Davis walked down the street with Tai, humming just a little to happily for the comfort of people -besides Tai- who knew him. He was quite happy that he finally got some time to spend with the elder digi-destined.
"Nii-chan?" Davis asked sweetly. Tai looked at his little brothers' innocently wide eyes and knew that he was in for it big time. The others didn't have a clue that Davis and Tai were brothers and the two planed to keep it that way. They all thought that Kari was Tai's biological sister when all it really was, was the fact that Tai was adopted into the Yagimi family. The same went for Davis.
"Yes Otouto?" Tai asked. Davis looked at his brother.
"Can we go get ice-cream?" He asked with realllllly wide eyes. Tai sighed knowing right away that he was going to lose this battle.
"Fine. But you remember that if we should see any of the others we're gonna havta go back to Tai and Davis ne?" He asked not really liking that idea in the first place. Davis looked like someone just rained on his parade with that statement but cheered up.
"Fine Nii-chan. But that don't mean that I havta like it." He said with an adorable pout.
When they got to the ice-cream parlor they were both happy that they didn't havta put up their little act. yet. Davis ordered a banana split and Tai ordered the same.
"So Nii-chan are you gonna go on the camping trip this week?" Davis asked. Tai looked thoughtful.
"Ya I think so, hey do ya think that you could come? I'm allowed to bring as many people as I want. Same goes with Kari." He said. Davis nodded enthusiastically.
"Sure. Melissa is always trying to get me to spend more time with you anyway." Davis said knowing perfectly well that Melissa -his foster mom- would be beyond upset at even the slightest thought of him being with Tai. She said that they need to move on and forget about each other. HA FAT CHANCE!!! The only reason he got to spend time with Tai period was because he lied and said that he would be with friends, well that wasn't actually a lie because Tai was his best friend. Or one of them anyway.
"Say Tai, how long do you think that we can keep this little act up?" Davis asked. He was so busy trying to see his brothers' reaction that he didn't see or hear the thug walk up behind them. Well not until he shot Davis in the back with a gun.
