bLoved and Lost/b
Lily Evans was lying face down on her bed, her fiery red hair spreading over the fluffy white pillow. She heard a knock on the window, and yawning, went over and pulled it open. The tired look disappeared from her face as soon as she saw who was.
"Remus! You finally came back! I missed you so much! When did you get back? How was your stay? Did you get your owl yet?"
"Lily, you're rambling, calm down." Remus said calmly. Then, without warning, he leapt over and gave her a big bear hug. Lily screamed, and then started to giggle. Soon Remus was laughing too, without quite knowing why. They both collapsed to the floor, holding their sides.
After they had both calmed down, Lily went back to one of her previous questions.
"Well, did you get your owl?"
"You mean the one from Hogwarts? Yup, I got it this morning."
"Great! That means we've both been accepted!" she replied happily.
"You honestly thought that one of us wouldn't get in?" Remus asked, a little worried.
"Not really, I'm just checking."
"Oh, OK. By the way, my mum wants to know if you're going to be going with us on the way to Platform 11 and ¾?"
"Yeah, I think."
"OK. Umm… I think I have to go now." Said Remus, glancing at his wizard watch, which was nearing the sign 'Nearly dinner'. iIts kinda weird, thought Lily, that he actually has two different kind of watches, a wizard one, and a muggle one. But then again, many wizards did that, to have the best of both worlds…/i
"OK then, bye Remus. See you tomorrow at 8:30?"
He nodded his head, and climbed out of the window, quite fast actually, but he had been climbing in and out of there since they were little kids…
Lily plonked herself on the bed, hoping for a few more minutes of rest before…
"LILY, DINNER'S READY!"
