Spoilers for Season 6 episode: "The Other Guys."
Slight spoiler for: "Window of Opportunity."
An alternative take on the end of "The Other Guys." A follow-up of sorts to 'Illusions of Love.'

When Dreams Collide
Just another day for a daydream...
His jaw muscle twitching profusely, Jack watched on in growing frustration and anger, as Sam devoured Felger's lips. Unable to restrain himself any further, he yanked Felger away from her grasp, "Just what in the hel.." Not bothering to finish his sentence, the last thing Felger saw was Jack's fist flying towards his face.
"Colonel!" Sam cried out, but was cut off abruptly as Jack, who cradled her face in his hands, kissed her senseless.
"O'Neill, what in the blue blazes are you doing?!" General Hammond demanded. Weak in the knees from his impassioned kiss, Sam felt her legs give way, only to be held up by the Colonel's strong arm around her waist.
"That-was making up for what I should have done a long time ago." He shot a smug glance in Tealc's direction, who let a small smile play on his lips. *I won't ever tell O'Neill.*
"Carter!" Shaken out of her fantasy, an embarrassed Sam was thankful for the sunglasses covering her eyes, in spite of the fact her cheeks were fast heating up.
"Yes sir."
"You are very pretty when you blush," Jack replied flirtatiously.
"Oh, and Jack," Sam called.
He turned around, surprised that she had called him by his first name. "Next time, kiss me when I am able to remember."
Meanwhile, in a science lab somewhere:
Shakily, Felger rubbed his jaw, practically feeling the impact of O'Neill's
fist against his jawbone. Thoughtfully, he picked up a beaker and turned it over in his hands, "Do me a favor Coombs."
"Sure, what is it?"
"Don't ever let me kiss Samantha Carter."
Coombs looked at him as if he had a screw loose, "As if she would reciprocate," he scoffed.
"Oh, I have a feeling she would, which would be my demise, trust me."
