

Tenya raises his hand to ask a question. "If it's rescue training, then shouldn't we be at the USJ instead?"

All Might answer why that is not the case. "Ah, that facility specializes in disasters. As I said earlier, this is a race. So prepare." All Might started to introduce the students to the training field. "You're about to step into Field Gamma! Inside, is an area full of factories that form an intricate labyrinth, so good luck finding your way around. You'll be competing in groups of five. Each person starts from a different location on the outskirts of the model city. I'll send a distress signal and you do what you must to rescue me. Whoever, finds me first wins!" He explains the game. "But try to keep the property damage at a bare minimum, please." He points at Katsuki.

"Why're you pointing at me?" Katsuki acting like he doesn't know why.

"All right. The first group, get to your places." All Might chose the first group.

——————————————————————

The first group consists of Izuku Midoriya, Yuga Aoyama, Ochako Uraraka, Rikido Sato, and finally Fumikage Tokoyami. Each of there was separate but have the same amount of distance from All Might.

——————————————————————

"Deku got this in the bag!" Ochako cheered, swinging her fist in the air.

"No, he doesn't." Katsuki retorts.

"Yeah, but Fumikage interned with Hawk, right? He might edge out Midoriya." Kyouka pointed out.

"I'm still faster." Katsuki retorts again.

"Everyone in this group has really good speed." Eijiro wasn't sure who was going to win.

"Well, everyone but Yuga. He's at a heavy disadvantage due to his lack of mobility." Momo felt sorry for her classmate.

"That's what I think. Moving around isn't one of his strong suits that's for sure." Kyouka agreed with Momo's statement.

Eijiro turns to Denki to make a bet. "Who's your pick? I'm bettin' on Midoriya."

"Oh, yeah?" Denki gave a thought about it. "I got odds on Tokoyami."

"I pick Uraraka. Cause she's got a super athletic body." Minoru was being a perv again.

"I hope Deku will be last." Katsuki didn't want to admit it, but the only thing he could do is hope since Izuku isn't going down easily.

——————————————————————

"Is everybody ready? Begin!" All Might pushes a remote button that signals them to his position.

It wasn't even ten seconds and Izuku and Fumikage were already blasting through the obstacles like they were nothing. Fumikage used Black Fallen Angel from the Sports Festival and Izuku was using 15% of One for All, but at the moment of impact he draws up 20% to not damage his limbs.

"Woah! Look at them go!" Ochako said as she grapple from one building to another.

"Oh, man. I wish I was that fast." Rikidou was fast, but Izuku and Fumikage were faster.

"You're pretty fast, Midoriya." Fumikage complemented.

"Thanks..." Izuku wasn't used to being given praise by someone as dark and cold as Fumikage.

"But..." Fumikage watches as Izuku's foot slips, missing the pipeline and falling to the floor. "You still have to watch your step."

"Ah!" Izuku falls to the floor.

Fumikage turns his attention to All Might standing there. "I can see him- What?!." Fumikage felt a rush of air as Izuku passes him.

"Yes!" Izuku sling-shot himself to give the boost he needs to make it to All Might. "I got it! I got it! I got it!" Izuku could feel the victory.

"And it's over. Thanks, hero! And congratulations." He handed Izuku a sash that said 'Thanks for saving me' as a reward.

"Thank you, All Might!" Izuku repeatedly bows to All Might.

——————————————————————

"Bastard..." Katsuki mutters out.

——————————————————————

"Congrats dude!" Rikidou congratulated Izuku.

"Yes, congrats." Fumikage wasn't mad, just upset he lost.

"Uraraka." He walked to Ochako. "I like your new costume." He complimented.

Ochako sort of blushed a bit. "Thanks! And look. Seeing you inspired me to have these wires put in my costume." She shot out a wire just then. "They're nothing compared to something like Sero and his tape. But it still helps me be a better hero like you." She raises her fist, waiting for a fist bump.

Izuku blushes a bit before speaking. "L-lets be greater heroes together." He fist-bumps her.

"Yeah!" Shape Shadow joins in the fist-bumping.

"Darn it, Shape Shadow!" Fumikage yelled as he felt like it was rude to jump into their moment together.

