The Greatest Friend
If this is the end of everything and everything I know…
Then it might as well end right here.
I don't want to duel you.
I don't want to fight you.
I don't want to be your enemy.
But, I must, if only for Serenity…
I'm torn, between my sister and my best friend
Please, don't let this be the end
But, after this is over and done,
If you can't stand me any longer,
I'll understand.
Tears well up, I hold them back.
I have a plan that I must put into play.
I lay the cards down.
I play out the strategy….
And you still win.
Tears fall, from both your eyes and mine
Somehow, I knew you would win.
I wish you luck, my dear, dear friend
And I hope above all, that this isn't the end.
You give me the card,
