(A/N: Okay, a poem about the big Mallorn tree that Sam planted with the
seed Galadriel gave to him. It's rather descriptive. All property of J.R.R.
Tolkien)
Mallorn
The sweet sunshine falls
Impaled upon golden spikes
Seeping through the ancient mesh
Of angel's faded gold
***
Fire in the sky
Sinks sadly behind the hills
Throwing a last bronze flame
Across the branches of morning
***
In darkness like death
The naked skin glows
Iced by fleeting moonlight
Silver as the sword
***
Then comes morn again
Setting to life the dead branches
Glittering with gems
The golden diamond tree
***
