She loves to fly in the sky so high
And when the sun sparkles on her golden scales
She hasn't got much to hide
Except for her pink bowed tail.
She yells and screams when she comes near him
And whips out her trusty iron mace
Though she always tries to act so prim
She gets so frustrated when she sees that face.
In this way she'd never admit
These new feelings deep inside
Every time she thinks of it she has a fit
And she tries to remember her dragon pride.
Never can she say what's in her heart
Cause they'd all laugh and she'd be exiled
However that's only the start
Cause that punishment's very mild.
Now, however, she thinks she'd leave it all
Her pride, her status, her honor just for one day
When she could smash down this wall
Between the two races and end the fray.
But she guesses he'll never know how she feels
Cause she's afraid of what'll she'll find
When she looks in those amethyst eyes and reveals
What she's felt all this time.
Maybe one day she'll tell him that
When she has the courage to say
And truly state it as a fact
And end the longing pain.