"Oh sorry..." Shape Shadow apologize.

Everyone just laughs it off like no big deal.

"Did I do well, hmm?" Yuga was shooting lasers into the sky as he use Navel BuffetLaser.

"The goal was to find me..." All Might was deadpan.

"Then how's this." Yuga showed off Navel Saber.

All Might sigh and change the topic. "Young Midoriya may have come in first, but compared to the start of the year, you all showed some incredible improvements. Keep working and preparing for your upcoming final exams!" All Might encourages the students.

"Sir!" All four students yelled.

"Group One, leave the field. You're up, Group Two!" All Might spoke personally to Izuku. "You surprise me. That was incredible." He turn his back from Izuku and gave a thumbs-up. "Find me after class. We need to talk."

"Um... Yes, sir." Izuku said.

"The time has come to tell you the whole truth. About me. And One for All."

Izuku's eyes widen.

——————————————————————

Izuku enter the teacher's lounge where Toshinori was sitting waiting for him.

"Come have a seat." Toshinori seemed very serious.

"He seems... different." Izuku sat down.

"You went through a lot recently. I'm sorry I wasn't around to help you out." Toshinori apologizes.

"Oh, no. You don't need to apologize for that. More importantly... Um, you said you'll finally reveal the truth about One for All. I kinda forgot all about that due to what happened with the USJ, Sports Festival, and the Hero Killer." Izuku said.

"Speaking of the Hero Killer, have you heard about his Quirk?" Toshinori asked.

"Oh, yeah. The media said that his Quirk made him able to paralyze someone after tasting their blood. Is that what this is about?" Izuku asked.

"Do you remember how I gave my power to you? What I said that day?" He remembers that day like yesterday.

"Eat this." Izuku said with his All Might face.

"No, not that part. I said the key was in my DNA. That's why you had to swallow the hair." Toshinori reminds Izuku.

Izuku jumps off his seat when the realization hit him. "Oh, holy crap! Don't tell me the Hero Killer could've gotten One for All!" Izuku was worried.

"No, he couldn't. I just thought you might be worried about that, but..." Toshinori slouches a bit. "I see it didn't cross your mind." He starts to tell Izuku how One for All can only be given with the current user will place into it. He talks about One for All's origin, how it started at the start of Quirks, and the end of society. How it started due to a feud over two brothers, one good and one evil. How the evil brother who took Quirks gave one to the good brother. The good brother's original Quirk and the Quirk that was given by his evil brother ended up mutating, fusing into One for All. Toshinori warns that the evil brother could still be out there, waiting.

Toshinori looked out the window. "So, now you know. The entire purpose of One for All is to defeat All for One. As its holder, you may one day have to fight against this great evil yourself. Because I failed. I know you didn't expect this, but-"

"I'll do my best!" Izuku was determined to fight against anything. "I'll do whatever you ask. No matter what it might take. As long as you're with me. I can do anything! I know you'll have my back!" Izuku was sure of it.

Toshinori started to sweat. "Come on. Tell him. He needs to know."

Izuku's determined face turns into that of concern when he sees Toshinori becoming more and more distressed.

"Izuku... That's not how it will happen. I'm sorry, Young Midoriya. But... By the time you have to face him, I won't be by your side anymore." He told Izuku.

"What?..." Izuku was stunned.

"As you know Nighteye had always been a fan of mine. It was my policy not to take on sidekicks, but eventually, I gave in and let him be my number two. We worked together for about five years. He was the brain behind my operations."

"I know that much. I also know you two got along."

"We did. But, six years ago, we dissolved our partnership because of my injury. Turns out we had different values." Toshinori remembers how Sir Nighteye begged him to retire and find a successor. He warns about his gruesome death by a villain. But All Might refuse to step down. He still wanted to continue to be the Symbol that everyone believes he is. "The two of us parted ways after that argument. We couldn't agree about my future. Principal Nezu recommended Young Togata to me, but before I could meet him I ended up running into you."

Izuku was shocked by all this new information.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to tell you. Because... Because you're my fan." Toshinori looked away from Izuku's face and into the window.

