I'll Always Remember
By Anime Otaku Yamato
Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon. It was created by Satoshi Tajiri, and is owned by Nintendo, Game Freaks and JR Kikaku (I think).
Notes: This fic is the sequel to 'If Tomorrow Never Comes'. You should probably read that first, because you won't understand this if you don't. Rated PG-13 for angst and suicide. Seems like most of my fics, ne? This fic is actually in memory of what happened to me on September 25, 2001.

"I love you," the boy said, as his head turned slightly to the side, and he was dead.
The orange haired girl woke up in a sweat.
It had been almost a year since Ash Ketchum had died in hospital after bring struck by a car. All of his friends, especially Misty, missed him dearly.
"Why did you have to die Ash? I'm a wreck without you," Misty whispered into the air as she slowly walked up to the Seafoam Island lookout.
A small tablet was placed next to the road. Engraved on it was:
"Hopes and dreams carry us forward.
They can however be destroyed,
by one simple mistake.
Never let your dreams die,
Never try to resist what you want,
Live forever as you wish,
There's always a chance to take.
Always strive to do your best,
Never give up,
Never let go,
And your destiny will be revealed.
In memory of Ash Ketchum, 1988 - 2002."
Misty sobbed lightly as she continued forward, her legs beginning to ache as she walked up the hill.
Finally, she arrived at the lookout, and stared out towards the ocean. She wished that she could just flow away like the water, and never come back.
Misty slowly climbed over the barrier, being careful not to trip. She slowly leaned forward, still holding the large wooden rail, and with one sudden movement, she began to slowly descend into the ocean.
"I'm coming Ash. We'll be reunited soon," she thought, as her body hit the cold, blue water, and was washed away by the tide.

The girl's spirit floated up to the sky, where she would soon be reunited with her former lover.
The black haired boy felt a strange presence, and went to investigate. He saw a girl, her orange hair flowing slowly with the breeze, as he flew to her and kissed her.
The two broke the kiss, as she whispered, "I refused to forget about you. I'll always remember you saying that you loved me, I promise."
