Background: Lorelai and Luke married in the fall of Rory's freshman year of college. All three were now very happy. Lorelai finally had Luke, her true love that only took her a mere eighteen years to see. Luke now had a wonderful wife of four years, a daughter and a baby on the way. Rory finally had a steady father and a little brother or sister. Neither Rory nor Lorelai had talked to Christopher since the Sherry incident.
**********Luke's P.O.V.****************************
I hear the music begin and turn to see my beautiful daughter all donned in white. This is the day all fathers dread, his daughters wedding day. Even thought I know I didn't help bring Rory into this world, I still feel as if she is my daughter. She is closest thing I have had to a child. I've seen everything, her first boyfriend, her first day at Chilton even her first steps. As I link my arm with hers she leans over and whispers: "I love you Luke, you're the best," and she plants a small kiss on my cheek. Then I lowered her veil. The bridesmaids and the groomsmen begin to move forward. Lorelai & Jess are first, then Lane & Derek and lastly Paris & Jonathan. When they reached the alter the wedding March begins and the crowd stands facing towards the back of the church. We start forward and the crowd gasps at the sight of Rory. She is so beautiful. She looks like an angel without wings. I can't help but choke back a small chuckle as I noticed that the Groom's mouth was slightly agape. Yet I'm still saddened. This is the happiest day of her life and yet I wish she was still a little girl. As we reach the alter, I realize that I have to give her to him. Don't get me wrong, I like the kid but he doesn't deserve her. No one is good enough for my Rory. The march ends and I kiss her hand and give it to him. Then the minister begins.
Minister: "Who gives this woman to this man?"
Luke: "Her mother and I do." I reply. My voice was shaky and I was about to cry. It hit me. It was no longer Lorelai, Luke, and Rory. It was now Lorelai & Luke, Rory & him. She wasn't my little girl anymore. Now she was a beautiful woman. It's amazing how time passes. As I watch her dance in his arms at the reception I realize how grown up she really is and I see the love that she has for him lighting up her eyes. I wouldn't have it any other way.
The End
Should I sequel? Review Please!!!!!!!!