"You're... going to die?" Izuku didn't have any words to say. "That's when it hit me. Death. I've known something bad was coming. And everyone will die someday. But... Being forced to hear it from All Might himself..." Izuku was still processing the information. "You'll die?"

"After we met and I decided I would pass my power onto you, I told Nighteye my plan. But he was so opposed to the idea, and the rift between us grew even deeper. He rejected my decision. He thought I was an idiot throwing my power away. So he started training a candidate he thought was better.

"Hold up. All Might. Tell Me about Nighteye's vision. How far into the future was it?" He asked Toshinori.

"Six or seven years. The further into the future he sees, the harder it is to know exactly when something will happen. But his Foresight has never been wrong."

"Wait, then that would be this year or the next. You're kidding. Right? This can't happen. I want you to live, All Might! Do you remember what you said at the Sports Festival? Our promise?"

"I want you to introduce yourself to the world and proudly say "I am here!" He does remember clearly.

"I can't do that yet. So live. Until I can keep our pact. Watch me tell them "I am here." I need you here. Don't you understand?" He begs.

"Young Midoriya. Back then, when I heard I would die, I accepted ghat as my future. I just figure... I'd keep running at full speed until I got to the finish line." Toshinori already accepted his fate.

"All Might..." Izuku tears up.

"Am sorry..." He apologizes.

"B-but... No! We can't be positive his prediction can come true. It can't happen. I refuse to let it. That's why, no matter what happens to you. I'll be there to help fight fate." He pulls his fist forward, waiting for a fist bump.

"Izuku... You see, so fate everything has been as he said. In each case, Nighteye's predictions have come true. And that's why I can't face him after all these years. Please know I never wanted to become a shackle holding you back. But I'll do it. Let's at least try together." He gave Izuku a fist bump, hoping for the best.

Izuku was worried, depressed even. It seems like there is more weight on his shoulders than ever before.

——————————————————————

The next day was as usual. The students make plans to help each other and exchange notes for the upcoming written exam.

——————————————————————

However, the day did have a peculiar incident at lunchtime.

Class 1-A were sitting at their table chatting away.

"I'm kinda scared." Izuku looked around the cafeteria. He could feel every single eyeball laying on him. And he knew it was because of Stain.

"Hard to believe they'd give us anything too crazy. I heard the written exam questions will be lessons we learn from class, so there's no need to worry." Tenya mistakenly believe Izuku was talking about the exams.

"Do you really think it's going to be that simple?" Ochako was placed 13th out of the whole class. She wasn't smart like Izuku or Tenya.

"They're driving me nuts!" Izuku mildly loudly examined.

"It's a comprehensive test of everything we learned this year." Tooru didn't think it was that hard to grasp.

"I'm not talking about the test!" Izuku nervously looks around the cafeteria. "I'm talking about them." He points his classmates to the entire cafeteria.

"So what? Isn't it cool to have everyone notice you? Some people would kill to be in your position." When Tooru said "Some people," she was actually talking about herself.

"Somewhat agree." Tenya agrees with the "everyone noticing you" part but not the "killing" part. He turns to Izuku. "Look dealing is fame is what every hero deals with. Trust me, you'll get used to it sooner or later." He comforts his friend.

"Can they at least not stare at me." Izuku tensed up when he notices what seems to be a girl with beige hair and eyes with no noticeable Quirk mutation walk up to him.

"Hey! Are you Deku?" The girl asked.

"Y-yes!" Izuku nervously yelps.

"Yo, that's cool! You're the one to defeat the Hero Killer. I was wondering if I could have your autograph-ah!" The girl was pushed by our second favorite blonde egomaniac.

"Oh, sorry! You were in the way!" Neito mockingly apologizes.

The whole cafeteria went silent and just stare at the confrontation.

"Yeah!" Both Tenya and the Beige girl yelled at Neito for that attack.

"You're from Class 1-B. Monoma. That was really mean-" Izuku was cut off by Neito.

"I heard you guys stumbled across the Hero Killer." Neito said.

"Yeah." Izuku nervously gulps.

"Just like in the Sports Festival, Class 1-A isn't happy unless they're the center of attention." He got so close to Izuku's face just to mock him. "But you realize you're not in the spotlight because people think you're good heroes, right? It's just that you keep getting into so much trouble."

