Chapter 1 - It Begins
Disclaimer: I do not own Princess Mononoke and or Ashitaka. :'( I do own Vollys and I might put some more characters in the story.
Author's Note: Umm. I know all my chapters (or soon to come chapters) are short please don't hurt me. Please give me lots of reviews I love reading other peoples opinions so I can make the story better.
Prince Ashitaka had been dead to the Amishi people for eight years. Kaya had been missing her brother terribly. She'd been planning to leave the Amishi village to look for her brother. Her plan was to leave in the dead of the night with her best-friend, Vollys, and head west.
"And tonight is the night," thought Kaya.
She'd have to leave in a few minutes to meet Vollys at the village gates. She had her bag of provisions and was on her way to her red elk Yakuna. On her way to Yakuna she thought of how Ashitaka had defended the village from the giant boar that had cursed him. And the curse that forced her brother to be exiled. Of how she had given him her most prized possession, her crystal dagger. She smiled at the memory, it was precious to her because it was the last time she saw her brother. Now she headed toward the gates.
As Kaya drew closer to the gates she saw that Vollys was nowhere to be seen. She slides off of Yakuna to investigate why her best friend wasn't there. When she got halfway to the gate there was a crash behind her.
