Why did it have to be,
So hard, so lonely,

Can't you see these tears I hide,
This sharp pain I lock inside,
With dim hope it'll go away,
And so forever will I pray,
For my time to be free,
Of this painful misery.
I'm afraid of what to do,
Can I even put my trust in you?
All those things that you have done,
You've just thought they were fun,

Goodbye for now, you garbage,

And I'll do it with some grace,
Then somewhere, someday, I'll find a way,
To tell you what I really wanna say,
What I really feel inside,
So that I don't have to hide,
And maybe then you'll say it too,
These three words – "I love you".
