Prolouge: The Past
To the Diary of Ryou Bakura
Date: August 13th 2005
Dear Journal:
Today, it's finally time! I'm going back to Japan for college. You see, I haven't written in awhile, so I better fill you in. 2 years ago, my father was killed in an accident at a dig, and I had to move in with my grand-parents in England, which made me lose touch with all my friends. I was really depressed for months, but, thankfully, my Yami snapped me out of it, and I gained him as my most trusted friend. Since then, I have been doing a lot of stuff, but now, I'm going to start my training as a teacher, and my Yami agreed to come back to Japan (personally, I think he just wanted to get away from my grand-parents who had discovered him). He's keeping pretty good control over his need to steal the millenium items, and I think he should be fine. I hope I'll be able to get back in touch with at least a few friends.

Hello journal, it's me again! You'll never believed what just happened. I was looking for an apartment to move into while I go to college, and I met up with Isis and Seto (who finally became a couple last year). Seto has a house that he's letting Malik, Joey, Tristan, Tea, Mai, Isis and himself stay in. It's really close to the college we're all going to, so I lept at the chance to move in with them. And before I forget, Malik has had a "change of heart" so to speak, he's really nice, and is taking the acting couses at school, and is really good at it! I'm sure Grampa's happy, whereever he is (he passed away a few months ago). But, the problem is, there is still a spare room, and no one to stay in it. I hope we find somebody, because it's a really nice room. Oh, Yami wants me get back to packing, he really wants to get out of the house. I guess somethings up. Can't wait for him to tell me.
