Chi-Chi sat bored on the living room couch. It had been months since she had found out she was pregnant. Now the nights were sleepless and the days for unbearable, the pain and boredness of the long hours seemed to take a lot of her precious energy out of her. She often questioned her large abdomen. Why should it be twice the size as the average pregnant stomach? She traced a finger on her stomach to take her from her avid thoughts. She sighed and then closed her eyes to think. With Goku gone, the days seemed endless.
Soon Chi-Chi was lost and thoughts, completely ignoring the sound of someone beating on the door.
"Chi-Chi!! Open up, you've locked the door! Don;t make me knock it down again!"
Chi-Chi rolled her eyes and laughed then slowly got up and wobbled toward the door. She slipped the lock out of place and grasp the handle when a pain so unbearable reeked havoc throughout her body and caused her to collapse to her knees. She let a soft cry out as she fell into unconsciousness. Goku heard the thud and threw open the door and kneeled to her side. He placed a hand on her stomach and then looked at his wife. "Chi- Chi." His voice was soft and filled will worry. "Hold on, I will go to Kami's"
He picked her up then flew out the door into the air. With the added weight he decided to call nimbus and was soon flying through the clouds on the puff of yellow cloud.
10 minutes later he was on Kami's Lookout, talking to Kami himself. They were both in deep thought as they spoke.
"Kami, what's wrong with my wife?"
Kami looked at him and then placed a hand on the stronger being.
"I have to tell you that.....Chi Chi is pregnant with...twins."
Goku's out shot up and he released a scream as he jumped back, waving his arms.
"Twins?!?! That's two, right? Wow. I guess I need to get stronger, with twins and all, huh Kami? Hah Hah" Goku laughed as he finished. Kami just looked at him gravely and shook his head. He was not amused. He tightened his grip on Goku's shoulder and prepared to tell him.
"Goku, if Chi-Chi goes into labor with twins, then..she will...die" He closed his eyes and waited for goku's reaction.
"So? We could just wish her back with the dragonballs!" Goku said. Kami looked at him and shook his head and reality hit Goku. A small tear ran down his cheek from his red eyes.
