JAROD'S NEWEST DISCOVERY
DISCLAIMER: UNFORTUNATLY THEY DON'T BELONG TO ME. WISH THEY DID, BUT THEY DON'T. SUMMARY: Parker, Sydney and Broots get a laugh out of Jarod's newest discovery.
Parker was furious that they had missed Jarod again. This time they missed him by a full week. Although, it wasn't a big surprise that they missed him, he always seemed to slip right through their fingers.
They had arrived at Jarod's latest lair in hopes of finding the usual, a red notebook, childish toys, and a clue to where he was going next. But they didn't find any of that. What they did find surprised them all, even Sydney.
They didn't find silly pranks that he loved to pull on them, Parker especially. They didn't find gum wrappers, board games, Mr. Potato-heads, fake dog poop or Oreo cookies.
What they did find, though, would give something for them to joke about to Jarod until they day he died, or until he was inside the Centre.
"Well, I guess your little lab-rat isn't as tough as we all thought." Parker said to Sydney, who had a smile on his face as big as the Grand Canyon.
"There is a point to all of this Parker, there always is." Sydney said to Parker in his usual accented voice.
"Ya, that Franken-boy is afraid of the dark." Parker told him while she held up a small glass nightlight of a girl kneeling on a pillow praying, with a teddy bear in her arms.
"Hey, you guys should come see this." Broots exclaimed as he walked back into a room about the size of his room at the Centre.
They all walked in and looked around, completely confused.
"What are we looking at here Broots?" Parker asked.
"Don't you see it?" Broots said somewhat excited. "It's a giant nightlight, of all of us!"
They looked around and noticed that what Broots was saying was absolutely correct. In the middle of the room was a huge light bulb, and covering the walls was a multi-colored stained glass picture of the three of them standing together in a crowded forest, while Jarod ran away.
THE END
