Yukito's eyes seemed to be permanently turned into upside-down "U's."
"What the hell is he doing?" thought Touya. He shifted uncomfortably under Yukito's gaze. Erm, at least he thought that it was a gaze. Touya couldn't imagine that Yuki could see anything with his eyes in that unnatural position. However, Yuki's body was facing Touya's general direction.
Touya gulped. Better to change the subject . . . Let's see, let's see . . . Umm . . .
"Gee, my little sister is really popular with the guys! Eriol and Syaoran too!" Touya tried to force some enthusiasm into his voice. It was lame, he knew, but he was never good at making up conversation to get his alleged best friend to stop staring at him with what seemed to be a physically impossible look.
Yuki did not respond in any way.
"So Yuki, what do you think?" Touya asked, hoping that Yukito would open his eyes when he spoke.
"Touya! Your wrists are so nice!"
WHAT . . . THE . . . HELL. What the hell did Touya's wrists have to do with anything he had been talking about? What sort of crack was his friend smokin'? The scary part was, deep down, Touya knew that his friend had nothing wrong with him.
Yukito turned to Touya, his eyes full and shining. Touya could almost see Mount Fuji reflected in them. Yuki stared at his shirt sleeve; his hands were folded demurely in front of him.
"Touya," said Yuki carefully, "I've got something to say."
Touya looked around the room. He hoped that Yukito wouldn't start mincing around the room again. Then Touya would just have to smack him.
"Um . . . ano . . . I really . . . I really like you, Touya. Through all these years I've been trying to keep it a secret but--"
"Secret my ASS! You are such a fucking fag, Yuki, you know that? I've been hanging out with you all these years trying to convice myself that your pathetic attempts at flirting were just innocent comments. Well, that is over now."
He smacked Yuki and ran away. Disclaimer: I knew it would be controversial posting this. I am NOT homophobic; I wrote this just to parody/show that I am sick of the abundance of predictable amazingly sappy "Yuki-and-Touya-admit-their-love- and-make-out" fics in which everything turns out happy-happy.
