Disclaimer: I don't own anyone or anything but Jin, the Theater, Alyssa, and Eve. Even Farrow is roughly based on some boy I'm crushing on. O.o Don't tell Noel! Shhhh!

Sneaking Out
by: Elli

Jin peeked around the corner, then turned back, and flashed a grin at Kevin. "All clear, Plushie." she said.
Kevin smiled at her. "Good." he said, with a quick laugh. "Let's get going, Azira. We don't want to be late."
"We'll be there in plenty of time." Jin answered. "Probobly more then an hour early, as usual. I'm more worried about Farrow, or Max waking up, and finding us gone. You know how paranoid Far` is about us running away together. And Max doesn't quite get it yet, either."
Kevin rolled his eyes, and grabbed her small, pale hand.
"Let's go." he said.
They bolted.

Later, Kevin and Jin, eating ice-cream sundaes in which the only thing that wasn't chocolate was the whipped cream, were settled quietly into prime seats in the small, dusty theater. It wasn't a very well-known place, requented only by those who, like themselves, been bitten by a beetle. Or was that a Beatle?
Yup. You heard right. They were in a small theater run by some Beatles-fans who had decided that, becouse of all the Fab Four had given /them/, they had to give something back. They had opened a theater that only showed the Beatles movies. It seemed they particularly enjoyed A Hard Days Night, as that was what was usually showing. Indeed, the Moon Twins had only ever seen the other movies played once a year, in the three years they'd been sneaking out to come to the theater every weekend.
The two were practically bouncing with anticipation. They were talking animatedly about how unfair it was that Ringo had the least fans when, in their humble (okay, not all /that/ humble) opinion, he was not only the coolest, but also the cutest. They usually made up half to all of the audience, but a group of six came in about fifty-five minutes after them.
"Twenty-five percent ain't bad." Jin said, in an under-tone, after the six had seated themselves. Kevin giggled, and nodded. About five minutes later, the movie started.

Later, the two left the movie, giddy, and elated. It didn't matter to them that they'd seen the movie at /least/ twice a week for the past three years. Several times they'd gone nine times in a single week, sneaking out mid-day with difficulty, for the Sunday, and Saturday matinee`s. Indeed, the only days the theater was closed its doors was on days neither of them would even consider leaving their rooms. The anniverserys of John Lennon and George Harrisons deaths.
And so, they were home. They were so hyper, they went straight to the attic, and listening to their Beatles CD's for several hours, before going to bed.

The next morning, Jin awoke, as she did every morning, with great happiness. A whole, happy new day was stretching out before her. She hopped out of bed, barely noticing Farrows absence, and skipped out into the kitchen.
What was first on todays agenda? Ah, yes. Wake up Alyssa. She picked up her pink puppet, deciding it was the creepiest, and set off, to begin her part of the never-ending battle between pessimism, and optimism.
The day began like this; Alyssa causing Jin to cry, Kevin slapping Lys` for it, and Max and Kevin arriving soon after, looking messy, and self-satisfied. It would be several hours before Farrow arrived from the bathroom, and even longer before Eve arose from her bedroom. What fun.

The end

Author Note: Wasn't that fun? It was just a random, spur-of-the moment thing, that I wrote in an attempt to get over a writers block. It worked, as I wrote it in the middle of the 6th chapter of Coming Together, which is up now. Hint, hint. Read it!