"I'm just gonna go..." The Beige Girl was uncomfortable with Neito and slips away.

Izuku thought about it for a bit. Even though Neito wasn't personally talking about Izuku, it felt like he was because he was right. All he does is cause so much trouble, he too reckless when it comes to his Quirk. Someone like Mirio would be so much better than him. He couldn't even use 100% One for All right now and All Might doesn't have enough time left.

"Here food for thought. Someday, the rest of us might get caught up in your mess, and then we'll all become unwitting victims as well. What kind of horrible villains will bring down upon us? What demon-" Just then Neito was knocked out by a chop in the neck by Kendo.

Kendo grabbed Neito by the collar as he almost landed on the floor. "You're making a scene! You can't just say that to people who just went through something terrifying!"

"Kendo." Tenya was grateful that there was a least one Class 1-B member with a screw still in.

Kendo turns to the entire cafeteria who had just seen what happened and yells. "I apologize for him! I'm pretty sure there's a hole where his heart should be!"

Izuku was eating his food while thinking about the man who gave All Might his injury, All for One. "Horrible villains..." Neito was right again.

"Mm. So I was listening..." Kendo explains that it just be robots for the final exams just like the entrance exam.

——————————————————————

After lunch, the class was celebrating how the final exams are going so easy to breeze through.

"All right!" Mina and Denki cheered.

"This'll be super easy if it's just robots!" Denki was confident in his ability to wreck some scrap metal.

"Such awesome news!" Mina felt the same.

"Why do you sound so happy? You both have a hard time controlling your Quirks." Mezo told Mina and Denki but was still dumbfounded on why Denki would be having a hard time controlling his Quirk since he has been shown to have control of his Quirk but has the stupid tendency to put on his egg in the basket-like in his match against Tenya.

"Yeah! But I can let loose with robots!" Denki didn't see the problem.

"And melting them'll be a cinch for me!" Mina cheered.

"Now you just need Yaoyorozu to help you study and you'll be all set for finals." Hanta pointed out.

"We'll definitely be able to go to the training camp now!" Both cheered in unison.

Izuku can only feel more pressure from this exam. "As its holder, you may one day have to fight against this great evil yourself." He clenches his fist. He needs to pass this exam if he wants to take another step toward reaching the top. "In order to be prepared for that. I have to make everything count from now on.

"It shouldn't matter if it's robots or actual people. Why are you morons so excited?" He scolds SpongeBob and Patrick.

"Hey, who are you calling a moron?!" Denki and Mina took offense to that.

"Shut up! You need to learn how to stop putting your eggs in one basket! Ya got it?!" Katsuki scolds Denki's stupidity. He turns to Izuku who was still bothered by the thought of All Might's death. "Hey! Deku!"

Izuku looks at his blonde friend.

"I don't know what's going on with all this attention you've been getting! With getting accepted into All Might's former sidekick's agency and getting someone to actually like you enough to want your autograph because of Stain! It all seriously pissing me off!" Katsuki yelled.

"Uh-oh. He must mean how Deku is getting all the glory he thinks he deserves." Ochako told Mina and Denki.

"Oh, yeah, totally." Mina understands the situation.

"I won't have another half-assed win like the festival." Tenya took offense to that. "We'll be getting individual scores in the upcoming finals- New rankings." Katsuki points towards Izuku. "So we'll all know exactly where we're standing! I'll show how much better I am!"

Izuku didn't know what to say. He can't handle Katsuki yelling at him when he has bigger things to deal with.

"And Todoroki? I'll kill you, too."

Shoto took that to note.

Katsuki leaves the room, leaving a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Especially Shota who was listening in during the whole conversation.

——————————————————————

The students study for the written exams for an entire week and over the three days, each one of them passes the test. The practical exams are revealed to not be robots but the UA teachers themselves. It is due to wanting to help the students to be more well-rounded and forcing teamwork and combat with people. The students are with the same pairs and will be facing the same teachers as in canon.

——————————————————————

The first team-up was Eijiro and Rikido vs Cementoss. Or in this case Red Riot and Sugarman vs Cementoss.

Both students were running through the fake city and to the exit.

