As the Tournament was about to begin the President of the Tournament was sitting in his chair in his plush office when all of a sudden a shadowy figure stood before and spoke.
Shadow: I am a birth of evil and you WILL do what I say!
President: No I will not!
Then the figure infested him and his deck with darkness.
President: I have made a decision, this will be a singles tournament all teams will be broken up!
Crowd: Hey! What! No fair!
Joey: Hey this may work in our favor. Now we have 5 chances to win that card.
All: Let's Do It!
President: There are some new duelists I entered as well as some of the most famous duelists. The Finalist will face me! Let the duels begin!
Duels started every which way. Mikes was the first to start it off.
Mike vs. Dark Blight
Dark Blight: I'll lay Jirai Gumo in attack mode. Go!
Mike: Now I go. I'll play Axe Raider in Attack mode and set 1 card face down and play Swords of Revealing Light! GO!
Dark Blight: Play De-spell on your Swords of Revealing Light! And I play card swap! It allows me to switch a card in my hand with a card in my respective deck..
They went back and forth hacking at each other life points until it was 4580 (Mike) and 2150 (Dark Blight)
Dark Blight: How could this be? A master duelist of my caliber being beaten by a rookie?! HOW?!
Mike: A direct attack at your life points, ATTACK! BLUES WHITE DRAGON!
Dark Blight: NNNNNOOOOO!
Mike: I now activate my millenium item! The new millenium it is the last defense against the shadow games being reborn. Millenium Sword, banish this evil creation to OBLIVION!
Kaiba: I didn't know you had a millenium item.
Yugi: Wow, do you have another half?
Joey: Have you ever been overcome by it?
Mike: You know now Kaiba, Yugi yes, Joey no. Well lets go, Joey your up next.
Joey: Oh yeah your right. I'm up against some guy named Evil Sorceress.
Yugi: Sounds like a spawn of evil, if it is I'll banish it to oblivion.
Mike: Fine with me.
Kaiba: Man I wish I had a millennium item.
Mike: Don't worry. According to ancient texts you and Joey will get one.
