Musings – Part Two!

Walking along the path,
The balmy breeze is blowing,
Ruffling my ivory cloak,
Once again, I'm all alone.
Remembering the far away past,
Wanting to be so close,
Yet keeping so far away,
Hiding my face behind the shadows,
And walking through the night alone.
I've had a few friends,
But now they're gone,
Blown away into the dust,
I pushed them far,
Who knows if we'll ever meet again.
Thinking about my desperate folly,
How this selfish lie led me down
The rocky road alone.
I've been running after the distant dream,
The solution to my infinite curse,
Perhaps I'll never find it,
Perhaps I'll die trying,
But I'll find it,
I'm sure of it,
It's hiding out there somewhere,
Waiting for me to find it.
A/N: Argh…I messed up…(sorry, very sorry!) I accidentally posted two chapters of the same darn poem, when I was supposed to post this one as Chapter Two, which I happened to write when I was out of stuff to do when waiting for my carpool…-_-…well, alrighty then, please review and thanks, and sorry for the mix-up! ^o^;