"So what do you think?" Red Riot asked Sugarman about his plan. "If we pull it off, we'll definitely get a higher score for capturing, you agree?"

"Yeah, that'd make sense." Sugarman understands the plan.

Both students jump back when a giant stone wall pop out of the ground that could've flung them away. They see Cementoss behind the cement wall.

"Mr. Cementoss can't move around very fast." Red Riot uses Red Riot Unbreakable. "Break me through the front and shoot for a high score! I won't last very long!"

"Got it!" Sugarman ate ten grams of sugar increasing his strength and his speed tenfold. Sugarman pushes the hardened Red Riot to take the full force of each cement wall.

"So you've decided on a direct frontal assault." Cementoss creates cement walls to slow down the students.

But Red Riot just smashes through each wall, however, more walls are created making Red Riot slowly start to chip and wear down. Both students growl as they keep pushing forward.

"Not so fast, kids." Cementoss creates more cement walls.

——————————————————————

Meanwhile, Izuku and Ochako decided to watch the match in the monitor room through a screen.

"Come on, you guys! You've totally got him!" Ochako cheered.

"They're not gonna win it like this." Izuku pointed out.

"Huh?" Ochako wanted to know why Izuku had little faith in their classmates.

Izuku starts to explain. "Their Quirks are amazing, but there's a limit to how long they can use them. They won't last forever." He points to the tiring Red Riot. "I don't think Mr. Cementoss has that kind of limit, though. The more time that passes by, the more of a disadvantage, they're at."

"That's not good." Ochako understands now.

"It's no coincidence they were matched up. Mr. Aizawa's pitting students against teachers they'll have a hard time against." Izuku sees the true purpose of the test.

Ochako gasped when she sees it too.

"To pass, we'll have to recognize our weaknesses... and overcome them." Izuku noted that for when he up against All Might. But no matter what, he still feels uneasy with Katsuki teaming up with him.

"Exactly right. So before it's time for your own final, you should think carefully about your compatibility with the teacher you're fighting." Recovery Girl explains. "And you should have more faith in your classmates." She smugly smiles.

"Huh?!" Both Izuku and Ochako stare at the screen.

——————————————————————

"I'm running out of steam!" Red Riot warns.

"I'm... almost... there!" Sugarman finally pushes Red Riot through the final wall that was right in front of the surprised Cementoss.

"Huh?!" Cementoss was surprised that the students were able to last this long.

"Yeah!..." Red Riot cheered before blacking out after crashing into so many cement walls.

Cementoss's caring nature kicks in and he instinctively catches Red Riot. "You ok?" He checks on his student before hearing a click.

"Got you...I'm tired... So sleepy..." Sugarman falls and fell asleep.

Cementoss look at his arm and see that the Sugarman use the distraction to place a handcuff onto both of them.

Cementoss laughs. "You're both weak when it comes to long-term battles. But it seems you already knew that because of the USJ." Cementoss assumes.

"Yeah... basically..." Red Riot groans through the pain.

"Well, I guess we made our mistake in underestimating your students." Cementoss wonders how his colleagues will adapt to this.

"Team Sato and Kirishima have passed the final!" A robotic voice told everyone through the speakers.

——————————————————————

"It's only the first match and I'm already needed." Recovery Girl went up from her seat and went to aid Red Riot's injuries.

"Look like this is going to be easier than we thought." Ochako was confident

"Don't be sure. They barely made it tooth and nail." Izuku told her. Even so, Izuku considers them lucky. "Unlike them, we're up against the number-one hero."

——————————————————————

Froppy and Tsukuyomi vs Ectoplasm go the same as in canon. They both pass the exams.

Ingenium and Tailman vs Power Loader go the same as in canon. They both pass the exams.

Shoto and Creati vs Eraserhead go the same as in canon. They both pass the exams.

Can't Stop Twinkling and Uravity vs Thirteen go the same as in canon. They both pass the exams.

——————————————————————

The next round was Team Pinky and Chargebolt.

"Team Ashido and Kaminari. Practical Exam. Ready, go!" The robotic voice announced through the speakers.

Both students were running straight for the gate.

"Okay, so, what do you wanna do?" Pinky asked Chargebolt.

