Jenna Watson stared at her friend, with amusement, laughter and a hint just a hint of jealousy, Lily Evans; perfect student, popular girl, beautiful red curly hair, delicate green eyes, teachers pet, great student and a great friend. Jenna loved her with all her heart but she was nothing compared to her, she sighed. Lily had just been asked by Sirius Black, SIRIUS BLACK. She could scream, she had had a crush on him since forever and even though Lily only liked him as a friend, she still had a date with him. Anger filtered through her, she wanted him to like her but then that would mean nothing, he would dump her after a week and go out with some ditz. Life was so unfair!!!!! She hurried over to Lily's side on the couch and waited for her to finish reading that page, then attacked her for information. "Hey Lily," she said "Hey Jen," Lily replied "So.." She said " No I don't like him and we are only going to the ball as friends and of course I don't have a crush on Potter because he is an idealistic imbecile who he is not worth my time or energy," Lily replied as if she had had this conversation before. "So, can i....?" she ventured "Of course you can ask him out after the dance, he is just a friend and your happiness is my happiness," Lily said hurriedly Well then, Jenna thought, that didn't take up to much effort or time, she could now get Potter and Evans together. When she scooted over closer to Lily, she looked up and saw James' eyes on Lily and she smiled, it would make everything all the simpler, now if she could get rid of that bimbo, James had as a girlfriend, she could think of a plan. Now time to ask Sirius for help, whispering a bye to Lily who gave her a happy smile and waved to James, she bounded over to the 5th year boys' dormitories.
