Author's Notes: I dunno, but I simply HAVE to write a GW/SM crossover right NOW. I had this urge, you see. Don't ASK where it came from, as I am clueless myself. I don't even have a plot worked out. I just have this feeling, and I have to start this fic before the feeling fades. O_O;;

Quickly he stuffed the paper into the folds of his night-robe, his face burning with dread. What could it mean? In this time when every heart (his included) must be set on Peace and government affairs, the idea of another war was unthinkable.
And that's exactly what would ultimately come from her arrival: Partner #89.
"Kuso," he swore. She was encraoching the boundaries they had established years ago upon her leaving. She was...Kami-sama! She was so infuriating!
He could view Quatre's gaunt eyes, over the communication link, just after he had switched it on and dialed his friend's number. "Hiiro...you look ill. Is something wrong?" A solicitous inquiry of his health. Subsequently the blonde Arabian was awake and alert. Indeed, Hiiro found himself wondering why Quatre worried after them all (Trowa, Duo, Wufei, and himself) so much. The beginning of grey threads, interwoven amongst the platinum ones, was rather evident.
He resented revealing weakness, but forced his head to nod, resolutely. "Quatre..." he breathed. "Bunny's back."

There was the expected dismay and mayhem of the relayed data. Duo, if could be compared to a ramshackle barn, seemed ready to fall apart. Aside from all the chaos that had befell them, and was befalling them still, how in the world would he explain it to Relena? Waltz into her bedroom and announce, quite frankly, that his maniacal ex-wife was arriving in less than three days? Sure. He might have as easily picked his poison.
Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn. That was an understatement, when matters concerned Relena.
That was the understatement of the century, when anything concerned Bunny.
He was screwed. He was so damn screwed, he would have been less screwed had he been an actual screw.
And then, poor fool, Duo cowered in the corner, beyond skittish and unapproachable, for he would have shrieked, not unlike the sorry whimpering of a mouse, and fled the room. In fact, hadn't he already?
It was of no importance, now. They'd merely have to wait, and prepare themselves.
Then again, no one could prepare for Bunny. She was an enigma of the most intricate nature. Suddenly, Hiiro recalled why he had loved her initially. He didn't speak to Relena for the next days remaining until Bunny would come.
He couldn't bear to admit, even to himself, that he was dancing dangerously the line of love and hate for none other than Bunny, his long-since gone parter and first lover...and wife.

Author's Notes: Next chapter out within the week, and it'll definitely be longer. ^_^ I dunno, possible Relena-bashin' ahead. I can't wait to write the next chapter, though! **cackles evilly** Gomen ne, for the obvious shortness in length of this chapter.