"Ag, let's just run." He answered. "Even if he foes find us, he's tiny. I can take care of him with my new gear." Chargebolt shows off his new Sharpshooting Gears. Which constant of new blue glasses and a three-ponged shooter attached to his arm. His costume seems to be his version 2 canon costume.

"Woah! What does it do?" Pinky asked.

"You'll just have to find out and see!"

Both students start to slowly walk and finally stop when they felt a rumble on the ground and banging through the sky.

"Hey. What's that noise." Pinky asked as if Chargebolt would have an answer.

"It couldn't be the principal... Could it?" Chargebolt wonders how much dangerous a small creature like Nezu could create.

One of the large pipes shakes a bit before having its nails shoot off and almost landing on Chargebolt.

"Watch out!" Chargebolt dodges the large pipe.

Both students scream as debris and wreckage started to pile together and create a huge metal avalanche.

"Kaminari. What the crap is going on?" Pinky ran as she asked Chargebolt again."

Chargebolt follows suit. "I dunno, but it's bad for us! And I'm guessing our opponent is behind it!"

Meanwhile, Nezu was sipping tea in his comfortable crane watching this all godown. "Why, yes, I am." Nezu predicted their moves long ago, through his genius calculations. "I can cause chain reactions depending on what I destroy." He uses the wrecking ball of the crane to destroy a building that creates pipes to fall and electrical wires to go haywire. "Such calculations are as easy for me to make as a simple cup of tea." Nezu causes one of the electrical boxes to explode and causes others to explode as well, leaving a huge disaster.

The two students could barely get ahead of the giant debris avalanche.

"Unfortunately, those two don't realize, that, one by one, I'm sealing off every direct path to the escape gate!" Nezu already had a big line of destruction that split the area in half and block the gate that the students need to get to pass the test. "A genius villain always wins from afar." Nezu starts to maniacally laugh as tea spills from his mouth.

——————————————————————

Meanwhile with the other students watching this go down.

"In the past, humans conducted horrible experiments on Nezu. So in a time like this, he gets his vengeance." Recovery Girl explains Nezu's sadistic nature to the fearful students who were grateful that didn't have to face again him, except for Deku, who sees All Might as the bigger threat.

——————————————————————

"Kaminari. Can't you just zap him or something?" Pinky asked.

"I have no idea where he's hiding, and I don't waste all my shots yet. Do you want me to end up braindead? Let's just make for the exit." Chargebolt explains why it's a better idea to just run.

"But can't you fly like Bakugo? I saw you do it way back when we were doing Mr. Aizawa's test back on the first day of UA. So " Pinky hit Chargebolt over the head.

"Yeah, but!... Bakugo." Chargebolt was stunned for a minute. "Shut up! You need to learn how to stop putting your eggs in one basket! Ya got it?!" He looks at his new Sharpshooting gear. "I have an idea-Ah!" Both students scream as a nearby wall almost collapsed onto them, but they dodge it just in time.

Pinky sighs in relief. "What's the plan?" Pinky asked.

"Well it's not fully fresh out, but here's the gist of it." Chargebolt whispers into Pinky's ear.

A little bit later, Nezu was bored. He quickly turn his carne when he heard a spark of electricity. Then turn again when he heard another. "Oh, seem like they're using their heads. This isn't something I predicted." Nezu was excited to see what his students have up their sleeves.

"Yo, principal!" Chargebolt flew similarly to Katsuki. "What's cracking?"

"How long did it take you to find me?" Nezu asked.

"About most of our time." Chargebolt thought about it a bit more before it dawn on him. "Oh no! Pinky make sure to do it quick! We don't have time!" He yelled towards Pinky who was far away in the distance that you couldn't see her doing her own thing.

"Oh! I see you reveal her general location." Nezu started to turn his carne around to create a chain reaction that would stop Pinky.

Meanwhile, Pinky was using her Acidman move to melt through every single wall and debris that was blocking her way to make it to the exit.

Back with Chargebolt. "No!" He shot all three of his metal disk two of them were stuck between the crane's windshield and one of them was indented into the metal frame around the windshield.

"Oh my." Nezu didn't let this stop him. But the surge of electricity sure did.

