{Lucy comes home from school on a Friday afternoon with Mary's skirt on all
messed up}
Lucy runs up the stairs of her house. She picks up the phone before looking who is in her room. Mary says to Lucy" Did you take my new $45 skirt........ I saw you in my closet this morning but I didn't say anything cause I was in a rush to get to work."
Lucy mumbles in a soft voice so Mary doesn't hear" Yes I cant say I did cause you would be mad at me forever."
Mary yells" Lucy I need to know now.. tell me the truth."
Lucy looks down and looks at the skirt she is wearing and makes sad face saying" Yes I did Mary. I am so sorry Mary I just wanted to impress this new guy in school but at lunch I was so excited my lunch plate fell all over me and there was a food fight in school.
Mary said to Lucy " There was no food fight in school I was talking to one of your friends was talking to me on the phone and oh yah your friend called to ask you if she can borrow my skirt for the dance. That's how I know that there wasn't any food fight I asked what was up at school today. So you lied to me Lucy.
Lucy says " But Mary I did drop my lunch on me.that wasn't a lie."
Mary makes a face and says " Lucy!!! It says on the tag if gets any food drinks est. You can not wash off, and then it says not returnable."
Lucy's face turns pale. She says to Mary "Mary if I could I would by you anther one but I don't have any money I spent it on my squart. "
Mary interrupts her "No No No Lucy you are not getting past this argument. You messed my skirt up! Why did u do that Lucy why you messed it all up you messed it all up that was suppose to be for work. "
Lucy starts to cry and say " I am sorry I am so sorry please forgive me.. I promise I will pay you back I will return your skirt. "
Mary says " NO NO NO you cant return it I hate you I hate you mess up everything of mine my $155 boom-box, my $122 DVD player. Mrs. Camden walks in and says " What is all the commotion in here!"
Mary says " I hate my sister."
