Flying over the ocean, sea breeze in my hair

Saw a cute baby dolphin jumping up through the air

Up ahead in the distance, I saw a house on the way

Kintooun and I were both tired –we'd stop in for the day

There he stood in the doorway, with some kind of thin picture book

He said, "You must be a warrior born, judging from the way you look."

Then he let me inside and let me get something to eat

There was a turtle sitting by the door –thought he said to me:

For the strong at heart, and the brave and smart

Sparring and stuff and the Dojo Kamesen'nin

If you want to train body, soul and brain

The home was too small, so we went to his training place

But first me and a little bald kid had to find him a pretty face

How we trained on that island –he worked us hard

Everything from fleeing sharks to plowing someone's yard

Then we went to a tournament, and fought an army too

I met a cat named Korin, a witch named Baba, and a weird guy called Blue

And still that turtle is calling from by the door

I guess I'll hear him every day 'til I can hear no more

Rivals at the tournament, strange green men hatched from eggs

We all had our share of challenges in the years ahead