"Take this!" Chargebolt was sending enough electricity that it was able to stun the carne from moving but wasn't enough to fry his brain.

Meanwhile with Pinky. "Almost there!" After finally melting through every single thing, she saw the gate nearby.

"I'm getting close!" Chargebolt can already feel his brain starting to fry.

"Yes!" She yelled as she made it past the gate.

"Team Ashido and Kaminari have passed the exam with five seconds left." The robotic voice announces.

"Yes!" Chargebolt sighs in relief. But forgot to keep himself afloat and he landed on the wrecking ball that was attracted to the carne.

"You students have done well." Nezu complimented.

"Thanks!" Chargebolt smiles.

"But remember to keep on improving. The only reason you found an escape route is because I allow it, in the future, you may not be so lucky." Nezu explains.

"Yeah. I got it." Chargebolt didn't get it.

——————————————————————

Next was Anima and Earphone Jack vs Present Mic. It goes the same as in canon so both students pass the exam.

——————————————————————

Next was Grape Juice and Cellophane vs Midnight.

"Team Mineta and Sero. Practical Exam. Ready, go!" The robotic voice announces.

Both students were on guard searching for Midnight.

Midnight chuckles as she sneaks up behind the students.

Cellophane notices her and uses his Quirk to grab Grape Juice. "Look out! We can't get too close to her!"

Grape Juice screams as he was tossed into the sky as Cellophane follows behind by latching from one rock pillar to another.

"Well, darn." Midnight chases after the boys.

"Go!" Cellophane grabbed Grape Juice and ran off.

Grape Juice started to yell and cry as Midnight was making a quick pursuit. "Damn it. How are we supposed to pass this stupid final? This is crap. Totally unfair. There's no way we ever stood a chance at winning here!"

Cellophane back up behind a giant rock and places Grape Juice. "But I thought you were looking forward to the training camp so much?! Are you giving up now?!" Cellophane loudly whispers to not alert Midnight of their location.

"Where are you, boys? The gate's the other way." Midnight chuckles.

Cellophane grunts as he picks up Grape Juice and ran to hide behind another rock that was further away from Midnight's sight. He pants as he rests and then yells at Grape Juice. "What's your problem? Don't you want to become a hero?"

——————————————————————

Izuku, just like Cellophane, was disappointed in Grape Juice's performance. "Mineta..."

"It might be hard for a kid like that to make it out of this school." Recovery Girl commented.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Izuku questions her.

"UA is constantly creating new obstacles that our students have to overcome, that our students have to overcome. In order to keep moving forward successfully, students need to have a concrete goal to focus on. If your desire is just to be a hero for no reason, your path isn't going to be easy. Of someone whose only wish is to become a hero reaches their goal, then they have no real future."

Izuku looks at the screen recording their match. He already know what Grape Juice's probably wants, but he was curious what was Cellophane's motivation.

"I wonder... is there a goal in those two child's hearts he can focus on to win?"

——————————————————————

Grape Juice stays silent on Cellophane's question. He was embarrassed to tell him but did nonetheless. "I want girls to love me, so I can touch them."

"Well, that's straightforward..." Cellophane thought to himself.

"What's their problem? Why is our exam the only one this hard? Just one sniff and we'll call asleep and our team will be failures! It's impossible!" Grape Juice whines. He was always jealous of the good-looking guys always getting the attention of girls. He takes off one of his balls and then contemplates it. "I wanted to be a pro so I'd be popular with the girls." He squeezes his ball. "I thought they'd fall in love with me once I became a real hero." The only real hero he saw was Izuku and how it was because he was so cool. "Dammit, I thought it'd make me cool!"

"Watch out!" Cellophane grabs Grape Juice and uses his Quirk to get away from Midnight. "Ah!" He felt his ass whipped by Midnight's whip.

"I have a deep itch that needs to be scratched. If I see someone running from me and screaming..." She licks her lips. "...my sadistic side aches so bad that I can't sir still."

"Look at her. She's got the eyes of a predator who's cornered her prey! It's like something out of my best-worst nightmare! Ah-!" Grape Juice felt the sudden shift of Cellophane's direction.

