I smiled, watching her.
She was cute, rather short. Her hair was a fiery red, as was her outfit. She seemed to be rather young; eleven, twelve? Ever since our two schools had arrived at Tokyo Tower, I had seen her running around, laughing and pointing things out.
I laughed softly, and had started to turn away, when suddenly I heard her laughing voice. Only, she wasn't laughing, she was shouting out in distress. Turning, startled, I soon found myself laughing at the adorable little girl again. There was no emergency; the binoculars had run out of time and she was fussing while her friends made faces.

"Here," I said, reaching into my own pocket and holding out a few coins. I smiled as the girl blinked at me. "I have very much enjoyed watching you have fun," I told her. "Please accept these." She took them wordlessly, and because I didn't feel I needed any thanks, I walked off.
Then, I saw a bright light...