"Oh, perfect! I do love the chase." Midnight runs towards the boys.

"Listen, Mineta!" Cellophane yelled.

"Huh?" Grape Juice

Cellophane hides behind a rock. "Look, I understand how you feel, about not thinking you're cool enough." He thought about the Class 1-A heavy hitters, like Izuku, Shoto, and Katsuki. But then he remembers an interview with an American hero that was visiting Japan. The American Hero talks about how even though many consider his Spider Quirk to be weak compared to other Quirks, he still does what he does because if you have the ability to help others, it's no longer a choice, it's a moral obligation to being a hero. Even if it's a small act. And Cellophane found that really cool. "Being a hero doesn't make you cool! People become heroes because they're cool!"

"Right..." Grape Juice.

"How long do you suppose you can evade my scent?" Midnight slowly loom over the rock the students were hiding behind.

"We need to go." Cellophane tried to grab Grape Juice but Grape Juice stop him right there.

"Don't worry." Grape Juice pulls out two of his balls before giving a thumbs up. "I have a plan."

"Tick-tock, little kids." Midnight chuckles.

"You think we don't have a plan?" Minoru said.

"Hm?" Midnight stopped in her footsteps.

"I'm obviously a fan of heroes that are kinda pervy. And that means I know all about you, Ms. Midnight. I know running away and crying can fan your sadistic side. So we now have a shot at escaping. I'll show you I'm actually cool!" Grape Juice was using Cellophane's tape to cover his mouth from the mist.

"You sweet little boy. Why don't you come out and play?" Midnight ripped off her costume to release her sleepy mist.

"That won't work on me!" Cellophane said as he use tape to pull himself towards Midnight.

Midnight uses her whip to try and hit Cellophane. "Where is he?" She quickly scouted the area for Grape Juice, expecting a sneak attack from her blindspots.

"What are you, blind?" Cellophane quips before swinging right past her.

"What?" Midnight questions. She turns and gasps when she sees Grape Juice running straight toward her.

"Your fragrance won't work like this! Will it, lady?" Grape Juice grunts as he threw his balls at her.

"He used Sero's Tape! Ah!" Midnight tried to swing her whip around but it and she were already stuck to the ground due to Grape Juice's balls' stickiness.

"You're right where I want you. It's time to taste my special move!" Just like Cellophane, Grape Juice also ran past Midnight. "Grape Rush!"

Midnight pulls her face mask off and watches as Cellophane and Grape Juice make it to the gate. "How impressive!"

Izuku was happy and cheered for his classmates. "They managed to trap her far away from the gate! There's no way her Quirk can stop him now!"

"Oh, so, they're pretty clever. I think they pulled one over on all of us." Recovery Girl was surprised. "At the end of the day, wanting to be popular with girls is a concrete goal for him" She was referring to Grape Juice. "And wanting to be a hero just to simply to help people, even in form of a small act, is a noble goal." She smiles as she refers to Cellophane.

——————————————————————

"Yes!" Cellophane yelled as he and Grape Juice walk past the Escape Gate, passing them the test.

"Thank to me, we'll live to see boobs another day!" Grape Juice cheered.

"...yeah..." Cellophane sighs.

"Team Mineta and Sero have passed the exam." The robotic voice announced.

Meanwhile, the other students monitoring the match.

"All right, they did it!" Ingenium cheered.

"Mineta had a solid plan!" Creati was impressed.

"Ribbit." Tsuyu said.

Ochako turns to where Izuku was standing. "Deku! Your turn-" She see that Izuku had already left for his match.

——————————————————————

Izuku was running towards the area where his exam will be taking place. "Mineta, Sero. Good job! I'll try my best to be a hero, too. So I don't let our class down! Let him down!" Izuku's running slowly turn into a walk as he saw Katsuki already at the entrance of the exam.

Katsuki turns his head back at Izuku. Izuku notices how Katsuki is sporting a new support item on his back. It looks kinda like a jetpack.

"Tch." Katsuki didn't like how Izuku was just looking at him. He turns his head back to the entrance gate.

Izuku started to get nervous. He even shrunk a bit from that glare.

"Team Midoriya and Bakugo. Practical exam. Ready, go!" The robotic voice announced.
